Had to call multiple times over several days to get through. The first day their phone didn’t seem to be working. Other days it was busy. Once I did get through the employee was very unfriendly. She expected me to know what room I wanted and seemed irritated that I didn’t. Making the reservation was painful. I had to spell my last name 7 times. Once she finally took all my information and my card number, she read back the reservation info and had entered the month wrong. When I corrected her, she told me that because the correct date was on a weekend, a two night stay was required. That wasn’t in my budget, so I told her if two nights were required, I didn’t want a reservation. So, after enduring that whole mess only to find out I couldn’t make a reservation, she had already run my card and couldn’t refund the reservation herself. The manager who can refund me won’t be in for two days, so now the money is out of my account due to the employee’s mistake and I won’t be refunded for 48 hours. At no point was there any apology or even concern over the situation. Definitely ruined any desire to visit.

A hot spring is NOT relaxing when kids are allowed to scream at the top of their lungs and run around like wild animals. My dog knows better than to act like that and yet he's not allowed in the cabin by himself, in a crate. Insanely expensive for a rec center experience.

What a beautiful place on the highline of beautiful montana. Hot tub, warm pool, beautiful sauna, and even a really cold pool for a dip after the sauna. Stayed in the camp ground with full hook ups. Outside was closed for maintenance but the inside was bomb. We'll be back in April!!

Very much enjoyed a soak here, the main pool could have been warmer, the hot pool was 103f and perfect to soak in. The sauna was an extra plus! The staff we met were very curious and helpdul

Awesome Resort and restaurant 18 miles East of Malta. I was in the area looking for a place to bird hunt, as well as a place to stay later in September. Hot Springs, giant in door, and outdoor facility. Very clean showers, RV parking for less than $45.00/night, 3 classic hotel rooms, and around 6 absolutely georgous stand-alone cabins. Cabin insides are complete with what looks like new kitchens, dark hardwood floors, absolutely beautiful beds, starting at $240.00/ night. To top it off, there is an attached restaurant serving everything from walley, which I had, to steak. Allow it is 1 mile from beautiful Nelson Reservoir where you can get dogs in the water and relax along the shoreline. Wonderful place.

We were called a day before our reservation saying that the door wasn't working because the lock broke. They offered us a different room that my mom and I would have shared a small bed or to come back a different date when I took off time from work and traveled across the state. They refused to give us a discount on the room even though we had to walk all round the outside of the building and the screen door is crap and was extremely hard to open and close. To top it off if we left our room we had no way of locking the door because we could only go in and out the sliding screen door. The room has glade air fresheners plugged in the outlets so the room smells awful and causes me to get migraines. When I was looking for the glade plug in I found garbage behind the TV stsnd.

We camped here, ate at the saloon, and enjoyed the hot springs. The gravel pads were level and hook ups easy to access. The campground is made for big rigs. The hot springs are clean and well taken care of. And bonus surprise of guest chickens in the morning!

Absolutely Fantastic – A Must-Stop for Travelers and Hot Springs Lovers! We were headed from Glacier National Park to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Everyone in the family was excited to see Hot Springs on the map! This resort is less than a mile off the highway, but we heard no highway noise. Both hotel and RV guests will find a spot to rest here. Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs was an unforgettable highlight of our 7,009-mile RV adventure! We had a full hookup site, which made our stay super convenient for our family of five. The hot spring pools were incredible—clean, well-maintained, and not at all crowded. Each member of our family found a favorite spot to relax, and the variety of pools made it fun for all ages. The staff was attentive and kind, keeping a close eye on the pool deck while also being genuinely friendly and helpful. The entire atmosphere felt welcoming and peaceful, which can be hard to find during busy travel season. The facilities were top notch—honestly, some of the nicest we’ve seen, and we’ve been to many hot springs across the country. You can tell the team here takes pride in the experience they offer. Our kids are already asking when we’ll be passing through Montana again, and we’re right there with them! If you’re anywhere near Sleeping Buffalo, don’t miss this gem. Highly recommended!

We had the BEST time! We rented the Deluxe cabin #1, while other family members rented the interior suites for a quick weekend getaway. The cabins fully functional kitchen was a great for making breakfast and snacks, while the Steak House on-site was DELICIOUS. From the littles to the bigs, we all had a blast swimming and soaking. The outdoor pool was perfection, with the sauna a nice touch. I highly reccomend booking a weekend getaway, or popping in for a quick soak!

We have made this an annual family destination. Love the closeness of proximity of Cabins and indoor/outdoor pools and tubs. Saloon and restaurant on premises is fantastic. Fishing is terrific. 5 Stars repeatedly!

We visited a couple weekends ago and was extremely disappointed. First off, with two younger kids, you are paying high dollar prices for them when they have no kid friendly pools to where young ones cant even touch and to me, if I have to hold my child and not let them play, I shouldn’t have to pay that kind of price for a 3 and 1 year old!!!! But the MAIN reason is the pools were disgusting!!! There was black fuzz all over the indoor pool plus hair everywhere even on top of the water. The pools were so dirty it grossed us out. The girls dressing room had clumps of hair all over and if I’m expected to walk without any shoes on across the pool room floor, I would rather walk on a somewhat clean floor and not get hair stuck to my feet.. All and all, we have been there before and for how expensive it is, to me it’s not worth taking my kids too when we can go somewhere else that’s less expensive, cleaner and more toddler friendly.

I really feel terrible for the employees, they seemed so stressed out and upset that we were here. The restaurant wasn’t open, so the snack bar got a lot of business and the one person was doing so many things she really didn’t want to give us an RV spot. Then they closed the bar at 8pm (bet the same person was running that since noon). Nice facility, but the hospitality was sorely lacking. I’m sure it is so hard to get enough help, but I’m left feeling bad I imposed upon them by stoping by.

The good: great bartender, food at the restaurant was honestly delicious, though not cheap by any means. Friendly staff. Clean bar/restaurant/bathrooms. The bad: the hot spring pool was like a community rec center. SO MANY kids. Splashing, jumping, throwing balls. Not a zen experience one may expect from a hot spring. The "casino" is 6 machines in the corner. Bathrooms (not in restaurant) have shower curtains instead of doors. The camping units are merely spots in a gravel parking lot. The ugly: it STINKS. The air stinks, the tap/shower water stinks. It's just smelly. Shower bathrooms are unclean. For $60+ a night (with a 2 night minimum) we are leaving underwhelmed.

A great stop slightly off of the Rt2 beaten path. Hot spring fed pool and very hot, hot tub available. A must stop !

Looooove this place, our second time stopping on our road trip. Wonderful hot, cold and warm soaks. All in all worth a visit. Loved the natural colored water but some of the upgrades are nice, affordable cabins in the off season. Shop and products are pricey and Campgrounds not so great.

The drive across Montana to get to Glacier can be really long, boring, dull, and hot in July. Do yourself and your family a favor by stopping at this gem. It will be a true highlight to your travels through Montana. The campground is well groomed and quiet. Access to the hot springs included with Campground. This is worth your stop you will not regret it, especially after the long drive through Montana. Glacier is about 5 hours away.

Stopped here on our cross country camping trip. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a good site for our tent. The hot springs are lovely and it looks like the new outdoor pool that is being constructed will be amazing. Will definitely come again.

What a wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. Sweet little cabins full of everything even a gas powered stove unfortunately it wasn’t working, but it was warm enough. The springs were amazing and we could go to see them after hours if we were staying in the cabins so when we went to the springs, there was no one else there very lovely. There were hot pool, cold plunge pool and a regular huge pool that was tempted was amazing restaurant impeccable service. I would definitely visit here again.

Great place to stop and relax from the long drive across Montana! We're heading to Alaska. They had room for us to park our 38'w/toad. Going thru border at Sweet Grass.

First time. Middle of nowhere. Great place for families or big groups. Huge pool with a cold tub and hot tub, sauna. They have a convenient store and make pizza and hot dogs. You can buy beer too. They have cabins and ice castle to fish in during winter. You can spear fish here as they sell them as you walk in.

Stayed here for family vacation. Won’t be back. Resort prices, without the resort. Nicest part was the bar. We stayed with two adults and three kids, and got a room with a king bed and a pullout couch. We asked for an extra blanket and pillow at the front, and were told they didn’t have extra blankets and pillows. Only 4 towels in the room, so we asked for a couple extra towels. They don’t have extra towels. If you pay for the resort rooms, you only get a certain number of swims, then you have to pay. We were there for three days, and had to pay $70 to let the whole family swim. On top of that, they charge you $2 per towel to rent for the pool. For the price of the room, charging extra for pool and towels is bananas. The shower heads in the shower had so much built up scale, there was only a few holes putting out any water. Obviously due to hard water, but at least try to clean it off before the shower heads won’t even work. Two air conditioners in the room, because it was a large room. One of them didn’t even work, so we had to keep the curtains down to keep it cool. Girl working the front counter was nice, and did what she could.

Enjoyed a day/night at the resort. Hot springs are good. Water comes from an old gas well that didn’t have gas. Water is great and wasn’t crowded. Not first time visit but first overnight in cabin. Cooking supplies were ok, nothing more than basic. No spices or complimentary amenities. AC worked decent but only in living room. Close a bedroom door and you no longer get AC (they use portable units). Plenty of mature trees around the cabins. Had an issue getting gas grill to light. Staff has a maintenance guy there in 10 minutes. Grill needed a new battery in infighter. But grill was left a mess by previous guests. Had to burn it hot and use provided wire brush to clean it. Overall it wasn’t Quinn’s Hot Springs (5 star rating) but was nice. Didn’t get into their new saloon. Needs a restaurant but u can get frozen pizzas and sandwiches at front desk. Liked the fact they offer honor system to grab things for overnight guests from store. Didn’t like the fact 4 ice creams cost $30 or they automatically charged my credit card.

Excellent hot springs. Not to busy. Nice quiet area, dark night sky. Cabin was awesome. Clean, nice decor. Pools were great. I feel they are looking at making some more big improvements. Hopefully bring back the outdoor pools with a patio. It's crazy how everything metal is badly corroded. I imagine it would not be easy to keep up.

A couple of buddies and I rented an ice house for 3 days. OUTSTANDING! The owners couldn't have been nicer! And super helpfull. They knew exactly what the fish were doing and where they were at. Although the fishing in the whole area was a little slow, after talking with several locals out on the ice, we did WAY better than anyone out there. They put us right on the fish! Great walleye and some trophy pike! The ice houses are amazing! Very clean and comfortable. Very modern and set up well. Highly recommend! We will be going back very soon.

Was a nice soak. The frozen pizza was surprisingly better than expected with a cold Coors light tall-boy from their fridge. We boondocked at Nelso Reservoir 5 minutes away. Relaxed and ready for a good night's sleep.

Hidden gem on Montana Hot Springs. Enjoyed our visit very much. Bring food as there are no nearby places to eat. Pools great. Worthy of a day stop or overnight stay. Tent camping, pull-thru RV spots, and cabins.

We stayed in the campground for one night in a 35' fifth wheel. Full hookups, spots are level with a lot of room. No wifi. The mineral pools are great! The Lady at the front desk was really nice and told us we could use the pools after hours. We really enjoyed our stay here!

A lot of money has been put into this place to make it very nice except they should have invested in a filtration system I visit hot springs in many places and have never been to one where the water was so gross. It was like swimming in Mountain Dew (pee green. Intentional spelling) and orange chunks in it. Was told it was the minerals but I also had to scoop bugs out when I first got it. The only clean water was in what appeared to be a hot tub but was ice cold. The medium pool was nice and hot and shadowed enough that you didn't see the floaters. Limited snack items. Towels $2 to use. Changing rooms were among the nicest I've seen, included handicap areas. WHERE MOST HOT SPRINGS CHANGE THE WATER DAILY, THEY ONLY DO WEEKLY SO WE HAD 5 DAYS OF CRUD and with the hot water, I wonder about bacteria growth. Beautiful facility but I went for the hot springs and that was not good.

The Springs were amazing, my family stayed in the Homestead and The Last Best Place cabins. They were extremely comfortable and very clean. The springs were so relaxing and warm and the pools were very clean and nice. When we got out of the pools and went back to our cabins we were so relaxed we fell right asleep. The people at the front desk were very nice and friendly and were a great help. The pool was clear as the blue sky I would recommend anyone i meet to go to this place an experience all it has to offer. All of the minerals in the water left me feeling refreshed at the end of the day. This was a truly great experience.
