I personally want to thank Afton and Ron for saving me a $900 service call. Ron for calling and making a professional diagnosis, before driving out to help me!! And Afton for taking my call and suggesting for Ron to call me before just book a service call. This is the pinnacle of professionalism and hospitality. If anyone is in need of roadside assistance, Hanser is my recommendation
I would say try a different company! My sister was in an accident at the stoplight 1 block away from the wrecker yard. Car was not severely damaged and could roll fine but would not start. Tow bill to take the car to the yard 200ft away from the accident scene and 2 days of storage was $1270. Now 2 days later they have been charged again by the billings office it looks like for the $1270 again. The bank is returning the second charge but this is an extremely high cost in the first place! Office lady was helpful, bill was outrageous.
We had the most amazing experience with this tow company. They saved us I a real tricky situation and their customer service was above and beyond! Great company!
Broke down in our pick up a few minutes before entering Hardin, we were still hours from our destination. Ray and his dad picked us up on time and took us to a Auto Parts store. Really awesome people, very friendly and helpful!
My husband, our grandson, and I were in an accident in Montana when we were over 1300 miles from home. Talon picked us up in his tow truck and took us to Hardin. Our truck was totaled as was our travel trailer. We were far from home and friends. The office manager, Leann, was wonderful. She recommended nearby hotels and a few restaurants. We were without a vehicle and she drove us the hour to Billings so that we could get a rental car. She also stayed late so she could supervise us as we gathered some of our belongings from the ruined camper. Amazing service!
Broke down coming around Hardin today, 88 degrees, 2 big dogs pulling a horse trailer w a horse. Owen, who normally works from Billings was absolutely the best. Awesome guy, awesome service.
The company was very helpful and got a tow truck to pick us up. Talon was the gentleman who picked us up. He was so very helpful. Very generous with his advice and took us to a nice hotel in Hatdin. My truck broke down pulling my horse and horse trailer back home to Montana. Had the sheriff help me out and she called Talon at Hardin Hansers and he was awesome. Helped me get my truck towed and my horse safely back to Hardin. Very willing and helpful guy. 10/10 recommend!!! Thank you, Talon!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDING Hanser's in Hardin. The service was absolutely amazing. I was stranded on I-90 due to a turbo malfunction for 3.5 hours. Roadside service kept getting denied by other towing companies because I had a flatbed gooseneck trailer. Then, they contacted Hanser's. Hanser's dispatcher called me directly and I was able to prepay by phone with her. Talon, the wrecker operator, was there in no time. He worked fast and efficiently and was a pleasure to visit with. He went out of his way to personally deliver me to a hotel of my choice after dropping the pickup off at the dealership. Talon's kindness and care was a bright spot in a long day, roadside.
On Wednesday, August 28th, 2024 I rolled my Dodge RAM and the 22' travel trailer that was my home in the median of I-90 a bit east of Hardin, MT. Talon with Hanser's towing in Hardin responded to the accident. At the site of the crash, he was kind and helpful, assisting me in returning my scattered items to the bed of my pickup before he towed both vehicles back to the Hanser's yard.
Once back in Hardin, Talon went far beyond the call of duty to assist me. He helped me contact a mechanic to determine if my truck could be driven, allowed me access to the tow yard over a holiday weekend so I could sift through my belongings, and offered his help in so many ways. In a time where I felt completely alone and deeply devastated, Talon was a light in my darkness.
The technicalities of the tow were flawless, yet this feels insignificant in comparison to the human aspects of my situation and Talon's eternally kind response. If you need something towed, I suppose you could call anyone. If you need to be cared for in a time of crisis, don't call anyone other than Hanser's.
We blew a tire on I-90 on our bike trailer on the way home from Sturgis. The tow truck was there very quickly. Talon, the operator, recommended where to get the tire fixed, where to get dinner, and where to stay in town. We were beyond pleased with his help and guidance. He was able to advise where to store the bikes while the trailer was waiting and being repaired. We would have not had nearly as easy of a time if he had not given us all the helpful advice. Our impromptu overnight in Hardin was massively improved with the hospitality Talon gave us.
Talon out of Hardin provided excellent service. I didn't really time his arrival time, but it was short. He quickly assessed the situation and got right to work. He got the spare on and we were on our way.
Our car broke down just out of Hardin on i90 E. We have 5 kids and live in Buffalo, Wyoming. This company's dispather, Brenda, went above and beyond for us! Even went as far as sending another vehicle to get us all off the side of the road but our ride was about 15-20 minutes out so Talon stayed with us until they got there!
My truck broke down on the interstate and Talon with Hanser’s Hardin came to the rescue. Great guy, very professional and I highly recommend using this company. Thanks again Talon, you really saved the day.
Hit a deer with my tacoma 40 miles east of Hardin. Totally wrecked my car. Talon picked us up within 45 minutes of calling and gave us a ride all the way to our hotel in Billings. Me and my 2 friends (all 19 year old college kids passing through from CO) were totally freaked out and didnt have a clue how to handle the situation. Talon made good conversation the whole way and helped me calm down about my truck, gave tips about insurance and how these types of things usually play out, and told me about the area. We wouldve been pretty easy to scam but he helped us out, could not recommend any more
Our van broke down in Lodgegrass, MT. There were no services and trying to find a tow was tough. A service was finally dispatched to us and it was Talon. 1:30 am he arrived and was ready to help us, got the car loaded up, got us in the truck and headed to Lyle Auto Repair. During the drive he was easy to talk to and just simply put us at ease. He took us to our hotel, and let us know if we needed anything in the morning to call him. Not being from Montana, unfamiliar with the area, and breaking down was extremely stressful……I hope we never experience that ever again, but it is wonderful to know there are good, kind and helpful people out there and I only hope if you ever need a tow! Talon is the man to call. You will not be disappointed. We are forever grateful.
I was in a rollover car wreck yesterday where I should have died from the damage that was done to the vehicle (Thank God I only have scrapes and bruises!). Hanser's was called and when I got there the next day after a crazy day of finding a vehicle Talon had all of my belongings (including those that had either broken off the vehicle or and flown out) collected. All valuables, and I mean ones I even forgot about, were there. He was extremely accommodating and met me at my convenience to pick up my belongings. He also helped me find a place to stay in town for the night. The service here has been nothing but absolutely stellar. 0/10 would wreck again but if I did I 10/10 would want to wreck here again.
Breaking down on vacation in the middle of seemingly nowhere can be a frightening thing. Especially on a Sunday night hours from your destination. But Hardin’s service was quick to arrive and help. I can’t thank him enough!
Stranded near Hardin on i90 with kids. 90 degrees. Flat tire. Spare won’t come off of the truck. No one we called could help. An officer stopped. She called Hanser’s. Not only did he quickly come with a tire in hand, he cut the spare down, inspected it for safety, installed it and followed us to the nearest place to fill it with air. His kindness and work ethic was beyond expectation. Thank you SO much for this. We will think of you always
If you’re so lucky as to have Talon as your driver, you will MOST CERTAINLY have an improved night. For someone who sees almost everyone at their worst, he keeps an amazingly positive attitude. Talon provided great service, super flexible with time/drop-off, and was overall an absolute pleasure to be around. If you need help, ABSOLUTELY call and request his service.
Deceptive and lie to you about pricing until they come out to help you. Was quoted $100 plus the cost of gas, once they arrived almost 2 hours later (was told it would be 40 minutes) they charged us $70 more than what we were told on the phone. Would not recommend.
This service was awesome. Talon knew exactly what to do to get our vehicles out of the mud. He was kind and helpful and never kept us waiting.
He made 3 trips to help us. The whole episode was stress free and professional. I will never use another towing company besides Hansen's and Talon. God Bless.
My husband, dog, and I were stranded on our way through Montana with a misfiring cylinder on our truck with our RV in tow. Got a tow for the truck AND the trailer and a ride to the next town in a timely manner and our driver was super nice. I would recommend this place if you’re in a pinch and need help on the side of a busy highway! Super nice people! Thank you Hanser’s for rescuing us!
Pathetic. I set up to meet them at my car that needed to be towed at 3 p.m. I understand that expecting them to be right on time in unrealistic, but I sat and waited for 40 minutes. Nothing. So I call and ask what the status is. They said that they are behind. I said that it must be to my mechanic at 5 p.m. because that is when he closes. The woman on the phone said that there would be absolutely no problem getting it there by 5. My car was not at my home. So I lock the door, put the key on top of one of the tires (ignition was jammed so this was pretty safe), and go home. My mechanic calls me at 4:45 telling me that they called him and said that they will not be making it tonight, at the same time they call me saying "Sorry sir but we are backed up today." They said that they will have it towed first thing in the morning. Well, it is ten o'clock and it's still there. Now it's one thing to be backed up, but it's another thing to promise me that they will get it that night, and then they don't. Communication and follow through with this place is horrible and I will be telling Progressive to never set me up with a Hanser's for roadside assistance ever again.
Don't waste your time or energy with these people! Nothing but a ratt race of lies! 3 calls this morning to be reassured all was well. I waited for several hours believing no call is all well. Not with these people, the forth call I called too was telling me that the driver decided he didn't want to work today and was assured I was going to get a discount from a driver out of billings rather then harden. A day late and no call from them was going to save me 40$. Pay an extra dollar for an honest company! It will save you so many troubles! ... I PROMISE!
