I been going to this salvage yard since I was a kid Walt is a tad salty at times but over all a good old man once you get to know him has helped me ALOT threw out the years and has left me hanging a couple times but I just let it go and would go back he would remember me and apologized every time he got snippy with me but I also have sold him many cars threw the years Mike the old boy works the yard kind of quiet but like Walt (the old man) he comes around after a bit if I ever got a part from there and it wasn’t any good I always took it back traded it for another one at no cost so you will find a good part eventually but until then you just swap them out till you do lol
They said they had an 05 Saturn when I got there they said to walk to the end of the road and car will be on the tree line we walked around for over an hour trying to find the car and couldn't get anybody to show us then when we do find the car it's an 07 when I went back to the make shift office and ask the old man if they have a different Saturn the old man just keeps saying he don't want to talk about a Saturn I try to tell him that we cant find a 05 Saturn he tells me to move my car and he don't want to talk about Saturn's the cars were covered in weeds so bad u couldn't even get to them this place is a joke I will never go again
They had all the parts, the owner was cery nice amd had a lot pf good stories to tell while the other guy pulled all the parts for us. They had all of the parts that we needed and them some, prices were very fair as well, 10/10 would go back to them if I needed to in the future.
Grumpy ol feller, tells it like it is and of course how it's going to be..if he has it you can guarantee it's the right one and he will have it waiting for you.
I called them to see if they had a blower motor for my 06 dodge caravan, he said yea we got that $25 take it out yourself, and hung up. I called back to make sure that they had a van that would b compatible w it b4 goin, he said yea I'm sure we do n hung up on me again. I called again to let him kno I was goin 2 come look n he hangs up. I went out there, the old man said I need to go through right there, I looked at scrap metal thrown all over n pieces of cars, a van that was smashed n grown up w vines n weeds throughout, said how do I get down there he said just walk right through, and a sign sayin, not responsible for any injuries lol, I can see why and left after he would not help w a thing for me.
Very sketchy place. Went there and nobody was there. Also wasnt sure of where to park so i parked in someone's driveway. Less of a business, more of some guys backyard. Had large selection of older trucks and SUVs though.
Said they had items that weren't even on their lot. Promised for 3 days straight that when I got there the items would be pulled and waiting at the office, all 3 days were a disaster and I don't recommend them to anyone
I called asking for a set of seats, guy told me to come look if his trucks had any. When I said I live 2 hours away and would like a verification any were there. He said Then I don't have them and hung up on me
I went here to pick up a dash panel for my car. I arrive there and he charges me 10.00 I didn’t have enough cash, so I go to the atm to get more and when I returned he attempts to charge me 15.00. I will never go to that junkyard again.
Would rather give ZERO stars. Guy was a huge A**HOLE on the phone when I called and asked if they had a part because he said I was wasting his time, don't call back and hung up on me! ACTUALLY I wanted to give him my money for a part. I wasn't rude, didn't even get the whole name of the part out before he interrupted me and yelled for wasting his time. Will NEVER use them for anything, do NOT recommend to anyone.
