Im sorry but 1.4 cents a pound? Can you go to bed each night knowing this? Sad a good person brings ton aluminum, 1.4 cents. No ethics. Why be in business?
To all you scrappers that work hard For the scrap that you pull up just know their scale is not right according to a cat approved scale .I weigh 10-7 at a cat approved scale, the scale there at Bloomsdale recycling says I weigh 11 3 empty they have four people BARKING orders and not one of them knows where to go or what to do .have been doing business with this place for a long time and I’m sad to say that I will no longer be doing business with them. They do not have very good people skills or business skills, They do not treat you as somebody who is there to sell them steel. They treat you like a thief. Would recommend going somewhere else.
Been going here for years, incredibly kind and honest people. I accidentally dropped some cash on the floor of the office on my way out and they tracked me down on facebook just to get it back to me. You don't get that anywhere else!
Excellent service and fare price on scrap copper. Many recycling companies in Missouri WILL Rob you if you are not checking national averages! Bloomsdale Recycling is honest. Definitely worth driving a few extra miles! They will have my future business and I will tell the people I know about them. Keep up the good work Jeff!
I have been doing all of my business with them ever since they opened. It may not be very often that I can accumulate enough stuff to haul in, but even so, they have always been nice, friendly, generous, and quick. They try to get you in and out as quick as they can so you don't have to sit and wait for a long time, like other places, whether you are the only one there or if there is a line. Very good customer courtesy.
Great people never had a bad experience! And they don't destroy your trailer with their backhoe like most places do. Just wish they were at least open for a little bit on Saturday for people that can't make it during the week.
