I brought my Taurus to them because it was making an odd sound and running really rough..
They diagnosed the problems a belt, and a new set of spark plugs was all it needed. My car is old (pairs for) so I was happy they could service it quickly, and at a reasonable price.
They were quick too. I brought it in on a Monday morning, and it was fixed before lunch. Great service all around..
I can not thank STS Towing enough for helping me today when my car took a poop on me. They were very friendly over the phone while getting my information, and the driver was quick and efficient to get to me. I will definitely be calling them again if ever in the need in the future.
What do you want in a mechanic? Trustworthy? Fair price? Good Customer Service? Steve at STS Car Care and Towing delivered all of these things! The guys in the shop were super nice as well and didn't make me feel out of place or uncomfortable. These guys are experienced and fair. I have no worries when I take my car in; I know I am being treated well. They will even pick my car up at my place of business and take it to the shop to services it and then bring it back or if I drop it off they will provide me with a ride to work if I need to leave it. I have had to have my car towed before also and they were prompt, reasonable, and provided me with a ride to my destination. I have . 5 stars in my book.

Has changed drastically over the years. This year I took my truck there and I had to constantly call them for updates. I believe my truck was in a shop for at least 4 weeks before telling be the time and change it was bad. On the way back, they're tow truck driver, damage the truck bad. They feel because of the engine being bad that the damage wasn't worth shedding out cash for. There was no compassion. There was no customer service. There is no reason for me to go back
Horrible customer service. Had me waiting 2 hours for a tow truck and I finally called to see if they have an eta and the guy LIED and said my insurance canceled the tow. Find out the insurance didn’t cancel but these ppl decided not to go cause of mechanical issues lol I wouldn’t recommend this place to tow my bicycle lol
Very rude man. Wanted to charge me 600.00 yo tow my car 2 miles, that wasn't even on road 10 hours. Charged 3 hund. I was having an awful time & 1 hr from home & he wouldn't even take my debit card made me wait 2 more days just to give him cash, he could have taken my debit card if he wanted to, he owns the place. Nothing like helping one another. Wouldn't recommend to anyone for anything!?
PREDATORY TOWING!! at its worst. Do not let them pick up your vehicle from a accident in jennings. I had a car accident 4 miles from my home JPD called for tow trucks I asked the driver to tow my vehicle to my house he says he could not per the owners instructions. I followed the tow truck to the shop. I got to the shop at the same time as the tow truck I was still charged a 50 impound fee a 75 storage fee. For them having my vehicle in their lot for 20 minutes while they did paperwork in total a less than 6 miles of towing cost 560 dollars. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CON ARTIST AND SCAMMERS IN TOWING. THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE'S MISFORTUNES. I WILL NEVER ALLOW THEM TO TOW FOR ME AGAIN.
Am willing to speak with anyone who is considering using this service. I rarely take the time to write a review with my busy schedule but this is beyond poor customer service. As you can imagine, getting locked out of a car with a small child is a nightmare. STS Towing was called through my insurance company to provide lockout service. I received a note stating that my tow was on the way (which should have been sent ahead of time to prepare). Within minutes, I then received a note that the driver was outside. I noted that I walked to CVS and it would only take a few minutes to get to my car. I was back with my car within 5 minutes and notified the driver. He then told me that he had unlocked my car and left because I took too long. My keys were in my trunk, not my car, and I was still unable to leave the area. When I spoke with the driver directly, he noted that it was my fault, that it was a personal problem, and that I needed to call someone else because he had left and would not return as he had other jobs to handle. I’ve included screenshots below. These folks are the last people you want to help you in a chaotic time. Use someone else with better decorum, patience, and customer service.
STS staff members and services are beyond remarkable. Not only do they repair vehicles, but they repair hearts, too. Many times I've seen STS open [their] hearts to provide peace of mind to make life a little easier for their customers, by doing an extra task without charging for it and allowing a vehicle to remain parked on the lot longer than usual. I can also attest to STS assisting a family dealing with a crisis. My personal experience was when I was offered a ride home until my car was repaired. Drew has always been honest when addressing the problems with my vehicle, and has never over charged me. The entire team has very good work ethics and great time management skills. The counter- clerks are outstanding; I appreciate their smiles, laughter, and putting up with frivolous behavior. I love them all!

This is a very fair shop. They work with customers to make sure they can keep on the road for a fair price. Remember it takes education to keep older cars on the road and they are 5 stars in my book for the educational repair work and fairness in fixing issues that arise with older vehicles.
They are all good people that work here . The police tow cost of $288 is crazy to me but their daily fee is $50 a day . I spent close to $600 to get my car out . I know it’s a business but that’s a lot of money to get your car out that’s not that badly damaged
I have used STS for years (over a decade faithfully). What sold me is the HONESTY, quality work, and good natured people that work there. There have been instances where others care repair shops have tried to charge me bogus fees and after taking it to STS, they let me know there was no major issue and cost efficient means to keep my vehicles running safely. Although i will say they should allow debit/credit payments for towing, the experience wasn’t bad. Our car was stolen, and found in jennings. So STS car care towed it to the impound lot. We went and looked at the vehicle and everything seemed okay, except for the usual stuff when steeling a car… we went to pick up our car and noticed the front wheel was kicked out. Due to the tow driver hooking up the winch onto the tie rod. My husbands a tow truck driver , so he knew as soon as we realized. Things happen! If it’s dark out, it’s an easy mistake to make,
And truthfully. No big deal. We had to get it towed to another shop, and pay for that repair since insurance wasn’t covering it. HOWEVER, we spoke with the owner of STS, and he was very polite and professional about the whole situation. And is reimbursing for the repair, which we appreciate since his shop is 30 minutes away from us. Hopefully we won’t have to use them again because that would probably mean our car was stolen again. But the customer service was great ! Mistakes happen, but taking ownership and doing the right thing is the way to make up for it!
STS charged me for a diagnostics on my vehicle and it wasn't a complete or accurate diagnosis of the problem. They wanted to charge me $1400 to fix the problem that was false. The Manger Drew denied responsibility and did not except accountability for dropping the ball. They dont follow up with you, I had to call the shop numerous times and shop due to them not communicating with me. Drew the manger lacks integrity and knowledge, I don't not recommend this shop to anyone!!!
I am a St. Louis Native and had an accident in Kansas City that left my vehicle disabled. Because of the distance involved, my insurance company left it to ME to handle the transport back home. The STS team made the entire situation simple and handled every aspect of getting my car to my local dealership for lengthy repairs. Thank you STS for taking care of me and my vehicle. I dropped off my car this Monday January 9th. I brought it for a brake job. However I received no status update as to when my car would be fixed. When I called Wednesday there was no update nor did they even service my car. I spoke to a rep and informed them that I would come to possibly pick it up Thursday, there was no reply no call. disappointed I'm sure they can do better than this. Unsatisfactory

STS has serviced my cars multiple times, I've always been pleased. We all know changing plugs in a big Ford V8 can be risky, but they did great. And, they had the proper equipment to do an efficient, comprehensive transmission fluid flush and replacement. You see a multitude of training certifications posted around the shop, indicating management takes the time and expense to keep their mechanics fully skilled with the latest in auto repair requirements.
I have known Steve the owner for several years now, and he knows how to fix car's the right way. I had tires, brakes, and batteries replaced in the past, and present without any problems. I would strongly recommend doing service there, because they will make it right. Steve keep up the great work that you, and your mechanics do each day. Great job.
I have been taking my vehicle to STS for years. They are always professional and courteous. The facility is always clean and well presented. I don't think I have ever been there and not seen someone cleaning and making sure things are nice for the customers. I have always received quality work in a timely matter. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality car repair or towing.
