Been going there for 9 years EDIT: Sad to say, but DO NOT GO HERE. The old dudes who owned the place sold it a couple years back and the new people are rude, overcharge, and do not fix anything. First, I was getting a code for my exhaust or something. They told me it had to be completely rebuilt; it was all rusted out. I had them do the work. Next... I took my pontiac G6 there for a power steering pump replacement. After they did that, it suddenly had a leak that it didn't have. They admitted to either missing it or possibly the replacement and flush "did something". But they wanted to charge all the labor again on top of repairing it. They finally agreed to half the labor cost, which was absolutely ridiculous. Couple months later, I come out from work and ALL of my power steering fluid is on the ground. I take it to Robinwood Auto (amazing btw). Turns out, when ferguson put it back together, they laid the intake hose on top of the exhaust, causing it to melt/burn a hole right through it, and dump all the fluid and no longer function. To give you an idea, I paid a little over $900 to ferguson for that repair. And then another 400+ to robinwood. Now to the exhaust. They didn't rebuild it. They rewelded one piece by the muffler to lessen the noise and let it continue to leak. That was $400. They didn't fix the flex pipe, the actual thing that's leaking. Do not go to these people. Go to robinwood or old Towne.

The service was excellent and the owners as well as the mechanics were very friendly and professional. They keep you updateded via regular text and will not perform a service without your consent. The best part is that if your repair turns out to be costly, they offer financing. What other automobile repair service provides this? It's also nice to have a privately owned automobile service around because they treat you like family. It's hard to find this sort treatment at national chains.

Great shop with a real knowledgeable staff . They got me in same day and they were polite and professional . When I dropped off my car I was notified what was wrong and why withing a matter of minutes literally . They took care of me so I will say give em a try if u find yourself looking for mechanic shop!!

Went to get an o2 sensor removed after I stripped it out. Not only did they get it done in 15 minutes, they didn't charge me for it. Much appreciated.

Had my muffler and exhaust replaced, We communicated over text and they responded in a timely manner.. They let me bring it back in to look at the finished work on the Lift walked me through it and noticed one of my back brake rotors was missing a bolt and replaced for free. They were very respectful and professional.

My brakes were grinding really bad and I need them fixed very soon so I could get to work on time. I dropped off my vehicle a little after 8am this morning and I was picking up my around 2:30pm. I made it to work at 3:30pm on time. The service I received today was beyond words. The staff I interacted with today was very welcoming and understanding of how urgent I needed my brakes fixed. Micheal informed me every step of the way about my progress. He sent me via email and text messages about the problem and the cost. I would highly recommend Ferguson Motors if you need work done on your vehicle. The service was speedy and convenient. They did an amazing job on my brakes. Check this out!! They test drove it before calling me to make sure that I would be safe on the roads. Now that's satisfactory service. Ferguson Motors did an amazing job. Tell a friend or family member about them. I have been doing business with them for years. I highly recommend them.

I bought a used car here at a reasonable price, and when I had an issue shortly after, they helped take care of me quickly and without further cost. What more can you ask for?

Knowledgeable mechanic. Excellent service. Saved us almost $2500 over a previous mechanic’s bid for the repairs on our 2013 Ford Escape! Highly recommend giving this repair shop a try!

Would leave zero stars if i could. Bad communication skills. Sorry to see this place go down hill. Go to Andy Wurm or Zisser. They are much better. Edit: Ferguson motors use to be great its the new owners my dad went there and i did too once able to drive(over 10 years ago).Only had problems recently but try zisser tire or andy wurm.

Had 3 engine check lights within 2 weeks of each other. After paying over $2000, I have a 4th check engine light. My battery which is less than a year old has gone dead twice. My car sounds like a truck affer the 3rd check engine light and now a 4th. Needless to say I will be looking for new mechanic.

Had my car repaired here. Tanya is great up front. Michael is very knowledgeable. Josh knows his stuff when it comes to mechanical issues and he detailed my car and it was spotless.

I took my car up to Ferguson Motor Service for some wiring issues and Cody did a wonderful job. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The cost was very reasonable compared to other places I've been and I do intend on going back.

CUSTOMER BEWARE…this IS NOT the original Ferguson Automotive!!! The original owner sold the business in February 2023, all the mechanics and front office staff are new and super young. Took my car back there last month because the check engine light was on and it needed a safety inspection. My car sat on the parking lot for 5 days before they even took a look at it and that was after me calling daily for the status. The mechanics damaged my sensor so it no longer worked and I ended up running out of oil because I wasn’t alerted. Luckily I caught it in time before any severe damage occurred. Also, Tanya claimed I needed $2,000 worth of repairs and ordered aftermarket parts but 3 weeks later, still no parts. And now i have to pay extra fees to repair my sensor. I would stay far away from this business. All these recent negative reviewers are not wrong. Any positive reviews listed primarily were years ago and/or when the original, skilled mechanics were still working there, which is no longer the case. So don’t be fooled. If I knew it was under new management, I would’ve never gone back. Definitely not returning.

I took my car there on June 29, 2023 I picked it up today August 1, 2023. $721.20 and the check engine lite is still on, and the engine vibrates like all of the nuts and bolts are going to fly off. Horrible place. People are nice but mechanics are useless.

Had my truck serviced here in the past. I was pleased with the service and the cost of repairs were very reasonable. The mechanics on duty were helpful and professional, explaining the process needed to make the repair. They didn't try ro "sell" more repairs than what I brought the vehicle in for. Would highly recommend their shop.

The work was fast and efficient. The mechanics thoroughly checked my car and let me know, honestly everything that was wrong and had to be done. The whole experience overall was very good and I will be taking my car back again for repairs!

Car repairs for a single female can be quite stressful, so I am eternally grateful Kevin and his crew are there to help. The clutch on my 2009 Toyota Corolla suddenly got stuck, but it was fixed and ready on time as promised. I've been going there for over 10 years now. They have never let me down. Most importantly the work is always done right the first time. I highly recommend this shop.

The people here need to learn how to talk to their customers. As far as working on the car they don’t tell you how much it will cost to fix it. They give you a bogus estimate. For example $500/$600… which lets you know they plan to over charge you. If you really need your car fixed I recommend that you take it somewhere else. These people are not friendly nor are they welcoming to different kinds of customers. To my “different customers” out there please beware of this place.

Nothing is more stressful to a female than having car problems. It's comforting to know that Ferguson Motor Service has been there for me for around 10 years now. They communicate the status of the repair, offer fair pricing, but most importantly repairs are done right the first time. They stand by their work.

Have been taking vehicles here for years and I cannot recommend it enough. The owner runs a good shop and I have never had an issue with any of the services I have had. They also price fairly and get their work done efficiently.

As much as I've gone to these "big time" mechanic shops, these nice gentlemen and place is the best I've gone too. Gentlemen at the front counter was honest with me and said they were very busy and couldn't get to my car until Monday, could look at to see why my oil light is on though. So I was prepared not to have my car over the weekend. I go back up there after I called him to get status, they end up fixing everything that was wrong with it and very reasonably priced to have it done. I'm thankful to God he gave me the mind to leave the first place and directed me to these guys.

My car started making noise on my way into St. Louis, so I took it here. Although they were busy, they checked it quickly and saw it was an easy fix. I was out of there in 10 minutes, no charge! I came home and told my family--I've found my new mechanics! Unfortunately, I live in Chicago, but I wanted to let anyone else who is looking for a mechanic to know how impressed I was with this place. Thank you, Ferguson Motor Service!

Excellent service at a great rate. They have fixed everything I have brought in and never tried to pitch me on useless repairs. They were fast and friendly every time I have ever used them. I would recommend them with confidence to anyone on any vehicle foreign or domestic. Thanks guys!
