Overall, this was a terrible experience. The truck driver was extremely unprofessional and rude. If you decide to go with this company, be sure to set aside your entire day to wait on them to pick up your car. I had an old car that I needed to get rid of. I rescheduled my original appointment because I got stuck at work. I called and we set a schedule for the next day from 12:30 to 1:30. I then had to take off 2 hours of work to make sure I could be there for the pick up. At 1:45 there was no tow truck, and when I called, he said he couldn't get there until 3. At this point, I told him to just cancel the pickup because I couldn't wait around for a total of 3 hours on this guy to get my car. I told him I was very disappointed that he was not able to stick to our appointment (mind you, he didn't even call to tell me he was going to be late). He then said, "if you wouldn't have had to reschedule, I could have been there on time." He said he could cashApp me the money and pick it up when he had time. I told him no, since I had no idea if he would ever actually pick up the car.

Seriously fast, painless, and I got a great price for my wrecked car. I got a quote in a few minutes after chatting over the phone and texting pics of the car. Once I accepted the offer, i texted pics of my title & lien release, and set up a time to meet the driver. Two days later I met the driver, he handed me a check, and I handed over paperwork & keys. It took less than 5 minutes (and he was even a few minutes early!) — would highly recommend!

Well they said theyd be by at 10am cst currently after 11cst on hold for the 3rd time for 15+ to find out when theyll be buy. NOT impressed. The number they gave me to call my vender goes to voice-mail and its full. Like i havent already tried to contact them

TLDR; Expect a quick quote with helpful staff, followed by a quick schedule for the transaction. Afterwards do not rely on them to arrive to pickup the vehicle at the expected time. Overall I think the service was acceptable. The quoting was quick and they were very kind and transparent about why they pay the price they do. I was then sent to dispatch to schedule the pickup of my vehicle. They did not arrive that day at all. The next day I called customer service for an explanation and they told me they had a problem with the tow company and they would instead come out right away today. They never came that day either. The next day I called again, and they explained that yesterday the driver called my phone but couldn't get through so they cancelled the pickup. I find that hard to believe because I use my phone on a work and personal basis daily and have not experienced any missed calls or issues of that sort, nor did I receive a voicemail. After this call however they quickly sent a new company and completed the transaction... Just 2 days after it was scheduled. So overall, the service was completed, but not as described. If you're in a pinch though, hey, it works!

The setup for selling my vehicle was simple enough. However, the process of towing the car was more stressful than it should have been. My time window for pick up was 1pm to 5pm, but my tow truck driver was late. He did call me with updates are 3:30 pm, and did not arrive until 6:30pm. I had to ask him multiple times to fill out my Title and Notice of Sale as he didn't seem to want to provide his information. He also attempted to buy the vehicle for a higher cash offer and did not accept my "no" until my partner stepped in. He forgot to write my check and asked me if he was supposed to pay me when I inquired about it. I think this would have been a more pleasant experience if I had a different tow truck driver. Overall, it made me feel like I was being scammed. Not sure if I would recommend or use this company again.

The offer and acceptance process was easy. I was told the vehicle would be picked up on a specific day. My husband waited and watched for hours. I tried to call in the morning to get an ETA, but the lot wasn't answering the phone. Several hours later I tried again and finally got through and was told nobody would be here until the next day between 1 pm and 5 pm. Ok, fine, we waited. 7:12 am the next morning the tow truck driver called and said he was on his way. My husband had to scramble to be ready. That's kind of annoying. Everyone's time is valuable. Please be better about arrival time accuracy. We were pleased with the tow truck driver and his efficiency. We got our check and he was on his way.

Great experience with the gentleman who made the offer and guided us with the next steps (getting the title signed, etc.)…however, our experience in dealing with the tow truck company (specifically dispatch) was terrible. We waited and waited for them to show up to pick up car (car was on a parking lot 45 minutes from our house), calls to them were confusing as every person told us something different. When we went back to the car the next day, we waited over an hour, again during multiple calls to the tow company we were told different things. The tow truck driver was very nice and the whole debacle wasn’t his fault as he just went when and where dispatch sent him.

My 2001 Ranger, with 314,000 miles, was done. I was stranded and had the truck towed to a Car X nearby. Cost to fix was $900+. Cash For Cars Paid me $590 and towed the car to their place. My wife and I were thrilled! Cash For Cars was professional and courteous. I highly recommend them!

If I could give this company zero star I would they took my vehicle without my permission, I never signed anything or even received a date or time of pick up. I even canceled a pick up since it seemed really off. THEY went behind my back and took her from the automotive place I had her at. Gave me the run arounds about where my car was or how to get the funds they were going to buy her for. SCAMMM!!!!

The process was pretty fast from the time I called them to the day they came and picked up the car. I got paid at the time they picked it up. Didn’t have to pay for towing. The towing truck driver came on the time he specified, with updates on his ETA. Very good experience.

I scheduled a time to get my car picked up on a Friday from 1 to 5. No one called, no one picked it up. I called cash for cars and the guy said oh sometimes that happens. I wasn't notified that that was a possibility. So I had to wait until Monday. Schedule more time off to be available. Finally sold it and went to cash the check and was told it would be another day to do that. So much wasted time. I wish they communicated better.

Well aside from the tow truck driver not showing up on time, actually being very late, and causing a lot of issues at work because of the incessant calling and being at the wrong address, he was very polite about it though and they were 3 hours to 4 hours late for their appointment but really I just had to answer a few simple questions and easily traded my used vehicle for a check, I answered the questions on the phone the next day they came out and took my title and my car and handed me a check and the check was for the exact amount that they quoted me on the phone, so I'd say all in all that if you need money quick and you got a car you should definitely call plus they offered me $700 more than the competitors that I called obviously the sales staff is on commission because the rate for purchase varied for each place I called some places by 5 to 600 but I can say that cash for cars gave me the most money they came out immediately they gave me a check I could cash that second for my vehicle and all I had to do was pick up the phone. So thanks for buying my car.
