*** New edit-Today Copart called and got the tow company to send me the remaining amount to equal the amount they originally quoted me.*** **This is an edit to my review. The company’s response said to call the number (given in their response) to discuss. I called and they just said they can’t even see my google review and since the car is towed they can’t get it back. What?? I don’t want it back I want the full amount you quoted. They said they could escalate it again, which is ridiculous because they already did. Again they said because the wheels aren’t aluminum is why I got less money. THEN ASK THE QUESTION ABOUT THE WHEELS BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER! ** I am very upset with your company. The tow company just got here and offered less than the quoted price because of some wheels on the car. The person I spoke with NEVER asked about the wheels on the (which are original) but suddenly the offer is less because of something you never asked me about. I called the number listed and of course it is somewhere overseas. They are very sorry but the tow company gets to negotiate???? Then you should never make an offer to begin with.
I went to cash my payment check and the bank would not cash it. I called Copart and they said there was an hour lag on the check being valid. That needs to be disclosed to the customer at pickup. I also need to know where I go to get the title transfer signed. The driver said he does not do that.

Terrible, sounded easy at first...had to hound the dispatcher to get the car picked up..was promised day one, two then delayed two times finally day three...dealers offered 10x more...Ask for more, I didn't & regret it! Lesson learned!
Seems to be a scam. I’ve spent hours dealing with them showed them a copy of the title and now they want a power of attorney, yet NO MONEY has changed hands yet. They should be avoided.
The sale went quick and smooth. Talked to Angel, he walked me through the process over the phone. Then I just set up the pick-up date with the junkyard guys. Got a decent check for my dying 2013 ford escape.

Since the township I live in decided to go door to door and harass people about old, unused cars in their driveway with expired tags, I figured it was time to put our lovable ‘Old Gray’ out to pasture in one of our city’s finest scrapyards. But who the hell do I call for that? That’s where Cash For Cars comes in. I filled out a simple form on their website, quickly got an offer for Old Gray, and was given a number to call to accept the offer. I talked to Bernardo, who was great at his job, and he then passed me to support to connect me with the scrapyard and arrange a time. Although the tow truck showed up earlier than my scheduled time, I left work to meet the driver and say goodbye as the car that brought our child home from the hospital was put on the rack and wheeled away to her final resting place. The check was fair and there weren’t any gimmicks or loopholes and the whole process took 24 hours. A fair and honest transaction. Thank you
The process went pretty smooth. Delia was friendly and helpful. Waiting on the gift card she say I was to get. Didn't say how I was to get it. Hopefully it's coming in the mail.
Don't settle for the price that they bring to the table. I settled for a much higher price. You can always settle for a much higher price. They hounded me with 2 separate agents very unprofessional. As well as not transparent at all. It's supposed to be cash 4 cars. Not a check that might clear in 3to4 days for cars. You can also make more if you bring the vehicle to them. I'm giving them 2 stars because this was my father's vehicle, and it was very difficult to deal with letting this vehicle go, which I let them know several times they were not caring at all. However, I kind of expected that so wasn't really looking to be coddled, but definitely needs Extreme customer service overhaul. Firstly, I don't want to talk to some foreigner about my car here in the states. I wanna talk to americans with american jobs.? And secondly I had to do all the legwork myself, including asking for documentation for the car being sold so that I can then turn around and not have to pay my personal property tax next year as I don't currently own this vehicle.Anymore.. So I guess if your back is up against the wall, these are your guys 450$ 2008 Chevy malibu with damage to fenderwell break calipers and shocks. Plus front right headlight smashed in. Jain was very helpful from the beginning I received an offer for my totalled 2009 Toyota Camry in November 2023, however I ran into an issue due to me signing the title in the wrong spot which most companies don't want to deal with understandably. Seriously fast, painless, and I got a great price for my wrecked car. I got a quote in a few minutes after chatting over the phone and texting pics of the car. Once I accepted the offer, i texted pics of my title & lien release, and set up a time to meet the driver. Two days later I met the driver, he handed me a check, and I handed over paperwork & keys. It took less than 5 minutes (and he was even a few minutes early!) — would highly recommend!
TLDR; Expect a quick quote with helpful staff, followed by a quick schedule for the transaction. Afterwards do not rely on them to arrive to pickup the vehicle at the expected time.
Overall I think the service was acceptable. The quoting was quick and they were very kind and transparent about why they pay the price they do. I was then sent to dispatch to schedule the pickup of my vehicle. They did not arrive that day at all.
The next day I called customer service for an explanation and they told me they had a problem with the tow company and they would instead come out right away today. They never came that day either.
The next day I called again, and they explained that yesterday the driver called my phone but couldn't get through so they cancelled the pickup. I find that hard to believe because I use my phone on a work and personal basis daily and have not experienced any missed calls or issues of that sort, nor did I receive a voicemail. After this call however they quickly sent a new company and completed the transaction... Just 2 days after it was scheduled. So overall, the service was completed, but not as described. If you're in a pinch though, hey, it works!
Martha was the person who help facilitate the sale of my vehicle and was absolutely great and made it super easy. These guys definitely upfront gave me the best price when others were trying to low ball. Would recommend this company for their overall ease of use and professionalism.
The setup for selling my vehicle was simple enough. However, the process of towing the car was more stressful than it should have been.
My time window for pick up was 1pm to 5pm, but my tow truck driver was late. He did call me with updates are 3:30 pm, and did not arrive until 6:30pm. I had to ask him multiple times to fill out my Title and Notice of Sale as he didn't seem to want to provide his information. He also attempted to buy the vehicle for a higher cash offer and did not accept my "no" until my partner stepped in.
He forgot to write my check and asked me if he was supposed to pay me when I inquired about it.
I think this would have been a more pleasant experience if I had a different tow truck driver. Overall, it made me feel like I was being scammed. Not sure if I would recommend or use this company again.
Great experience with the gentleman who made the offer and guided us with the next steps (getting the title signed, etc.)…however, our experience in dealing with the tow truck company (specifically dispatch) was terrible. We waited and waited for them to show up to pick up car (car was on a parking lot 45 minutes from our house), calls to them were confusing as every person told us something different. When we went back to the car the next day, we waited over an hour, again during multiple calls to the tow company we were told different things. The tow truck driver was very nice and the whole debacle wasn’t his fault as he just went when and where dispatch sent him.
