Good parts store with knowledgeable personnel when sufficiently staffed. However, I've experienced very poor counter service on more than one occasion.
The times this has happened, my presence wasn't even acknowledged, and twice I actually had to walk out and go to another brand's store.
As a customer ready to pay their high retail prices, being ignored doesn't feel very good.
I purchased a battery for my truck in May of 2023 and it died on me 3 days ago. Took the battery in and was told it only had a 2 year warranty, but they honored it anyway and gave me a brand new one. They didn't have to do that and I very much appreciated it. Thanks!!
Dee came out, got under my vehicle to determine exactly what I needed to fix my breaks. He went out of his way for a “possible” sale…..poor guy got his work shirt pretty dirty. He gave me a quote and explained everything thoroughly. It’s comforting to find good work ethic and knowledgeable employees these days. I won’t go anywhere else and will tell folks to head that way!

Needed a new battery and didn’t want to pay dealership premium. Makayla was very helpful and installed it into my 2018 Yukon within about 10 minutes. I’ll go back when I need another one!

Was completely ignored by the staff as they talked to each other while looking at one of their computers. Figured they were busy trying to figure out an order so waited patiently. Another person walked in and was helped immediately. I walked out and will not go back.
I recently had to get a new battery for my Ram. Dee not only helped me to select the right one, he put it in for me as well. This was a big deal for me since I was unable to put it in myself due to a recent wrist injury. When I tried to show my appreciation for him going the extra mile with a tip, he refused it - “just keep coming back and let others know how your feel about us”. In a world full of people trying to take advantage of you , this place really stands out as one you can trust and depend on.
They were great. I needed a couple cans of light silver of paint (spray and brush) for a 2005 Dodge Neon (wasn't my first pick) and they were able to get it in the same afternoon. Now that there's customer service! Great selection for in store shopping as wel!
All the parts you need at competitive prices and outstanding service! I recently purchased two batteries for my F-250 diesel. When I asked about the on-line offer of free installation, Dee the store manager said they could do it right away- no need to schedule an appointment. He professionally installed both batteries and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. That type of service is hard to find these days. If I'd gone to the Ford dealership, I would have had to schedule an appointment, probably wait for my truck for at least and hour and it would have cost me $120 just for the installation. Support our local Parkville businesses- they both earn and deserve our support!
