This place is great. It's very organized and the staff is friendly. I have nothing negative to say about Midway itself, however I must give a heads up; DON'T GET STUCK waiting on a train - You WILL be waiting for awhile. Might as well put 'er in park & shut 'er down... might even have time for a nap
I spent 19k on engines from them. They neglected to tell me there was a 90 day core return policy. So now I'm stuck with all these course. I can't do anything with. I will not be going back there to do anymore business with them.
Midway is easily the best of all the KC u-pull-it style yards. The staff is always helpful, pleasant, and present. No standing in line for ten minutes to check in or buy your items, as they generally have ample staff present, unlike some other places...
Called this location they didn't bother to tell me the part was at one of the other locations. So after I drove an hour I was told by a rude man that my parts were at another location 30 minutes away. When I got there first they couldn't find it then they said it would be 20 to 30 min to pull it. Didn't have time to wait so left without the part. Wasted 3 hrs of my day and $20 in gas. First, last and only trip to Midway.
seems like there's always a part I'm looking for , staff has always been friendly, helpful , and respectful , after a rain you may want to bring a canoe
very very upset at a unreasonable yard minimum that will drive off many of us long term customers that have been there for decades. that always need more yard help to speed up their service but their inventory is really big and they just need to ramp up customer service and help the little guys as well as the big accounts.
This is the place to go for pre-owned auto parts. The yard is well kept and thier staff is friendly and willing to help locate specific cars for you. This is my go to place for certain parts that the auto stores want 4 times the price.
I needed a sun visor for a 2006 Kia -- it needed to match a particular VIN series and color. Several places on the Internet said they had the part, but they never returned my emails or calls. (One of them said they had it, but it turned out they didn't). I finally found this place and was assisted by a great guy named Randy -- very polite and helpful. He found the part and sold it to me at a very reasonable price, plus freight charges. It was a perfect match and it took me about two minutes to install. I generally don't service my own vehicle, but if I ever need to again, I'm calling these folks first.
If you enjoy being hold forever this is the place to call. After someone answers the phone they have no idea how to look up there own parts and then they want four times of what shipping cost
