I’ve went to this yard for parts for over 20 years now and I can tell you it’s definitely went downhill. The Ladies in the office are very kind and polite. After my last experience at this place I personally wouldn’t recommend.

The counter staff here are friendly and helpful, but I’d recommend doing a little research on prices before buying. I stopped in looking for a few small parts for my car—the website showed three options, but when I arrived most of them had already been picked over, which is understandable. I did manage to find a couple of switches I could use, and while I usually avoid electrical parts from salvage yards (since rain and wear can make them unreliable), I decided to take a chance. At checkout, those two small switches came to $33. Unfortunately, I didn’t ask the price beforehand—once I left, I checked online and realized I could have bought them brand new for less. Lesson learned. Overall, the staff is nice, but make sure you compare prices so you don’t end up paying more than you would for new parts.

I'm going to this park yard for many years unfortunately today the woman at the counter try to make a profit off of me I looked at the price online and I've never paid no more than $8 for a sensor$8 for a small piece of plastic that it was connected to and then the rest for the sensor was came to a total of 21.00 very unhappy I know the owner so I will be speaking to him personally about this matter that woman at the counter is bad makes me wonder how many other customers she has took an advantage of at this part chart that do t look good for business I've always paid no more than a total of $8 for my sensor on the website it says $5 for a sensor so where's the tax coming from to make up the rest questioning that woman

If you are the type to work on and repair your own car then a salvage yard like this is a must. I have pulled everything from small trim parts to complete engines. This yard is clean, well organized and the staff is always friendly. Remember you can check their website to see if the vehicle you need to pull from is there before you head over.

Hands down this is the place I've been looking for my entire life!!! I had no idea you could source parts for a vehicle so cheaply so quickly so easily. Was even better is you can register to get an email or even a text message if they bring in a car that is the same as one that you're looking for parts on you can even do multiple vehicles if you're in charge of the whole household the vehicles like I involuntary am ;). They'll print you out a map at the front desk to show you where the vehicle is they even will explain how to pull the part if you're not familiar also you know there's YouTube and that's always a big help, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome, these guys are true professionals, be on the shadow of a doubt, and the fellas that work there in the back are definitely some of the hardest working guys around, it shows from the inside out and the outside in that leadership has things buttoned up and keeping the trains running on time. I can only imagine the ins and outs and all the extra laws and ordinances etc instead of a place like this has to deal with to operate legally just to exist in today's world, but this little slice of heaven doesn't just exist it excels, you'd be surprised how well organized and clean a scrap yard can be, or how professional and informative yet friendly and fun loving the staff has always been to me. They even recently upgraded all their wheelbarrows, The previous ones were God knows how old but the new ones are way better, since I mentioned wheelbarrows I don't know how often they do it but I've been there before when they had in anything that goes in the wheel barrel is $100 sale I think it was last year around Christmas, and they are not kidding I saw some pretty impressive feats of shade tree mechanic tree work that day and then even better skills at manipulating a well overloaded wheelbarrow to the front door The top things off it's not like the Menards bucket sale where you almost feel like you're being looked at as a thief for participating in the Menards bucket sale when you do the or at least from my experience when you do the wheel barrel sale here at the Midway U-Pull in Liberty they're all rooting for you and they want to see how much you can actually get in that thing and that is quite the opposite of what I'm used to in that type of scenario with a creative sale like that talk about a fun day, Even though it was cold and pulling parts can always be kind of stressful, I almost felt like I was finishing a marathon when I rolled up there with my wheelbarrow and then with how tough things have been with the inflation and seems like the ever-increasing prices for having any type of work done on your vehicle or having to purchase any type of part and then if you do get a cheap part you're always waiting on it from Korea for like 37 days or something, short story long I have got so many great deals from this place Cadillac tail lights I think it was 30 bucks or something like that went online they were all around 300, I helped the buddy of mine get a front clip bumper for his vehicle I don't remember the exact price so I don't want to put it on here but the body shop wanted almost 2500$ and I want to say take a zero off that and that's probably what he paid for it but I can't say for certain so don't quote me on that. And I'll tell you this you'd be surprised with a handful of tools in a little bit YouTube can do for your pocketbook and for your self-esteem, if I can pull apart off and put on my vehicle anybody can and that's just the bear truth, The only criticisms that I could have of this place would be two things and keep in mind this is a scrap yard so I don't expect it to be like a hospital clean or something like that even though the place is really clean and organized if it's rained anytime recently it's pretty muddy out there and depending on where your vehicle is you might have to build some sort of floating dam with car mats also The only restroom is a porta potty but it's a scrap yard, the prices are low the people are friendly my wallet swears by it, thank

Quick and easy place to find what you need. The website was easy to find the car you are looking for and the location. The yard was tidy to where you can move easily down the aisles. Staff was super friendly too!! Will return for our future needs. Our car is a 99' Grand Prix, and they had several.

The prices are better than other pick-n-pull places. They even have military discount. The staff were knowledgeable about where to find the type of vehicle I was looking for.

I found a donut tire for my car! I’ve been desperate for one for a long time. Didn’t want to pay dealership prices. I got lucky and found a new one cost me $12 We also got a new latch for a broken trunk fixed that among several other things. It’s a junkyard but dang it’s so easy to get what you need for much less. I’ll definitely go back for used parts if needed.

I highly recommend Midway U Pull Liberty for your salvage auto needs! They helped me out a great deal by assisting with towing away my broken down 2000 Ford Windstar minivan. They gave me a check on the spot before towing away the minivan. The guy was very nice and helpful! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It would be nice if they'd ever get their website running again, it's been inoperative for 3 months now. Get over yourselves and spend some money on getting your failed website fixed, quit being so cheap.

Well I’ll start off with the prices online are wrong. Don’t expect to show up and purchase anything for the prices posted online as they will tell you they are now 2x or even 3x as much. And refuse to honor their pricing online. What’s even worse is they refuse to FIX the price list completely. Even when SHOWING THEM their OWN price list online - They REFUSED to honor it. I checked online pricing, went out. Spent an hour in 90 degree heat pulling a part. Only to get told “too bad. I don’t care what our website says” when I got the part off. And drug it 1/4 a mile to the front checkout. (And let’s be clear. This part was labeled the exact same way as it was on the computer in person. As it was on the price list. So they %100 are trying to pull a bait and switch) I got told word for word. “if you don’t like it. You can come in tomorrow and argue with my boss about it” Then let’s get to the point that they haven’t updated inventory of vehicles for over a year. (Both row52 and their OWN inventory list are pretty-much all stuck in December 2023) so you’ll never actually know what’s there unless you want to call them and wait for 20 minutes to find out. Management has been changed already for FAR TOO LONG for this to still be happening. One thing I’d agree with is that there efforts put forth into bringing new inventory HAVE improved. But again. How the heck are we supposed to know there new inventory… WHEN WE CANT EVEN LOOK IT UP. (Edit*, right after I posted this review. They finally decided to update the inventory, I’m very proud!) This new management was supposed to be a big upgrade. Now 4/5 times I go to this location. I either get scammed on pricing. Argued with. Or find out the car I went for. Isn’t even there anymore. Get it together. This is embarrassing.

Customer Service is ok, yard is very difficult to get around if it rains, import vehicles don’t flip very often, prices are at least good, and they do run sales every now and then. All in all, not a bad yard.

Women behind the counter are super rude for no reason. When you call upper management, you’re literally wasting your time. Just wanted to give my money back and only defend them like they would never do that. I got tired of hearing it and hung up. I don’t want my money back. All I wanted was management to not let that type of behavior be acceptable towards paying customer from employees but apparently he knows them better and they would never do that so. There are countless other junkyards/u pulls in the Kansas City area. I would go to literally any other one than this location. It’s a small yard not a lot of rotation. Was a great spot to come check because you never know plus it’s a great place to grab lunch because the fish market across the street is fantastic, but I literally won’t be back over the way they treat people coming to do business and give them their money. I don’t want to be talked to like that by anyone especially by somebody trying to collect my money. I’ll just go somewhere else and suggest you do the same.

Hadn't been here in years (since before the fire), staff was friendly but the yard could use some serious gravel. Several days after light rain, this place was a mud pit and several lagoons that made rows completely inaccessible. Plenty newer model selection but accessing them unless you wanted to wade through quite a bit of mud and water was out of the question. The posted price list seemed a little higher than the value of a pre-owned part.

a bit of High prices!!! Good parts. Lots of them. They might keep them for a while too. They have nice specials. They're not too friendly but they sell good parts. They can be helpful if you ask enough questions. Very knowledgable people. lots of stripped empty haven't been replanted. that's concerning.

Racist location!!!!! I will never ever do business with this place again, ever!!!! RUDE, OPENLY FRUSTRATED Clerk combs through my open tool bag as if looking for a needle; when right behind me a caucasian couple came through and she did not even ask to look in their tool bag which they did not even offer in the first place. What a disgusting experience!!!!!

This place is so much better than other “you-pull” junkyard places around KC… I think you can guess which ones I am talking about! The workers here are so much nicer and helpful. I was able to come in and get parts off of a car that had been there for 2 months and was NOT already picked clean. Could have just been my luck of the draw, but I was extremely surprised. Parts were very fairly priced! I was very impressed overall and will definitely be back when I need to get some used parts for my Jeep!

The staff was so helpful and considerate and have me valid directions to the exact year, make and modal in the entire lot that matched my car as well as every carwith a perfectly compatible part. I had to problems finding exactly what I needed with minimal effort and I saved a fortune for sturdy reliable parts to get me through the year. Thank you ladies!! I Will return. You've collected yourself a regular customer.

Staff were helpful in pointing me in the right direction, very friendly too! Inside of the building was organized, smelled clean and was warm for the 37 degree weather, yard was organized, was easy to find the cars I was looking for, the website showed parts pricing, and inventory list with several pictures for every car! Made my decision to drive 2 hours there well assured, will be returning in the future!! Thank you!

Decent selection & prices. Their interchange is the best in the city. A bit of a drive, but worth it!
