I don’t ever leave reviews but this one really irritated me. My mom took some scrap to them this morning. The lady in the office was dismissive and sent her back outside. There a man helped her unload the car before informing her that, due to a new policy, she would not be paid because they now consider anything under 300lbs a “donation”.
We used to enjoy bringing our scrap here because they were fair and friendly. Now, we will not be returning.
Never used this place but after what they did for the family of a purple heart war vet flew the family to MO to return a purple heart that was found at their scrap yard is a darn good scrap yard to me. That comes from a good honest business
Scrap mart management worked with me so that I could get a timed load dropped off even when inconvenient for them, will be using them more in the future, not to mention the better pay out locally.
This was a great place to sell aluminum cans. They paid $0.65/lb at the end of Dec 2024. I was in and out of there in 10 minutes with cash in hand. I definitely plan to go again.
I DO NOT EVER leave bad reviews, however after numerous times of bringing in scrap here, (I'm an electrician) I CANNOT & WILL NOT EVER , return. I'm not certain how a company runs without teamwork. But the employee that helps offload, (Danielle) she constantly was calling her CO workers names, degrading them, laying at them. Then the gentlemen at the window was cursing when an older lady asked for help... How can you do business like this??? People won't remember what you say or do but THEY WILL REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL!!
Best place around to do your scrap business. Good and helpful staff. I highly recommend them!!
Prices have gone ☝! They have more help. I barely had to touch any of the bags.
The staff are always on the top of there game. They all work great together as a great team. they all are always working really hard to keep the flow moving very efficient. You can't find a better place to go to. It's always clean and everyone there has always been pilot and helpful to everyone of there customers even if we don't deserve it sometimes lol. They really take pride in there work and helping customers out the best they can. I don't go anywhere else. There prices are always good and that's important but that's not everything to me personally. Great job everyone there you all are the best around. Now get to work lol jk
Always helpful. Always nice. Very clean compared to other places. Fair on prices. Efficient. I plan on returning more in the future as well as pointing others to Scrap Mart.
