Was following funeral today and a worker for comers was out of his truck standing with hat across his chest he didn't even know my grandma but has this much respect thank you sir ..... would now recommend this company do to employees respect
Left me waiting 19 hours when they told me they would be there in 1 hour. During this time, I could've called another company but they kept telling me they were on the way. Because of this I got stuck in a snow storm. When you try calling them the only thing you'll get from them is "i don't know anything I'll call you back" and then you will never recieve a call. The response they just replied is incorrect. They are liars as well.
Had my 93 Dodge dually hauled on a roll back. When I got the truck, the driver side door had been allowed to slam into the fender, crumpling the front fender and causing the door not to open or close properly, leaving a finger sized gap at the top of the door that will not keep weather out. When I called about the damage I was told the driver didn't say anything about it, that they'd ask him about it. I'm waiting to hear back so I know how to proceed with getting my truck taken care of.
So today the 12/8/2023 they try telling me that it's my trucks fault that the door was flexed back that far and that they ARE NOT COVERING THE DAMAGE!!! Even though the driver apologized and said he was embarrassed that that happened, but now that it comes to being Liable For Damage the story changes! WHAT A GARBAGE COMPANY!! THE NEXT STEP IS WITH AN ATTORNEY!
Amazing experience, picked up, dropped off in less than 20 minutes! Guy backed up like a champ. My kid loved the experience. Thanks for turning a not so great situation..into a better one!
They were very affordable. The driver was very friendly. They got my car back to my house quickly and with no issues. I would definitely recommend giving them a call any time you need a tow
They were so helpful to us! When we needed a tow and rental after an accident the dispatcher (Randi) helped call rental places for us since we were having trouble getting through to a rental service. He definitely went above and beyond to help us! Dakota showed up to help with the tow and was encouraging, helpful, and made us feel like our car was in good hands! That meant the world to us! As we worked with them on the towing long distance, Bud was helpful in working behind the scenes to ensure our car got to the right place! He was very assuring and hardworking! Thank you guys for such great help in a rough time of our lives! Makes you feel like there are good people in the world!
My tire blew out late on a Sunday evening. I was driving from Minnesota to Tulsa without a spare. Even though they were busy they made sure my car was towed on a flat bed and delivered to Tulsa the next afternoon. Very kind and professional. I highly recommend this company. Thank you so much!!
This is a great company. I had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the highway. They arrived within an hour. The gentleman that came out was very careful not damage my low profile car when loading. I was very pleasantly surprised with the price. They really took a lot of the stress out of the situation. They were also recommended by the dealership and other tow companies that I called. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We were stuck along the interstate in the dark with a flat tire. Called Comers and they responded quickly (busy holiday weekend).
Very friendly . Bud delivered our car to our home. We had no lug nut key to replace the wheel. Great service !
They got my vehicle towed back home very fast when it broke down in another state. I was really appreciative of the quick tow after having an issue with my roadside assistance. However when I contacted them the day after to get a receipt so my insurance could reimburse me for the towing bill it was like pulling teeth. The lady on the phone told me she would email it to me when I initially called. Waited all day and even checked my spam folders for the email but never received it.
Called them back the next morning and told them I never got it. The same lady apologized and told me they got busy and she would send the email in just a moment. 3 hours later still nothing. I even went to their office but no one was there.
I called again and told them that my insurance company would not reimburse me until they send me my receipt. My financial situation wasn't great due to repairs I had to pay on my vehicle. All I got was more excuses. It shouldn't take a day and a half to send one email and I was depending on them to send the receipt so I could get my money back. I asked her to send me the email as soon as possible, and she actually had the audacity to hang up on me.
I understand that these places get busy, but there is no reason whatsoever to treat your customers this way. I shouldn't have to go through this much trouble to get a receipt. I eventually did get a picture of the receipt via text. Good grief.
For the record, this would have been a five-star review if they hadn't been so rude. If I need towing services in the future I'll look elsewhere.
The experience we had was amazing. He made sure to keep us warm and ensured us throughout the whole process. He arrived extremely quick and the process was easy and cheap. So happy he helped us with out mechanical issue and made sure to keep us feeling comfortable.
This place does not even deserve one star. First off, they're thieves. Had my car totalled went to grab my stuff from the inside of the cab( this was after it being hauled to a shop and declared totalled) and found most of my items missing: hat, gloves, hoodie. I'm pretty pissed. Don't expect them not to pilfer through your items in your car, because they will.
I needed to get my car towed to a shop, I called a few places to compare how much it would cost. I assumed it would cost a couple hundred dollars like other places told me but when I called comers it was gonna cost less than $100!! I spoke with Gentry, he was so nice and helpful!! This is the only company I will use from this point forward!!! Thank you so much
Poorly ran business. Lazy people. Not willing to give information needed or work with customers about a time to get their vehicles. Also 400 dollars for 3 days. Of course it's the place your police department calls. Good way to get it upp the butt without even having to go to prison.
Had a vehicle that was locked up, battery dead, couldn't get in for anything. Have these fellas a call and they were on the spot in less than an hour to unlock, even gave the car a jump for us. Great business.
Gentry was great to work with. Our class A motor home had battery issues and got stranded less than 1/4 mile from the rv park at around 1:30am.
I called him first and he said he would be on his way out to see if there’s anything he could do, but we may need to call another tow company if their big truck isn’t available. We called around and every other tow company was 3+ hours (even though THREE big tow trucks passed the rv on the road).
He trouble shooted the batteries and stuck with us the entire time.
Good Customer service is hard to come by nowadays so to say we are immensely grateful is an understatement. HIGHLY recommend.
For reference we own a 41 ft Gulfstream motor home with two sets of batteries (house and chassis).
Terrible.The police officer didn't let me choose the tow company he called them. Went to get my stuff out the next day after totaling my truck and it had been ransacked. My speakers/box and amps had been ripped out. My keys were gone which had very sentimental items on the key chain. A very insecure lot. Was told by a driver they didn't have cameras either. There was never anyone at the office. Had to call and wait for someone to show up. The whole experience seemed shady after a traumatic experience, it was awful to deal with.
Cannot recommend enough. They were prompt, not only got me back on the road but followed me to where I needed to go to completely fix my truck! Unbelievably nice man! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
AMAZING!! I hit a deer and was not from Joplin the first tow truck driver dumped me and my dogs and car at a not so nice place. He swooped in made sure we were all safe and is taking care of my car until I can get back to take care of it!! These guys are the best
The man that towed my car "ripped out" my center console. Breaking all the plastic clips, what's worse is there was no need for it. No apologies, I called Comers and got a return call that someone would contact me to get this fixed. No return call, no follow up. Huge hole in my center console. Driver was rude and destructive. I would call anyone but comers for a tow. My car issue was resolve by the mechanic but now I have damaged inside. Really poor business practice and Extremely unprofessional.
Awful businessman, even worse person. I was charged storage fees, because THEYwere closed on the weekend. What should have cost me $100, cost me $500! Avoid this trashy place at all costs! This guy talks to people with such small regard,because he knows we have to deal with him. Avoid, avoid, avoid
Randy at Comer is a thief. Just bought a nice Audi A4. Was impounded and when I got to it he wanted over 4k to get out. I'd call and he would tell me to call a few days later when he wasn't busy. Added about a month due to the run around he gave me and unfair business etiquette and would not politely communicate with me. Horrible business, horrible person and no one so far has helped me. It should be illegal what they have the power to do and somebody should do something about it.
My Aunt and her sister's were stuck at Murphy USA and her car wouldn't move when putting it in gear, accept backwards. Gentry was so kind to come out and fixed it so they could drive home. Arrived on time to tow my car because it had a flat and I didn't have a spare. When he went to pull it up on the truck, it caused a part of my car to be half ripped off due to it being pulled up uncarefully. The guy acted like it was still there and immediately asked if I had pictures of it before to see if he was screwed. Of course I wouldn't have, since nobody randomly takes random pictures of normal parts of their cars. I was stuck with paying for repairs and had no proof of what happened. Would not recommend, they will likely cause damage to your vehicle and say too bad.
These Gentlemen were VERY nice and Respectful to Me from the Moment they answered the phone. To the Moment they towed my Car Off. Their prices were fair and I would Recommend them to my Friends and Family. Thnks for being so Polite!
Idk if you do business with comers wreckers service but they ripped me off today. I left $80 in my car so they could tow it. They told me it was gonna be $65. Instead of leaving my change they took all of it. When i called back to ask about it. They denied and said they had no control over what there drivers do. Not a huge deal on $15 but just letting yall know that’s how they run there business.
