They always have the listing for what parts I need . FYI - to date I have not actually bought anything there yet so I don't know how customer service is . Also nice to know they have vintage import vehicles .
Had I what I was looking for, the parts appear to be working well even though it’s only been 2 days since I installed the radiator. The alternator I will put on when I absolutely need to. Half priced from being new. Service is quick. Nothing bad to say. Just worth 4 stars imho. I would have to find another place to compare it to.
Called about a bumper assembly that was advertised on Car-Part, said it was available but was going to confirm it's good and call me back. Called 4 hours later and they were "too busy" to check it out yet. My repair business is 2 hours away and I was going to their town for another purpose and figured I'd grab the bumper while in town. So I called again to see if they had an update. Nothing. Too busy still. I decided to drop in while I was in Joplin to see if it was good to go. I walk in and there's a man at the counter sitting around and zero customers. Looked "real busy..." Not.. I asked about the bumper and was told it's trashed, unsellable. Well today I get back on Car-Part in search for a bumper, guess what, they updated the same bumper for sale with 'plastic cover torn".I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT AS IS. All I needed was the chrome. I buy a lot of parts owning an auto repair business. I'll definitely look over their advertised parts in the future.
I bought a truck bed for a 1997 toyota t100. They wouldnt let me walk back alone so one of their employees took me back and told me what beds would fit. I picked out a bed brought it home and it is not the right size. I have called numerous times and they always tell me they will call me back and i never recieve a call. Pretty dissapointing to spend 800 bucks on a truck bed only to be screwed
George and the staff saved the life of my truck. They have gone above and beyond anyplace I have ever had to deal with period. Without hesitation they got the parts going knew what I needed. This is the best salvage yard
I am disabled and Had a issue with a damaged fender they sold me. It was a little bit of a hassle but they came through and refunded my money. I will definitely do more business with these guy in the future.
We called Meyers at midday for a part for a 1996 Toyota Rav 4 we could find anywhere in central Missouri. He looked up the part, wrapped it, gave us an exact amount including shipping, and even got it shipped the same day! We received it the next day and was able to get it installed. I'd deal with them again in a heartbeat!
Wants to low ball people on cars he buys from them to make top dollar on parts but wont pay till next day and refuses to take legit papers showing ownership of the car
Called about an A/C cap on my ‘07 Ford Focus. Was just straight up told that he’s got orders ahead it’s not worth his time. How can you run a business when you tell customers they aren’t worth your time?
This was my first time there, and it was a nice experience. Called ahead to find a rim for my sons car. He said he would locate it, which he did and promptly called me back and confirmed he had it. When I got there my part was pulled and waiting at the counter. And in my opinion, $50 for an aluminum rim isn’t unreasonable.
Really terrible service! I was yelled at by the manager or owner maybe to leave if I wasn’t going to buy anything. Complete trash place & way over priced. Go to KLQ in front and they’ll treat you with respect. Don’t go there!
I got quoted a price over the phone by one sales rep and a price nearly double that from a different sales rep a few days later after I drove an hour to pick up my parts. The sales rep that quoted me the inflated price turned into a total dick once I mentioned the price difference and when I tried to negotiate things got even worse. It was obviously a simple misunderstanding between the two sales people and didn't need to turn into this dude getting all pissed off and turning into a total dick. I've bought LOTS of parts from this place over the years but this was and will be my last visit. Fortunately for me there's tons of other salvage yards in the area....I ended up saving about $275 on the front clip I was buying by getting my parts at PAYLESS salvage in Butterfield (Cassville) Mo. It was a little out of my way but easily worth the drive to save that kinda money.
Found the part on the web, ordered the part thru the phone and since I live 2 hours away, they saved the part for me and I picked it up a week later. Just as the web description and the requested pictures showed, the part was in great condition. The service was great and the price was good too. Would definitely keep them in my list when searching for parts in the future.
Was decent priced parts bought few parts for little more then half what it cost new, then ask for prices on other parts told me a very decent price when i showed up for those it went up nearly triple what they told me on the phone.... heck the Parts i wanted was cheaper New then what they wanted.. SMH learn Business every dollar counts but repeat business is the best.
I was sold a after market back window for my newer truck. Wasn't made aware of it until the local installer showed me how poorly it would look. I returned it was told no refund......they quickly turned rude, down right mean.
I found a hood for my '82 Chevy C10, and it was the right color and had no rust or any dents to speak of. Looks like they have nice variety of inventory and their website was easy to use for parts searching. I didn't rate 5 stars because I called several times and I couldn't get a hold of anyone during business hours. Nobody followed up to my email from the day before. Other than that I have no complaints at all!
I would actually give them negative stars! She was very rude when i called them looking for a 05 mustang door panel and would not let me look at the part before i purchased it. Then proceed to hang up on me after i was trying to get her to explain why i couldn't see it. rude rude rude!!!!
Great people. Cheap and they actually had what I needed! Even the same trim color. Would recommend to everyone. They were quick at finding the parts, and actually knew what they had in their yard. Other yards have told me, "We might have the vehicle, go look," and I'd have to go search for it, but here they escort you through the yard and you help them find what you need. Great place, will definitely go back for parts for my car.
