Very upset with their customer service. They told my husband that they had some wheels for my daughters car and I get there to them not having them after driving 45 minutes to get there and then not even getting an apology or anything.
Well, their prices are high. I was told they take the cool springs off the pick up as soon as I called a couple hours it took all day. Had to call four times and it wasn’t they were busy. They are very unorganized and don’t have good yard help
When I found out how much it is to fix my car, stress and anxiety almost got the best of me. There was no way we could pay what the mechanic needed to fix the car. We decided to call around to salvage yards. I tell you, Tri-State is amazing. I've had nothing but good experience over the phone. They are helpful, kind and understanding. The stress has left, I am deeply appreciated to them. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you!!
They had the parts I was looking for at a reasonable price. Walked in and they were able to have the parts pulled within 20 minutes. They even loaded them into my vehicle. Definitely will go back.
We went all the way from Talala America to Joplin Missouri to pick up a transmission so far so good still might put it in the vehicle so we will let you know in about 90 to 60 days

I called for a part and they were rude on the phone and how do they know they didn’t have my part without looking on computer sounds like laziness to me worthless business would not recommend going there
Drove 2 hours to get a low mile (60k) transmission from them. Ran the vin # on it and found it had over 100k miles more than they said it did. Called them and they said they accidentally gave me the wrong one. Went back and swapped it and ran the Vin again and it was more than 100+k than what they said. Called and they told me " We don't check the vin numbers on them so we don't know the actual miles..." Wasted my time trying to sell junk cores for high prices. I will never ever buy from them again. At least I did get a refund. Remember to CARFAX the VIN #'s guys!!!
Needed a bolt to get my truck on the road. Needed it today and dealer couldn't get until tomorrow. These guys had it and charged me 6x the cost of a new one from the dealer. If they didn't want my business they should have told me to kick rocks. Never again, screw me once shame on you...
It was ok but the guy who loaded up the motor i purchased use the intake as a hold for the forklift i will be upset if the intake is cracked which i suspect it is
Nathan is personable, and very fair on prices he has the best salvage operation in Joplin, my dad bought parts from his dad at Larry meadows salvage for years and Nathan runs an honest and strait forward business I will continue to do business for years, best in Joplin!
Every time I have been here I have been treated like a piece of dirt on the bottom of their shoe. Their attitudes are horrible, especially the ones sitting at the counter. If you want to have a successful business, try learning how to speak to people in a friendly way and not so condescending. I will not ever return and will not recommend this place to anyone, regardless if it were the last parts place around.
I picked up a Silver door for my Kia that had been previously damaged! They took payment over the phone and I had asked for a receipt they did not have a way of doing so told me to just tell them my name so that made me feel edgy! When I came to pick it up I didn't have to show ID just said I'm here to pick up Kia door! When walking out to get the door it was sitting on the ground covered in dust and the door was absolutely filthy and covered in black almost mold lookin stuff. I asked the guy if I could get it off he says yes by scrubbing and then didn't ask to help load he walked back inside. Extremely disappointed because i spent $320 on something they didn't care to take care of!!!
