Fair prices and they do a good job of walking you through the issues without pressure. They helped me get my car back on the road without the extra work another shop said I had to have. Definitely recommend and will use again
This is my first choice for car repairs in Lee’s Summit. Blake has always been very honest, friendly, and has went above and beyond explaining the problem and repairs needed. Would highly recomend him to anyone!

Women. Beware. I called about making and appointment to get my air-conditioning fixed and in the midst of explaining what has been replaced already by another shop. This man was rude and was like wrll.whhat makes you think this ornthat? And then he said well.i never hrard of that problem on a car like.your before.... I was belittled and practically argued with... just looking for good service. I was referred to Virgils, but feel Punked. Therr really is nothing like bad customer service thanks Virgils
These are my go-to guys for honest mechanics who know what they're doing. They are the only place in town I would recommend. They're busy, so plan ahead and be patient, and kind. It's worth it.
Blake is the best! My Veloster took a beating from the horrible roads in Indiana, pot holes everywhere. Front end had a noise that it didn't have before and the check engine light keeps coming on. Blake did an amazing job of trouble shooting the issues and fixed it. Drives like brand new ! I would take my car anywhere else. Very reasonable and extremely honest and gives a thorough explanation of what is happening to the car.
Blake and his team are great honest people they do what needs to be done. They are also understanding and helpful definitely would recommend. As a women might be hard going to a garage and worry about someone up charging you, but I can assure you these are such honest and genuine people.
I drive a 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
I first went to Virgil's due to a malfunctioning blend door actuator, which had a quick fix by the crew there.
A few months later I had a critical engine failure. I called up the garage in the moment of experiencing this, and Blake talked me through what it could be while I pulled my dying vehicle to what could have been it's final resting place.
After getting the Jeep towed in, Blake openly discussed options and was very candid about next steps. As I love my Jeep and always anticipated keeping it as long as possible, I opted for an entirely new engine kit. It wasn't cheap, but I know the price was competitive, and Blake and his crew kept me informed the whole way through.
Today I had my follow-up engine check, and my machine is singing.
I can feel the difference in the drive, and know the Jasper engine they installed is a significant upgrade backed by a solid warranty. I also know Blake went out of his way to provide me back with the parts I had previously purchased that were since replaced by the full engine kit.
I highly recommend these folks, and I'd be happy to return in the future for any other vehicle issues. In fact, they also fixed up my 2003 Honda Pilot in the interim while I saved for the Jeep repairs.
Plus they've got a cool shop cat. Cheers to Ace.

Looking for a shop you can trust with your vehicle and your wallet? Virgil’s is your shop! These guys know their stuff and they won’t try to get you to fix things that don’t need fixing. Solid, honest mechanics and their sidekick, the garage attack cat (he used to attack with violence, now he attacks with snuggles because these guys have shown him love and care and he knows he’s the real boss now). I’ll never take my car anywhere else except for tires, and that’s only because they don’t do tires.

Fantastic service. Price was very fair and the work was done well and expeditiously. Communication was great throughout. We won't be taking our vehicles anywhere else.
Took Ford Fusion with dead electric power steering in. Prepaired to spend $3,600+ to replace unit, a common complaint with this type car. Virgil's found rodent chewed wires and repaired for under $500. Great to have honest people you can trust to work on your car.
I’ve been going there Since the original Virgil’s Garage in downtown Lee’s Summit. . Always good services and prices. Always check with them first when getting any repairs done to your vehicles.
We've been going to Virgil's for a couple of years now. These are proficient mechanics who really know their stuff. Just from my (horrible) descriptions of problems, they are often able to give me an idea what might be happening. They check and re-check everything to make sure they have the correct problem, then call with a fair price. The price they quote is the price I've paid, every time. I've never had to come back for the same problem, either.
Very happy with this shop, and I'll continue using it for many years to come.

If you live in Lee's Summit then you need to know that Virgils is the very best place to take your vehicle. Blake is a breath of fresh air. He is honest and fair and is not looking to take advantage of people.
My family and I have been coming to virgil's for years, and every time I'm treated with respect and honesty! Blake has worked on a lot of different things for our family and everytime its done correctly and they always notify me if they see anything else that's wrong or wore out. I recommend virgil's to anyone wanting a trustworthy place to get there car work done!

I can see myself coming to Virgil's for years to come. Staff was pleasant and they they were honest and didn't charge me for services I didn't need. Even better they gave my vehicle a once over like I asked and only charged me the $12 for the vin/od document I needed. I live nearby and would rather give my business to a shop like this than anywhere else.

Really intended for this to be my first stop shop, but they don't help with customer supplied parts, even simple breakpads/rotors. Will update this review with an alternative location for customers to go to when running into my situation.

FYI, go to the Auto Clinic if you have the parts, they will charge a $75 fee + labor, if they don't fit and need to put things back. As long as you get the correct parts, your good and just pay labor.
Virgil's fixed two separate issues that two other garages failed to address. I can't say enough about what a relief it was to get such great service. Thank you so much for the high quality work you all provide.
Blake and his team are genuine experts and extremely honest! They were very helpful and took the time to explain things to me whereas most shops would not. Places like this are increasingly hard to find and I recommend them highly.
My wife and her family have been using Virgils for years and have had nothing but good things to say. The only garage I’ll take my vehicles too. Blake is is a good honest mechanic. I found them on yelp and since then they’ve been taking care of my vehicles.
I feel that Virgil's has always been honest with us!! We have had quite a bit of work done at their garage and they have always been great to work with and they don't talk down to you!! We love Virgil's and would recommend them to anyone!!!
He admitted AFTER to not knowing how to work on my subaru, then when changing the clutch reinstallation was wrong, has improper mix burned a hole in the piston of my 6500k engine.. then after I DIDNT sue him, he refused to make good and work on other cars..subaru motor bad, hick customer service, priced accordingly with quality of work.
Blake and his team are great. I've been using them for a while now because of their reliability, customer service, and accurate quotes. They saved me $700 off what my dealership wanted for a timing belt service and new brakes. My family will be using them from now on!
