Well, i called this company and they sent Troy out right after 10' of snow - he said he was eating lunch and will be right out - he was there 15 minutes later - him and his assistant were nice, friendly and fast. Great help
Elijah arrived within minutes of me calling dispatch. He was very careful with my car and patient with me even after I got my car stuck a 2nd time. He also took the time to explain the easiest way to keep from getting stuck a 3rd time. We don’t have this weather in Texas so it was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
They recovered a motorcycle for me that had gone down in the highway median. They were careful both loading it, and unloading it and charged me what I considered a fair price.
I see them around Oak Grove, and I will be going to speed limit, 35mph, and the driver will speed around me, weaving in and out of traffic, nearly hitting other cars with his large truck. Such reckless driving, I would never trust them. Once is one thing, but I’ve had this happen multiple times.
Clearly this company has issues with reckless driving. Pulled up behind me, barreling down Blue Ridge Cutoff, turns on flashing blue and reds like it's an emergency vehicle. I watched it then pull up to an intersection and do the same so he didn't have to sit through a red light. Absolutely irresponsible, would never use their tow services.
Was riding a motorcycle and they pulled out in front of me and stopped in the middle of the road almost killing me. Called to complain and they did nothing to the driver for almost killing me. I wasn't speeding and he could very clearly see me as he made eye contact with me.
Sally, our car was stolen on September 15 from my Airbnb. It was totaled and we had to go and pick up our things from our totaled vehicle at Ron’s auto and truck towing. It was definitely disappointing on our last day but I greatly appreciate that we were able to pick up our belongings.
Got a tow at O-dark 30. The had to wake him up, but when he got here my car was on the hook ij mins. The ride back to warrensburg was quick. Even dropped me off at my house after he dropped car at the shop. Would recommend giving them a call!
Apparently this is the tow service that LPD uses. I was in an accident which resulted in my car needing towed. I’m not sure how the tow went itself but it took me so long to find where my vehicle was actually delivered to. There was zero communication with this tow company when they picked up, dropped off, or where my vehicle was even delivered to. I can’t believe the stress it takes to locate your own vehicle. I haven’t heard a single thing from this company since but I wouldn’t choose them as my top choice for a tow ever again.
Unprofessional as can possibly be. Was standing outside the KCPD on prospect cussing out a police officer telling him they don't do their job and "this is why you cops keep getting killed". I'm shocked they weren't arrested. Then drove off in their company branded truck. Now I know who to never use.
Driver who lives in my neighborhood drives way too fast...kids and pets around. Have repeatedly asked to slow down but doesn't. Also as vengeance he just recently after our heavy rain purposely drove in my yard, leaving giant dual ruts that I can't mow around! Had to be him because no one else on our road has dual wheels. Please boycott this business, owner won't help either.
Had a no-start condition in a snow storm earlier this year, came right out and towed to dealership. $180, I would recommend for anybody east of Lee's Summit, (rural).
My husband and I were in a car wreck this morning and the car wasn't drivable. The tow truck driver, Johnny, after loading the car onto the tow truck was sensitive enough to ask if we had a ride..which we didn't and gave us a ride home. AND then returned back later with a few valuables from the car. Thank you Johnny!!
Ron has always gone above and beyond when I needed to call for help. Today I was at work and had a radiation patient who locked his keys in his car. I called and they had someone out ASAP!! I cant thank Ron enough for always coming to the rescue!

We were in a car accident on 35W while traveling home to Minnesota from AZ. Our car was not driveable so we needed a tow and we were very lucky to get JR to assist us. We needed a rental car and JR helped us call rental agencies for over an hour to try to find one with none available for two days. So we had to get a hotel room and JR took us to the hotel and helped us unload our car onto the hotel carts(and we were packed to the max after spending the winter in AZ). JR helped to make a horrible day better with his kindness to us!
Ron's picked up my stolen car early last Wednesday morning I called them to come pick it up and they were very helpful over the phone with all my questions once I got there unfortunately the ding bat that stole my car had screwed it up pretty good but it was still some what drivable I couldn't figure out how to get it started since the key thing was completely gone the tow truck drive/ yard work were able to help me get it going with no problem and we're even more happy to help me get it home if we couldn't get it to start all and all the tow and storage fees cost me $110 which is completely unheard of for other companies from what I've been told big thanks to everyone there that helped me get my car home safe and sound!
This tow truck driver came onto northbound 49/71 this morning in Grandview and began speeding and weaving through lanes. I was in the third lane (fast lane) and he got behind me and was a foot from my bumper the entire time. As the owner of a trucking company myself, I would want to know if I had a driver like this so I could counsel him.
We got our truck super stuck. Like, how-did-you -even-do-that stuck. The couple of places we called before Ron's didn't have anything capable of getting to it. Johnny took it as a personal challenge to get our truck out safely. He didn't have the right truck himself, but made sure the right one made it to us and was as polite as could be. Huge thanks and shout out to everyone there who helped!
Discourteous and rude flatbed driver (white bald guy with goatee). He'll block the road talking to his buddy while sitting by the highway ready to chase wrecks. Driver made rude gestures and shouted obscenities after I calmly waited for them to move so I could get home.
Had the BEST experience with Ron’s towing! They arrived on scene only 10 minutes after we called for help. Proficient, professional and compassionate service. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone, anytime! Thank you Ron’s!
My vehicle was totaled the week of Christmas, and everyone at this company helped me with the difficult situation. JR came to pick up my vehicle, and ensured everyone stayed as safe as possible roadside. He then was very transparent with pricing and next steps. He made me feel very comfortable with pricing in case the bill was not covered by my insurance. A few days later, I had to request my car be towed from the lot to my driveway. JR sent someone over drop off my car ASAP, despite them being busy. Joe was able to leave my car for me and Calvin took a payment over the phone from me. They made everything very easy. I appreciated them during such a stressful time!
I called this company when my lifted truck broke down on 435 at Holmes. Not only were they there in an extraordinary fast time, but it'very professional courteous and safe as well. Best tow service in the kc area. I’ve used this company multiple times and they always show up immediately. The most recent time I called Calvin, he had a driver at my location within 4 minutes. A+++
Do not use this company. They are wreck chasers. Refuse them if you see them at the scene of your accident. They towed my vehicle on a Sunday to their shop, not to the collision shop that I asked. They also didn't ask for the key. I called them on Monday morning as soon as they opened to tell them to keep the car there, due to my auto insurance company coming to pick it up. They said that's fine and I can come anytime to get my belongings. I told them I would be there the next day. Again, I was told that is fine and come anytime during business hours. I drove all the way to LONE JACK MO (yes its out in the middle of nowhere) to drop off the key the drive never asked for and to retrieve my personal belongings from the car. Well well well, that's when I found out they moved the car to another location! Then they wrote down an address and told me, "It's there now. Nothing else I can do." The girl behind the plexiglass in the Morton building shop was very nasty and told me she wasn't the one who took my call and couldn't do anything about it. Absolutely unprofessional business and staff. No updated computer database. Just some girl making calls to the personal cell phones of drivers and taking notes on paper. Take your business elsewhere!

Ron's towing was very patient with our very young, very inexperienced teen driver, who was upset about his car breaking down! He even helped to fix the gravel driveway before he towed the car. Phone was answered promptly and the service was professional. Will use again. :) Thank you.
Never used them for a tow but their drivers will run you off the road. I was on 50 highway and their driver was about to merge on the hiway, I couldn't get over and he speed up and was driving on the shoulder kicking up rocks to get in front of me. When merging on the hiway their should yeid to the traffic.
Update. I did call the day it happened. The person that answered the phone said they would report it to management.
