First time leaving a review (wish they had zero stars), but McCarthy really outdid themselves, so I thought I should warn others. My first experience was at their body shop over the summer. They had our truck for over 2 months for hail damage and we had to return 3 additional times to fix items they broke while they had it. Good thing I took photos of the original interior condition, as they tried to deny it all. I decided to give them a second chance at the Jeep dealer for service since we own 3 Chrysler vehicles and it's convenient to stay in Lee's Summit. The service department under the old Lee's Summit Dodge/Jeep was poor (probably why they got bought out by McCarthy), but these guys really take the cake. I had my vehicle in multiple times with different service advisors for a simple window repair. Mind you, I had to ask them daily for updates the whole time. After having it for 2 separate occasions totaling 7 days, turns out they didn't even order the part After telling me literally the day before to bring vehicle back in, didn't even touch that day and then next day that the vehicle would be done by noon. I showed up at 5pm and the part was never ordered. Again, no call from them the whole time to even tell us this. They wanted me to come back... again and would order the now "backordered" part, mind you again its not on backorder as I already checked OEM. They would now cover labor but they quoted me $200 over entire original quote. Guess they needed to cover labor so they said part cost was much more then original price. Hmmmm. Guess they forgot we already ran price of just the part costs. Worst of all of this, while "discussing" this with the advisor, the service manager was apparently too busy to come out and get involved, could not believe the lack of customer service—he just stared through the window. I won't even get into further details, but just wanted to share my experience so you all can make up your own mind whether to buy or have anything serviced by this group.

On 1/30/26 I purchased a New 2026 Jeep Compass And I absolutely love it And the 72 Month Warranty All the Staff members that helped with the processing were Amazing And My salesman Jeff Daniels worked hard and getting me the right payment plan And he is a Super Nice Guy ! And did a fantastic job ! I highly recommend him for your Salesman And I highly recommend McCarty Jeep Ram Chrysler Dodge

We had an amazing experience with Alyssa buying our truck. She’s very knowledgeable about the vehicles and easy to talk to and get along with. She even came in on her day off to accommodate us. Very straight forward and place, no bull crap. When we asked what the out the door price was before we even started they were upfront and gave us that number straight away. Will definitely come back when we’re ready to get that Durango SRT!

Excellent experience all around. Fair trade and fair deal! Worked quickly and was in and out far faster than other dealers. Not a lot of haggling. They came in VERY competitive right off the bat. 100% recommend!

I went to the Jeep service department to get my car fixed, and the customer service was absolutely amazing. Sean and another gentleman (a Marine—I wish I remembered his name) went above and beyond for me.
I don’t know much about cars, and everything was explained to me in the best way possible—clear, patient, and without making me feel uncomfortable or talked down to. My appointment was scheduled for Thursday, but my car was finished by Wednesday. They made sure I wasn’t left stranded, and that meant a lot to me.
I’ve always shopped around for the best price when it comes to repairs, but moving forward, I’ll be doing all my repairs here. Exceptional service matters to me, and this experience truly delivered. As a woman, I felt respected, taken care of, and valued. I absolutely loved that.Jan 09, 2026 -

Kaleeb Shanklin was absolutely amazing. I walked straight up to him outside and said "im in a pickle" his words were, "let's get you out of it". Here I am now with a brand new car no hassle, and nothing but good teamwork from my salesman and the financing department. Mr. Jonathan Evans(in financing) was answering questions and insuring I was protecting me and my assests to the fullest. So happy I drove my old tires on their lot and pulling of with my new ones and a smile on my face.

My experience here was not good to say the least. I recently purchased a car about a week ago and have had problem after problem with it. The actuators have been going out/moving in the wrong directions for the HVAC, the front knocks, the seatbelt alarms aren't calibrated and continually go off with little to no weight on the seats, the speakers put off a high pitch wine occasionally, the speakers also seem to switch from being quiet in volume some days to being normal on other days. At this point I'm just worried something else is going to go wrong each day, especially since my job requires me to drive often. On top of everything else, the dealer was only able to go down a couple hundred dollars from asking price at the cost of having no warranty whatsoever. I do not feel as if they actually care for the customer at all and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Excellent buying experience here with Derek and the team at McCarthy CDJR. I havent bought a car in several years and was very anxious upon arrival, as I knew my trade was high mileage and may not fetch a very good price. However, Derek and the managers here really listened to what I wanted out of my next car, and were adherent to budget parameters I gave them. Overall, this process was much faster and much less nerve wracking than I expected walking in. I am thankful to have given them a shot because it ended up being a smooth and easy process and I went home with a great deal on a preowned Outback.

Shawn Seigel is by far the best service rep they have. I have followed him to three different dealerships now. Overall the dealership in whole are quick to stand behind the products and warranties they sell. The General Manager, Joe Balsamo takes the time to address the customers concerns and is quick to deliver a solution that meets the customers needs. They had my car back up and running in under 24 hours. Hands down this is the best dealership experience I have ever had. I highly recommend!!

I had a really great experience at McCarthy buying a new car. The team was professional, friendly and incredibly helpful. The General Manager, Joe, even made a point to stop by during the process and introduce himself. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and takes pride in creating a great experience. The whole staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth, clear, and stress-free. As a woman shopping for a car on my own, I’m always a little cautious walking into a dealership, but Joe and his team were the complete opposite of pushy. They were transparent through every step, and never once made me feel taken advantage of. The pricing on my new Jeep and my trade-in was fair, straightforward, and better than what I was offered elsewhere. I highly recommend McCarthy!

In my opinion the service department is extremely poor. I had a recall and they performed the work. Shortly afterward started getting an intermittent error message on the instrument cluster. They looked at it had it in the shop the first time and told that they couldn't find anything wrong, but they reset some component. The problem continued. Took it back again and the service rep did a quick diagnostic with the error message showing. Again nothing wrong and said the a voltage surge could cause error messages to pop. Third time I took it in again the error message in the cluster. Told me that had finally had a fix for the problem and did a reset. The next day error message was back on. I call the service rep twice, no answer. I left a message, no reply. I left a message for the service manager. No reply. I used to get my oil changed and tires rotated there. Not any more. They have lost all my business.

I went in there with the purpose of getting a new jeep. Ran into some problems but Taylor did her magic and so did Derek Nicole was amazing with clearing and getting our vehicles ready for us. The experience was great. But with Nicole handling the vehicles and Taylor doing what she does best it all came together and we got our new vehicles. The finance team was amazing. Paperwork was a lil off but we caught it in time and they fixed it Derek was a chill guy but again they made it work and it worked out for us they took really good care of us. Even tho they didn't have to they stayed after hours to get us those vehicles do I recommend them yes. Don't think about go there and get your new car

Purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee last night with Jeff Daniels. A truly AMAZING experience all the way around. Didn't have allot of time. He was able to do a lot by text and had everything ready when we arrived last evening. Even talked us through construction does and stayed on the phone with us till we safely arrived. Jeff is simply the BEST. The finance guy was phenomenal as well. Both were very professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind with all of our questions even though it was after 7pm closing time. If you need a vehicle, we would highly recommend JEFF DANIELS and McCarthy Jeep. They all go above and beyond!

The entire staff at this location was incredible! Easy to work with and very responsive to any and all questions! Mellissa our saleswoman was an absolute delight. Very personable and extremely responsive to messages even when not working. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She went above and beyond for us and is the only reason I purchased not 1 but 2 vehicles from them within 5 days! Even the finance department Jordan and Kevin were amazing. Educated and knowledgeable with any concerns or questions we had!! You would be doing yourself a disservice if you bought any Dodge, Chrysler or Jeep product from anyone other than them!

I came in a few weeks ago for an oil change and an oil leak, my concern was that there was oil leaking from the PCV hose going to the air box and all over my filter and intake. The service writer wanted to argue with me, told me he's not gonna waste their time because it wasn't actively leaking and that I needed to put an after-market oil catch can on my vehicle that has less than 18,000 miles. I went to a different dealership and they fixed it without question. Whereas this dealership refused to fix the issue and told me that nothing was wrong with it. Pictures below.

This all started with 3 simple fixes to my car. Just to get it diagnosed took 2 days when I was told it should only take 1 day by my service advisor Greg. Well then it was time to get it fixed my husband went to pick it up because after last time I just felt unheard by anyone and it was scratched on the paint and center console broken hood lack and didn’t change the oil. I spoke with Joe the GM when Dillon wouldn’t answer my phone calls or was told he was to busy for me and he just made me feel so stupid for feeling unsafe about my hood lack being broken as it moved around freely on my floor bored as it was still connected to the cable. Dillon the service manger who would NEVER talked to me till today when I went to pick up my car from being fixed from there damaged As I picked my car up Dillon said that I need to have my husband give a 5 star review and I had to inform him AGAIN that my husband doesn’t have a single thing with it and has been informed about that already as it’s my car and not his, making me feel unheard once again and May I add my scratch aren’t even all fix so now I have to pay out of my own pocket to get it fixed so I know it’s done right

I was just looking to upgrade on my 2017 jeep wrangle. I walked into the showroom. I met met with Derrick he was very polite and knowledgeable. I told him what I was looking for and what price range I could manage. I saw saw a jeep I absolutely loved on the showroom floor a little out of my price range but somehow he was able to get it close to were I needed to be and bam I'm now driving the jeep I've always dreamed of having! Serice counter representative was rude and seemed annoyed. Expressed that now I would be charged 180.00 to clear a code that service department told me the evening prior "Would be no problem and no charge to clear" while I was in the dealership buying the part they advised. When informed of whom I had spoken with the evening prior he replied, "That's too bad". 10/10 do not recommend. On a positive note the Chevrolet dealership right down the road was willing to clear the code for no charge and with a better attitude.

I just want to take a moment to thank Malissa for everything she did in helping me get my dream car. As someone who’s freshly out of high school and still young, I was nervous about the whole process, but Malissa was there for me every step of the way. What really stood out to me is how she was willing to risk her day off to help me get everything set up. She was so patient and kind, never rushing me through any part of the process.
One thing I really appreciated was how she made sure I didn’t sign anything until my mom had a chance to speak with her about the plan. That extra care and attention made me feel really comfortable and supported. I’m honestly so glad it was Malissa who helped me purchase this beautiful Charger. She went above and beyond, and I feel really lucky to have met her.
Malissa is more than just a salesperson; she’s like a mentor to me. She gave me some great advice on what to focus on as I start out and how to build from here. It wasn’t just about making the sale for her—it was about setting me up for success in the long run. On top of that, she’s just really cool and made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.

It was good for the most part there are some things to be fixed on the truck I purchased. I was assured issues would be fixed and parts were ordered and they would be getting the parts installed as soon as possible.
