If you want to call them every week informing them that your trash wasn’t picked up then this is the company for you! Either they “forget” to pick up your recycling or they “forget” to pick up your trash. So glad I don’t have to deal with this company anymore after this month.
Absolutely the worst service company. If rating could be a -5 star that would be giving them too much credit.
They have not picked up our trash, nor the neighborhood in two weeks!
And even worse, this isn’t the first time.
But it’s definitely our last!
I highly recommend you look else where for trash service. Poor customer service. I decided to cancel my service and they insisted they charge me a $45 cancelation because they had to send a special truck to pick it up and someone to clean it. Well the regular route truck picked it up and destroyed the whole container. It was in good clean condition but still said heartland on it. I wouldn't trust a company that will charge you to destroy their own property. AAA has been good to my neighbors and that is the route I am going.
Can I say 0 stars? Didn't realize what hell on earth I signed up for when I went with this company. So many missed pickups. I don't even know when they are coming to get my cans after canceling or if I'll ever get my money back like I asked. Im livid
IF they bother to show up, they dump trash all over our yards and streets. Tired of being held hostage by scam companies willing to underbid on contracts. Do your jobs.
Increased rates for a lot of missed pick-ups, so I'm cancelling services. Bill went from $60's to $120's (prepaid 3 mo) over the past couple of years. Trash is picked up maybe 2/3rd of the time. Most of the time, when they do pick-up, it is a day or two later.
SIX missed pickups. 4 weeks of no pick up. 4 scheduled. 2 rescheduled. They never returned.. Stay away! My complaint is the same as everyone else. Simply brutal service.
Truck literally just drove down my street and turned around and left, for the 3rd week in a row. Is this not a public health concern with all the trash piled up everywhere? Workers must be on strike or something due to terrible management.
For as expensive as this trash company is the service is absolutely awful. For months now at our old and new house they constantly miss our scheduled day and when I call about it I’m met with an attitude. I do not recommend this business!! Take your business elsewhere if you don’t want your trash piling up and not getting picked up!! I tried giving them grace but after a while it just makes me mad!! If I could give zero stars I would
Several times they don’t pick up the trash. Then when you call to schedule a missed pickup, they miss that one too. Don’t waste your time with this company. Worst trash service I’ve ever seen.
Customer service sounded like they were outside with wind blowing, for months they refused to accept the check payment sent in despite the cleared check from bank.
They haven’t picked my trash up in 4 weeks!!! I have called them over and over and was told they would be here the next day. Still no show and they are still charging me for it! DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!!!
This company hires dangerous drivers. One tried to run my family and I off the highway on an overpass and proceeded to flip me off when I laid on my horn as I had no place to go and they weren't paying attention with their driving.
The absolute worst trash company I’ve ever experienced!! Don’t waste your money, they rarely picked up our trash on the day they was supposed to and would never take the extra bags even if we paid for it. I canceled them a couple weeks ago and asked them to pick up their container that I’ve had sitting out for a while now and they never do the date for pick up has changed 3 times now. Seriously don’t go with them!!
Terrible service. We are regularly attempting (and not succeeding) to contact them (on the next day) to get our trash picked up. Hope we can get out of using them in our neighborhood.
Here’s our recycling bin which has been sitting waiting for pick up since Tuesday — it is now Sunday. We have called multiple times and it is still full. So we are paying for a service and not receiving it. In addition the dirt you see is from the driver digging the cans into the ground when he puts them down. He was also very rude when I asked him if he could take a cardboard box that didn’t fit in the can. This is not the first time we have had pick up issues with them. We will be looking for a new service.
Do not use this comapny. They will not pick up your trash, answer phone calls or help you. Heartland waste was a great company and we never had any issues. Republic doesn't pick up on the day they say or even weekly. Currently 3 weeks with out trash pick up. If you want to get ahold of the Warrensburg Mo location you have to keep calling back too back roughly 25-50 times. They are there belive it or not watching the phone ring. If you want a credit on your bill for the lack of service you need to call the Independence mo location and report Non pick -ups evey time it's not picked up. If you do not they will not do anything about your bill.Independence Mo office is very helpful. Good luck.
I hate this company so much. Been with them about three months and constantly have to call because they don’t pick up some portion of the trash. You call and they say somebody will be there by 6 tomorrow night and it doesn’t happen. I’ve been written up by my HOA because cans are out for days. DO NOT USE THEM! It will not be a good experience.
Trash has not been picked up in 3 weeks. Extremely rude when calling to see when it will be resolved. Zero apologies have been given when I have called up there over the last 3 weeks.
What a nightmare. We just wanted to cancel service and go with Teds, because the rate was so much better with no hidden fees. They wouldn't refund any unused portion, and to add insult to injury, they charged $60 to pick up their containers. We will never again recommend them to anyone in our community. The service representative was rude and uncaring, and gave us a corporate phone number that didn't work. Never again. Stay local, lesson learned.
Frequent missed pickups and we've caught them throwing recycling in with the regular trash multiple times. This week was extra special. They missed mine and my neighbor's trash on Thursday. They came back on Friday to get theirs but still skipped us. Total headache dealing with these guys but there don't seem to be any good alternatives. Call your city reps and ask them to make waste a city contract.
For the 3 weeks that I had service they never picked up my trash like scheduled. First time they did not pick up services because the arrows on the lid were not pointed the correct way. The second week they said I still did not have the arrow on the lid pointing the correct way so the driver took a picture but still did not pick the trash up. After that I was frustrated with the service so I asked for it to be cancelled. They said they would pick up the trash can the next day. Next day it was still not picked up so I called and they said the can was not placed on the curb correctly so they were not able to pick it up. Drivers are very picky on pick up and if the trash cans are not correct they refuse to pick them up and just take pictures. Was not a great experience for a new customer!! Would not do business again!
