While the gentleman was nice he told me they had four wheels available and I drove over an hour to pick one up only to be told they can’t find any of them. Wasted over two hours of my time and fuel. Extremely disappointed, he knew I was driving to come get the wheel and should have checked before telling me to drive over.
This place has reasonable prices and a great selection for my truck. Recommended by my local LKQ, they took me around the selections they had available in their lot with the lot rep/parts picker person, and allowed me to select what I wanted from what they had.
I came for a bumper and grill. I didn’t find the exact model I have, but the bumper I did find has beefy tow hooks which makes my truck look even cooler!!
Now it has a ‘custom’ look to it even if it isn’t an ‘original’ look anymore.
If I’d been more prepared with a better list, I could have gotten a few other parts and offered a lump sum deal I think.
In any case, I’ll check with them first in the future. It was worth the drive from Joplin.
If I’d called them up first I would have thought, yeah, doesn’t sound like they have my part, and I would have lost out on the opportunity.
As it is, there is a section that will have to be sanded and painted to match my truck to look right, but I think the overall finished effect was worth it!!
The only thing that could have made it better is a painted grill instead of chrome, but it’s miles better than a broken grill.
The parts were pulled with everything necessary for installation and took very little time as a novice to these things. Not saying that’s always the case, but claiming they try to make sure the parts are easily usable.
I had a small conversation with the parts puller who was extremely knowledgeable about what was on the lot and clearly loved his job. The lot definitely needs to hold on to him as he’s a great credit to the business. Friendly, professional, super helpful, even timely about pulling parts as well as making sure he got everything. Great service!!
Not well managed, be specific about the part you ask for and make them check to confirm the part you want is actually there. I called from joplin, a 1 hr+ drive, talked to Brian and gave him the vehicle info including the exact part I wanted. He told me he had 2 of the parts I requsted and priced them. I arrived and discovered all he looked up was the vehicle, he never confirmed the part I needed was still in lt or even there and in discovering this didn't care one bit." Typically" the guy that actually does all the work, (the yard guy) was very apologetic and sincere. To the owner If you read this, Brian is costing you money and is a liability to your reputation.

I heard from a local salvage that Meadows might have the wheel I’m looking for.
I called yesterday, Friday, at 1212 and spoke with Brian. He confirmed they had what I was looking for (in their system, but would physically check and call back). I was interested in the condition before purchasing. He told me the pic he has looks good. I trusted him.
At 1324 Brian called back and confirmed everything. The price was good, he computed tax and shipping. We made the deal and he said it will ship that day.
I expected it to arrive early next week sometime.
Today, Saturday, I came home and what the heck is that on my door step…. the wheel had arrived before 1400!!!! What the what!
It’s in excellent packing and looks like very good.

I was on my way from Springfield Missouri to Wichita KS to visit my son who's in the USAF before he is deployed to? .And my radiator blew out in Mount Vernon no auto parts stores had one to fit my truck I call them and was lucky enough they were able to pull one for me I limped my truck there was able to remove and replace mine on their lot and was on my way in 2 hours great caring staff God bless them .

I used to call Meadows a few years ago for my work searching for parts for our fleet of pickups and they were always very helpful and reasonable. I retired about 5 years ago and in 2023 I was looking for parts for my Jeep Grand Cherokee and Meadows came through. Thanks for all you have help me with over the years.
This was the rudist place of business I have ever had the experience of calling just to ask if they had any body parts for my car. Knowing exactly which years fit my car, I asked if they had any body parts for the years through which would work for me, and the guy abruptly says, just tell me what you've got so again I say, I'm looking for 2011 they 2014 Chrysler 300 body parts to repair my car from hitting a deer and he just says no we don't before in even finished with my sentence and hangs up on me. Yeah, sorry, I live in the same town as this place but they won't be getting ANY MORE of my business.
Called for some windows for my car and the owner said they had them and would pull the windows when i arrived . Drove 3 hours and as promised they got me the right windows and also some other parts i needed to fix my car! They were short staffed that day and they still provided great service at a good price !

I had to replace the transmission in my truck so this was one of the only places that had the transmission that I needed and they have a really good warranty most places were only given 30 days for a warranty Meadows gave 90 days for a warranty.
I called and checked on parts for my vehicle and was assured the parts were there before driving 35+ miles to be sadly disappointed when arriving and the parts I needed not being available. I was able to find 1 piece I needed/could use and was charged an extremely high price for it considering the quote I received for the parts I called for originally (which was 1 of the 4 pieces of the parts I called for) I paid 75 less for 1 part than I had been quoted for the 4 I called for originally and it was also the cheapest of the 4 when buying separate. Not at all satisfied or impressed with the service provided. Although if your looking to buy a vehicle they had some nice vehicles with titles for good prices if that's what your looking for but unfortunately for my experience and needs wouldn't recommend
Meadows is a vehicle salvage yard. These guys are great. They will pull parts for you if the part(s) are available. They cheerfully refund your money if the part doesn't work. Just remember to bring your receipt!
The team at Meadows helped me locate a replacement motor for my F150 when mine bit the dust. They were respectful, kind, and professional every time we spoke on the phone. I needed the motor shipped to Florida, and they did a great job at communicating with me and setting up the shipment. All I had to do was pay! I own Big D's Auto Repair and refinishing in Ava Missouri and we have purchased multiple parts from them and they always took very good care of us and have been very pleased with the service.
They were having phone troubles and I couldn't get through. After several attempts I emailed them to their posted site and they promptly responded to my email and had a salesman call me. I would recommend you give them a chance.
Meadows seems to have everything you need. At first all I thought they only had were truck parts but soon found out they had car parts too. Great knowledgeable staff. Friendly service. They have been around for a long time.
Brian is awesome! I needed a very random part that is not something you normally have to replace (rod for lowering the spare tire on a Silverado) Brian know exactly what I need and had all the parts ready for me when I got there. Because it's such a random part I was expecting to have to pay a lot for it but they only charged me $15. The guys up there metals are really good guys.
Very nice truck to stop to take a rest. Restroom could use a upgrade .dirt lot with good amount of truck space .cashier was very nice to.it has a restaurant ,alot neat item.
