I hate leaving a negative review. When I was younger, we brought scrap here all the time, and they were always good to us. I've heard bad rumors recently, but I chose to ignore them. After all, people deserve a chance. Unfortunately, today, we took a load of STEEL to them. It should have been $60. We needed it for our water bill. They cheated us. Plain and simple. They paid us for tin price. It was a wasted trip. We barely cover gas to drop it off. 300 pounds of steel we collected. They gave us $21. What a rip-off. Please take better care of your customers. We probably won't be back, but if things change, I'll change this review.
I brought in 240 pounds of coated copper wire and there were couple different size wire and they weighed it together so even for the 10awg wire they were paying the same for 14 or 16awg wire which is crap. THEY GAVE ME A WHOPPING 10 CENTS A POUND. RIP OFF. I brought in 828 pounds of batteries and they gave 12 cents a pound. 240 lbs of copper for 24$ and 828lbs for 99.36$ I'm probably never gonna come back it's unbelievable how little they gave me.
They will screw you over. They are crooks. I took some dirty copper there and didn't know they paid me for dirty brass went back and they said they had to charge me for dirty brass but all at the same time throw the dirty copper in their dirty copper bin to get dirty copper price out of it so you better not take anything there cause they will pay what they want
i was expecting less than happy attitudes considering i was trying to beat the clock … but happily to my surprise they were pleasant and helpful .. no rush.. even in the rain.. i appreciated it
They are on the cheapest side of the junk price list they will try and low ball u on any catalytic converters and tell u they ain't worth $30 and be more like 580
This place is ok but they need to stop being so damn cheap and pay people what it's worth not what they think it's worth they have this thing called a world price chart on all metals look it up

I mean, it's a scrapyard, BUT every employee I've encountered there has been polite and helpful. And a HUGE positive, You can still go there between noon and 1pm.
The yard attendant Melissa Berry is wonderful! She helped us so much,as we didn't really know where to go ..she pointed us out to the right direction and seemed to be a very hard worker ,thrown in there with all those men! She can out work them ,I do think!
They will cheat you on weights. And got workers that claim have bad day so they cheat people out money that work hard for. I go to this place once or twice week but never again will i..
Very nice staff . If you want to keep your truck bed in good shape.dont let them unload your truck with the magnet . My tailgate and tail light got destroyed Friday When I went there and sold my scrap metal. Next time I think I will unload it by hand
Under new owners. Is now ww recycling. Same people that own the place in marmaduke. Was so much better, cleaner and definitely more friendly. Go by there and see for yourself.
Crooks. The first time I went it was shame on me that they paid me for long iron when I had short iron. This time I told five people and still tried to make me believe it was my fault. After being insulted and basically was bullied. I couldn't get back the short iron I was digging back out , I was being mean to there people . So I went in got what they expected me to be paid for, ilive thirty miles away so I'm looking at there ticket and seen I was nothing short of robbedr. I called the cops and the officer told me robbery was a civil matter and I questioned that an d got the impression he was going to arrest me. I'll drive fifty miles before I go there again. Don't go
What can be said it's a junk yard and cud give better prices but when ur the only for miles most ppl will choose not to drive hours with a load for miles or across the state line.
Careful in the yard cuz if ur ride is damaged at all it's u responsibility an ur cost. Alot of ppl get tire damage mostly.
