To say that my experience with David was less than positive is a huge understatement. I crashed my CBR 11 months ago, and have spent thousands in putting her back together, OEM parts are no longer sold by Honda. I located a radiator from DCC and had it sent to my mechanic. After a few more months he had it back in one piece and running. the 15 mile ride home was interrupted halfway, as i noticed my thermostat was dipping in the red (overheating) when it should be sitting at the halfway mark. I nursed it the last 7 miles and got to my garage to find that the radiator was bone dry. I verified with my mechanic that he didn't forget the fluids, and he was certain he didn't. I filled it with coolant the next day and rode two miles to work. the problem persisted, still overheating. I put my ear to the engine, and could literally hear the radiator sizzling (as if you were making bacon!) I ponied up $100 to tow it back to my mechanic (the radiator cost $80). I purchased in April, so the problem wasn't noticed until the bike was fully repaired in August. i attempted to contact DCC by e-mail, and on facebook, and received absolutely no response. I went to paypal, and was told that DCC had informed them that because the radiator was "modified" after purchase. It was not "modified" in any way whatsoever. It was simply installed after being received. I contacted my bank to have the cost of the defective part charged back to my account, but because the time it took to discover the defect outran their time for responsibility. I contacted DCC again in order to give them one last opportunity to make this right before I made a post such as this. After a week, I finally got a hold of David, and his answers were "it's past 60 days so there's nothing we can do". In the middle of explaining to him about my crash last year, and trying to repair it he cut me off with "I don't want to hear about all of that". then before I could ask if there was anything else that could be done, he abruptly stated "no longer my problem" and HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I personally work in customer service for a luxury vehicle manufacturer. Can you imagine me keeping my job if I spoke to my customers in that manner?!! I studied the other reviews on this company to see if it was just me BEFORE i called him. He may have many other favorable reviews, but for me personally, if you purchase anything from this company, you do so at your own risk. Suffice it to say I, or anyone I know (im on several motorcycle forums) will NEVER do business with DCC again.....EVER!!!
