Good+ experience with these guys. Experienced a delay with my tow but they were very good about keeping me informed. I was also thankful for the driver paying extra care not to damage my vehicle when onloading/offloading.
Would never ever recommend this company. Picked up equipment from the lot in Elmira. The equipment had been damaged during the tow (we were not able to see it until after papers were signed and paid). After calling, they were not at all willing to help make the situation right. They denied any responsibility. Customer service over the phone and in person was horrible. Just feeling very disappointed in this experience especially considering it’s a small town company. If I could give 0/5 stars I would.
The best towing experience I’ve ever had. When my truck ran out of fuel, I couldn’t get it to run again and I was going to have to tow it. They were on scene in no time and able to get me going. Chris is the best, he’s prompt, friendly and keeps you in the loop about what’s going on and where he is. Thanks guys.
I was told when I called they would be at my house in 30 minutes to pick up my car and take it to the mechanic shop. They were here in 10 minutes. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and helpful from the office staff to the tow driver. I will definitely use them again and would recommend them
I was in an auto accident when another driver failed to stop at a stop sign . From the moment these two guys showed up . They were very caring individuals from beginning to the end . And super patient with me while I waited for my nephew to show up . I would recommend this towing company to anyone who wants great quick service. They deserve more stars than 5 . They were absolutely PHENOMENAL.
Not happy with a business, that survives on info from complex on which cars to keep eyes on close to expiring. To make matters worse, I was hospitalized, management called 911 for me. Vehicle was towed 8/31 at 6:20pm. So 20 minutes after close if business in a holiday weekend. Tow Bill Over $300. Car registration. $37.00. Oh yeah towed out of my personal Disabled spot on private property.

My Excursion blew a hole through the radiator today. A hour from home. Googled a towing company with good ratings and crossed my fingers! I let them know when I called it had an 8in lift on 37s. Today is Easter so I wasn’t expecting fast service ... but Dakota arrived with a tow truck the same time my mom showed up with car seats to get my 4 boys! I will most definitely use them again! Hands down best tow experience I’ve had. Don’t second guess yourself! If you’re looking for fast, friendly service, Shoemakers is the place to call!!!
I hit a deer 3 hours from home on a Sunday night. The tow service was there almost immediately. As I was stranded and no way to get home, the driver took me to the KC airport so I could get a rental car, which he was not paid for and I had no cash. Thankfully I was able to rent a car and get home.
I locked myself out of my Truck, 5:30 AM! Even with it being early, Steven showed up quickly and got me back on the road. Very professional, friendly service. Reasonable rate also. I would definitely call them again. Thanks for your help!

From start to finish I got the best customer service and it was not even for me . It’s for my cousin ! We live in Texas and my cousin truck broke down in Missouri , he was 8 hrs away from home so he called me to help , first company I called was shoemaker tow for a long distance haul. The price was reasonable and they could take the truck first thing this morning ! Big shoutout to Ryan for helping out my family and for being so communicative .
Had to have my car towed in the middle of the night. They were super friendly and arrived within 15 min of my call. The driver was very helpful and the price was cheaper than expected. Highly recommend.
Had car troubles on the side of the road, person who answered was professional and helped me calm down and give him proper directions.
Actual person who can to tow my car was a yound man named Scottie, and he was a delight. Helped with the car right away, had it up and ready to go in a matter of minutes. He was great, in that he gave my grandfather and I a little lesson on jumping cars, overall really appreciate this service, and will call them again if needed.
Shoemaker tow went out of his way to make sure I was able to get the tow that I needed and even called in a favor from another tow service to assist us. He stayed to make sure things went well and refused payment for his trouble. Stand up guy. Highly recommend.
After my vehicle broke down, I believe my driver was Tyler, who called me instantly to give me his ETA within that hour. Upon arrival he was very, very friendly and got me to the shop to get my vehicle fixed. He then volunteered to go the extra mile and bring me to the nearby hotel so I wouldn't have to find an Uber or Lift to get there. This company goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is taken care of which is hard to find nowadays. THANK YOU for the wonderful service!!
Our car had slid into a creek when we were driving in the snow, called shoemaker tow and they were there in 20 minutes and the next morning, when it was safe, they pulled our car out. I wasn’t sure about the insurance covering the damages, but Ryan was really helpful with that and helped me understand the terms of my policy, over the phone even! Very friendly people!!
I had a catastrophic breakdown in the middle of nowhere on a hot day with 3 children while on a daytrip. My roadside assistance people contacted these guys and they came quickly. The driver would not leave us alone along the road waiting for our ride. He stayed with us for almost 30 minutes until he knew that we were safe. If you need help I certainly recommend that you call these guys.

Unfortunately, no one wants to have to have their vehicle towed, but Shoemaker was Great!!!!!! Chris was very friendly and did a great job!!!! Took me and my husband home along with our vehicle...Great experience during an unfortunate event... :) definitely recommend!
