He even took the time to FaceTime with me to troubleshoot the problems and offered to swap the engine if I couldn’t get it running. A few months ago I bought a non-running mower as a project. The starter was off, but he assured me it wasn't froze. I don't know how he got the engine to turn as far as he did by hand, but when I got home it was completely locked up.

Went there today for a difficult to find discontinued spring and with a few minutes of searching found the exact replacement. Awesome customer service , great place with a lot of inventory. It was recommended to me by another person and he said if they don't have it start looking for another tractor. Super happy my old tractor fixed.
They are very helpful, for parts and repairs and mower sales . I have even called and harald has told me how to repair my own mower. Highly recommend for me.
Had the parts we needed and they sold them at a reasonable price I believe I would listen again if they need something for a lawn mower or any other kind of mechanical machine lawn mowers riding mowers generators whatever

Got my mower in the shop within a timely manner, had it back in just a cpl days. Very friendly, understanding, price was reasonable, they even dropped it off at my house. Will be back for all my small engine needs.
This establishment has the best customer service around. Very helpful and had everything I needed to get my lawn mower ready for the season. Freshly sharpened blades, a spark plug and an air filter. I was in and out fairly quickly. I plan on take my chain saw in to have it fully serviced and to get both blades sharpened.

The lady in the office is the rudest most hateful person I’ve ever been around. She seemed to be very inconvenienced by my request for a part. She huffed and puffed and spoke VERY rudely the entire time I was in there. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!! These people are worthless. Negative 5 stars!!!!
If you have a small engine repair, blades sharpened and honest, reliable, over great service. This is the place to go. I highly recommend Harold's over any other type of this business. Diy sometimes is taking your problem to Haralds. The Diy consists of dropping it of and picking it up.
Though we were told our mower couldn’t be fixed, we were charged $300.
We took our mower to a different shop and found that the things Harolds told us were fine were the issue. Coincidentally, the wiring has been backward. When contacted Harolds to confront them, they reported they wired it correctly and wired it back when we picked it up. This issue ended up costing us an additional $1500.
My parents bought a part for a log splitter there. The guy working there told him the part came off of a new log splitter he bought from a place that was going out of business. He said he wasn’t sure why they had taken this part off to begin with. But he guaranteed it would work. Well it didn’t and when my Dad tried called him back to talk about it, he told my Dad that he probably just put it on wrong. So he didn’t stick by his “guarantee” my parents are stuck with a bad part and have to find another one somewhere else
These folks are the most friendly down to earth people in the lawn mower business. I'm another shop in Texas. We had an old Yazoo mower here that we probably shouldn't have fixed but we did because the customer is a long time customer and good guy. I couldn't find the part anywhere online. One phone call to Harold's Small Engine and these folks pulled the part right off the shelf. Thank you so much!
The ladies in the office were pleasant and helpful. However there seems to a difference in service attitude between the office and the older gentleman running the outside service in the yard. he was " gruff" and seemed almost annoyed with my inquiries. I asked about a grill for my Craftsman riding mower and he just stared at me. Then I added that I would buy the whole hood assembly. He then stated," That there were no craftsman parts or mowers in his yard". I had to be escorted into the yard to find a mower handle. Upon entering the yard, not only were there numerous craftsman mowers, but I mentioned to the pleasant young man assisting me, that the perfect craftsman hood was right in front of me on a big pile of hoods. I thought the idea of a salvage yard was to sell used parts as well as new. The " Pick a Part" salvage yards I am accustomed to , would charge a $2,00 entry fee, inspect your tool bag, and send you into the yard without being escorted. You would find your parts and return through a designated area to pay for your parts. Harald's has an excellent set up for this type of operation, and would make money on fees. Also Harald's would not have to waste an employee escorted people around the yard, instead, he could collect fees and mark the part with pricing and date with non-removable marker. I am thankful for the parts I bought, but I will not go back because I do not want to deal with the head man in the yard. Sincerely, Ralph Merritt
I got a call after one hours work and he said he didn't know what the problem was. He said it wasn't a fuel problem and that he thought he might have to replace the coils and that was gonna cost a lot in labor. I told him I recently replaced the fuel pump. When I picked it up the receipt said, fuel pump was missing one spring and it took awhile for him to find electrical problem but didn't say exactly what that issue was. It cost me $184. Im left feeling like I got took. So was it a fuel issue or not?
Had a problem with my riding lawn mower so my warranty company sent it here, after they kept it for 3 weeks and kept telling me rudely that they were backed up and didn't have time to even look at it, they call me back and tell me that there is nothing wrong with my mower even though the guy that came out to pick it up had trouble getting it to go in reverse, hints the problem with the mower. Long story short waste of time and money taking anything to this place. If you have any other option to take it somewhere else Definetly do so.
Great warm feelings I got from these people they were intuitive as well as courteous they were helpful and amazingly informative they not only help me with the specific part that I needed and we're the only ones there had it although the drive was a little long for me they had many options for me to choose from even though the part had been discontinued for a couple years they had brand new part or used part exceptionally well just all around good people I would recommend him to anybody in search of the services that they offer give them 5 stars
Very friendly nice place my only thing is prices on used parts are to expensive. I wanted some used tires that were almost dry rote on rusted out wheels for few dollars less than new ones. I goes he thinks he has the best stuff around when its just rotting away. A great place to get new stuff though.
My husband, Ron, does business with Harald's Small Engine on a consistent basis. We are very pleased with their customer service, knowledge and their inventory of Schaeffer products. Our son now is a customer of Harald's.

I purchased a reconditioned riding mower from them last year. The best mower I've ever purchased... hands down! Richard and Debbie the owners are straightforward, honest and fair! I would recommend doing business with them to anyone.
I went in to get a replacement wheel for my push trimmer. I had looked at Orschelin's and Nixa hardware and they didn't have it. Harald's had a USED wheel but insisted that it was sitting on the shelf as long time but it was new. They charged me the new price of $23 even though the wheel had small chunks missing and was mildly worn. I needed the wheel but didn't like being lied to and gouged on the price. I will not return.
