Usually I don’t have any problems here, haven’t had this happen to me. On Friday 02/06/26 I went looking for a rear crossmember or sub frame for an impala. Before going in I asked for a price, the elder lady and another worker couldn’t come up with a price for the part. I mentioned I could go down the road and get one already pulled out for $40. Not knowing she was actually the owner She then stated they could match my price. So I said why not I’m already here I’ll put in the work and take one from here. Well I wasn’t able to get the part off because I was missing some tools. It was getting close to closing time so I just decided I’d come back the next day. Came back the next day was able to get the part off, went to check out. There was like 4 workers and again were having trouble pricing my part like the previous day. The elder nice lady wasn’t there this time. They then came up with a different price from the previous day. The part had some wiring that was useless just didn’t want to spend more time on taking it out so got charged for that. They built up a line so didn’t want to hold them up and just paid. As I was leaving I looked at the receipt. I got charged for and engine sub frame, a total different part then what I went and picked up. My part came from the rear not the front. So I went back to see if I could work something out and explained how I got priced for a complete different part then what I picked up. I explained how the elder lady said they’d match it. I got the response that they don’t do that there. I then asked well can we at least call and get a hold of the lady( the owner) and talk to her that I was back for the part. The employee responded it was her birthday weekend and refused to call her and to come back when she was here.I mentioned I’m only looking to get something back because the price I got was different and I even got charged for useless wiring. Another employee then came out and said the same thing “that’s our price for the part we don’t match here and you can take the wiring out if you don’t want it.” It almost seemed like they wanted to argue with me. I had no more time to waste with them and said okay thank you as I walked away and left.

They have a wide selection of 'older' vehicles you probably can no longer OEM parts for. Vehicles were well set and easy to get parts from. The lot is easy to get around. They have a cart(s) you can use to ferry your tools and transport your found treasures. They have a searchable database of vehicles by year, make, model, engine size, color and location. They do not have a list of what parts are available. You have to go hunting. That's how these businesses keep costs down. If you want parts already removed, inventoried, cleaned, and tested; that's a different business model and you will pay more.

This place is amazing!! Let them know what you're looking for and they print a list of where the vehicles that might have that part in it and where in the yard it's at. BEST pick and pull place I've ever been to.

Being an automotive business, you'd think they would know the value of the words "guaranteed if". Even though they have all of my information and serial numbers.. with no receipt, they will not take the effort to use their system to keep myself, my family and my friends business. I never asked for a dime back. Offered to trade the "guaranteed" bad transmission, that I had already pulled and purchased, and pay half for the replacement. No receipt, no guarantee. I'm a greasy, mechanic. I had enough faith in the guaranteed parts I purchased to misplace the dirty, receipt. In 2025, refusing to use the technology at hand to validate a guarantee will cost you business. People will avoid businesses nowadays over something as small as not having tap to pay. I have learned my $300 lesson.

They gave our friend tires that had a nail in one, hole in another and the sidewalls were very weak on the other 2. All 4 unable to be used per the shop mounting and balancing them. We told them he had to be back in North Carolina the next day for work and needed these tires to drive. They do not have any concern for the safety of their parts or customers. No integrity at all. I’m just wondering what would have happened if we got those on and they blew while he was driving 70 on the highway. When we called, workers tried to divert the blame to the owner- yet we couldn’t talk to her. Save your money and time and just go to the yard in Cobden, IL.

I bought a seat and a door for my Chevy pickup and left my Milwaukee impact driver and batterin the dolly the yard provides for dragging parts around. It was closing time and I didn’t notice I didn’t have it and I drove away. The staff figured out who it belonged to and left me a voicemail to come back and get it!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

Very unprofessional I had my breaks go out and stopped there because I had to. I went in and it was 330 on the website it says it closes at 5 no entry after 430. I'm getting parts off at 428 I have someone tell me I have 2 minutes it takes me 7 minutes and when I get there they tell me I can't buy the parts I need and I'm band for lifetime over 5 mins I have to drive home with no breaks because of this also I cut my arm pretty bad had blood running off my arm .noone said anything about me having only an hour to get parts I needed so I worked my but off to get the stuff I needed for them to ruidly not sell them to me and make me leave with no breaks on my car I'm sure I'm not the one treated this way also I'm sure that I'm not the only one that has taken a little bit longer together parts they needed . Where I come from people help you when you need it not ban you and make you leave with no breaks on your car very rude all over 5 mins. I've had several jobs where I had to stay over 5 mins. To help a customer

These guys are so nice! I don't really like walking around the whole yard to find my parts I wish they would do it for you because I'm disabled and it's difficult for me. But I will definitely go back! They were very reasonable and helpful 💯🇺🇸🫡‼️

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fairly quick and easy. They supplied me with a list of cars and their location that had my part. They had my part (starter) and checkout was easy also. Pricing was reasonable and they took my old starter as a core. Will go here again when I need a part. This location saves me a trip to St Louis for used parts.

Super helpful staff. Cars are decently spaced so you can work around them to get what you need. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a cheap option than buying new parts.

This place is terrible. It's all gravel and hills. Prices are higher than you can get some brand new things for. If you need a part off what they say is a good engine you can't pull it. Even if it's the only one they have. It's a joke of a place. Don't waste your time

It's a great place to pick the parts you need for your car. Just make sure to dress appropriately like pants even if hot. And make sure to wear close toe shoes it's lot rules. Pluss the lot fee is 2 or 3 bucks can't beat that.

A very good, well organized, clean, and diverse auto salvage facility for anyone needing auto parts to give a try. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If you have a used auto parts need give this place a try. It is self service, so bring your own tools for removal of any part you seek. Highly recommended. Check out their website as well. It is very helpful.

This is the place to go for car parts of all kinds, they have great prices and I love to hang out and look around for things I might need or want to add to my vehicle, I get all sorts of ideas by looking at the junkers and ideas others have had and done to theirs. They are about their business and right to it, not the friendliest bunch but they have to deal with a lot people everyday and most are there to just get what they came for so it works. After receiving a response to this review I wanted to say this; My words about them not being the friendliest bunch makes it sound like they are rude or something and that's not the case. They are more business like not acting either way, for lack of vocabulary, I will say, nonchalant with a smile. They do their job and I understand not having the biggest smile all day every day as they deal with a lot of people every day and that really adds up in a work week so to the staff I want to say thank you for not being rude and not letting those who make it difficult rub off on you. Thank you for the smiles and knowing your job, you all are very proficient in what you do. Love this place and maybe if I took more time to talk to them I'd see a different side through my rose colored glasses!!

Better than going to st Louis. 99% of the time I find what I'm looking for. And bless my soul I've seen to find the correct color part I needed . Folks are honest and friendly. Prices have been fair enough.

I have a 98 jeep cherokee (XJ) and have have used many parts found on their lot. Cherokees are popular but used parts are not always as easy to find as most people think. I go in for 1 part but usually leave with a couple additional parts just because they were available. I have a steering pump, and 2 front wheel hubs and inner axles just because they were there and, well, we jeepers are kinda hard on our Jeeps LOL! I sometimes go in just to see what they might have that would be useful to me in the future. Lot is organized and easy to navigate. This lot has kept my 330,000 + miles XJ on the road and more importantly "off of the road" since I purchased it 5 yrs ago!

The associates were extremely helpful. I was shocked at this because it was so close to time for the business to close. They have great deals on everything. They also have a section at the front of items they have found in the vehicles for less than garage sell prices! For $2, I bought a brand new c-type charger and cigarette lighter plug-in! You can't get that deal anywhere else!

Decent place given the fact there aren't very many salvage yards around the area that allow a customer to cruise the inventory lot and pull your own parts. Many of their vehicles have been in the lot for a minute it appears as they have been picked clean. But still a good place to go for some hard to find parts or to get certain parts that are simply too expensive to buy new.

This place has gone down hill. You have to pay $2 per person to get in, you do all the work, then they charge you outrageous prices. I understand about the $2, because some people can’t find what they need and thus don’t buy anything. When you do buy a part they should give you back that money. If there was 2 in your party then you get that money off your purchase. They pay cheap prices for your wrecked vehicles then charge people up the wazzoo for parts. Go here if you want to get ripped off.

Not much to say. 2 dollar part and the lady wanted me to buy the whole component. Tired going there and being treated like a thief or vandal. Would gladly spent 100 or so for other parts but everytime I go there no customer service. Rude people. Overpriced. Definitely waste of time and money. Pick-n-Pull in St. Louis from now on. Or Paul's Auto Parts in Daisy. More reasonably parts. Better service. Tri-State is bad business for customers.

Used to really love this place. It’s so helpful to have an affordable option to repair your vehicle but I don’t know what’s been going on there lately.. the lady upfront is just ALWAYS stereotyping people and accusing them of stealing. One time they even had a police officer already on site to have our pockets emptied and guess what not a thing was stolen. Talk about a waste of police time. It really does hurt some feeling to be accused of stealing when you aren’t. It’s a shame.

This place is great. If you need less expensive parts and are mechanically inclined you have found a good spot. The staff is friendly and will help you out any way they can. They have a good selection of cars to get parts from. I've found almost any car part I could think of in decent condition plus they have a guarantee for most of the parts.

Time to separate the boys from the men, this car yard is one of the very best set ups I've ever seen. Cars are up off the ground so you can get to the parts you need without having to Jack anything up and take the chance of it falling. Everything is well organized and they keep good track where the car you are looking for is placed. With a little work you can save a ton of money, is your choice once you are there if you want to take the part you came for. You get it off and it don't look any better than what you had your choice to carry it to the check-out. They sign you in as your coming in and at that time they look up the part and make, model, year of the vehicle your needing the part from and can tell you where that numbered row is located. To the point I've never been to a sweeter set up to get the parts I need, they are friendly and polite and maybe a little unclear what they consider a while part. We went for the cvc axel it is one unit though it was two pieces, it the check out they considered it as two pieces which caused the price to double from what we were told when we called, but even at that price we were far from what the cost would have been had we tried to buy it used it new. Sure we supplied the labor in this case to receive a discount, but you all know you rarely get your cake and get to eat it all to. Pound for pound I give this a 9 all thumbs up!!!

Great selection and fair pricing. I wish I could pull up the parts left on a car before going there to find the piece I need already gone. Id imagine this is possible if they tracked the vechiles using the vin and which parts are sold off. Overall always find a deal!!

Definitely appreciate that our area finally got one of these. They have most common vehicles up to about 2010 and a lot of older vehicles. Rules are few and fair, and prices are reasonable for the most part. Most of the staff are very nice, but there is one lady who's rude and goes out of her way to charge as much as possible. She doubled an expensive item to come up with a price for something that wasn't on their price list for the person I was with.
