90% of my materials come from Crainshaw. They typically have what I need and if not order it and have it for me in a week. With delivery prices so low I don’t even consider using the box stores. Highly recommend

Renting a car dolly from Crainshaw was a fantastic experience. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely be going to them again if I need to rent anything in the future.
Great Store very friendly home owned in Climax Springs and if they don't have it they will get it for you quickly. I recently purchased from them a 120i Husqvarna 48 volt electric saw. Used it today for the first time and I'm super impressed with it.

Lake of The Ozarks, is often a "lifesaver" for lake area residents. They have had everything I have needed to repair, remodel and maintain a lake cabin I purchased seven years ago. I haven't needed to bring building materials from the city because they deliver. If I discover I need plumbing, electrical or even basic cleaning supplies Crainshaw has it available and they are only a short drive from the lake.
The staff is always readily helpful. The store is well stocked for being a small local store. It's Pleasant to go there when they don't accost you when you first walk in the door. And now that I'm learning my way around the store and know where everything is I actually like going there once in awhile. The prices are okay considering there is a cost to bring supplies this far from town. The tax rate is cheaper than Osage Beach and I think you'll find that most of what you need if it's an emergency or Rush are special or they have it or can get it.
Prices are higher than the larger stores and the inventory is smaller; however, that is probably to be expected from a smaller rural store. But they have a decent inventory for a smaller business and it's possibly cheaper in the end when you consider a lower tax rate and a much shorter drive for locals. The staff are quite helpful and friendly and they are conveniently located right on MO 7.
