I got a track bar from OREILLYS had it installed, come to find out it was the wrong part for my truck and broke, now OREILLYS doent want to pay for the damage and lost revenue, because of it.
Becareful they will sell you the wrong part even if says its the wrong part on their computer
We were all the way in Butler, mo from Richmond, mo had a flat and the girl behind the counter said the didn't have an air compressor she would let us use when there was tons for sale my boyfriend tried telling her we were not gonna hurt it and it was in store use, she could even see us out the window.....well thank God a guy should up with one on his truck but if not in this heat we would have been screwed.
Alternator went in the parking lot and could see which I needed and still gave the wrong part. Typical oriellys for ya always takes to trips to get it right!
Other O'Reilly 's usually go way beyond to help and figure out the best solution. This one didnt seem like they were motivated to help figure our problem. Which it ended up being an easy one.. and I ended up having to lay on the pavement and get dirty to try different pieces that was missing under the car until I, not the worker, found the right part ...
I am done,,,,, so damn tired of getting the wrong parts,,,they do not pay attention at all,,, You tell them and tell them what engine , model etc,,, dosnt matter, they will go out of their way to get you the WRONG damn part.
My Pontiac wouldn't start. I thought the battery may be dead/bad. Took it to the Butler Missouri locations to be tested/charged. The associate comes back within a minute and tells me my battery is not going to take a charge, bad, I n3ed a new one. Shows me the stock they have, 100 dollar minimum. I borrow a good one. While putting it in notice the car is easy to push into motion. It's not in park. Drop it into neutral, starts right up. I put mine(The "bad one" according to Oreillys) back in. Starts right up. It's a damn shame that "broke down", completely strapped for cash, and 75 miles from home, that a technician at or eillys would lie to me to try and get me to believe I needed a new battery. I will keep this in mind in the future for my car needs purchases. Bet I avoid Oreillys.
This place will blow out your tires. Just bought 4 new tires two days ago and had stopped at here was leaving and boom one of these many holes in the parking lot popped my tire.
