Traveling solo in RV, low tire icon came on, and Timbes was recommended. Right off the hwy I was travelin, pulled in, and got service immediately, then my battery died and they jumped me and off we went.
I appreciate them for still fixing my tire even after they were already closed but I definitely got ripped off. Paid around 460 for a 20 minute tow from where they are at to where I was at and a tire change. If I would’ve knew it was going to be that expensive I would’ve never called them and would’ve just waiting till the next day till Walmart opened but I was 2 hours away from home and was still relatively early when I called them and just wanted to make it already and I was expecting like 350 at most. Like I said I do appreciate what they did for me but they definitely are greedy and take advantage of situations. Literally took everything I had left and I even had to ask someone for some more money.
03 Yukon radiator popped on the way back to Florida. Towed me to shop drove me to motel, replaced radiator. Runs like a 233k truck should! Very reasonable prices. Great waiting area and friendly staff. Thank you bill and kim
Will rip you off with a smile on their face. And customer service is AWFUL. My 2018 CRV had a cylinder misfire and put my wife on the side of the road near Burnsville. I call first to confirm they can diagnose and fix based on the code being thrown since it’s a Honda; they said yes. I safely limp there only for them to hold the car for 4 hours, not call me with an update, run one computer test and hang up on me prematurely when I called to ask questions. I then come to pick up the vehicle the next morning for them to charge me $65 for the test when they could neither tell me why the car was throwing the code or what was wrong, much less fix my vehicle so they lied, did nothing and billed me for it. I only found out what was wrong and got it fixed at Johnny Potts garage in Farmington. Timbes WILL NOT be getting my business again.
So far so good. I spent the night here, stranded in Burnsville with a blown out tire. Hope to get another good used one in the morning around 7:00

horrible. had to wait 2 hours bc they broke a part changing my oil, made me late for work and my bill was $120. when my oil changes are never over $80. first time ever here and never coming back place a real joke.
Terrible management and rude!! Had new set of tires put on left and 3 of the 4 had less than 30# of air! Manger smarted off and blamed it on my air sensors without even checking!! Not to mention higher than anywhere else!
Timbes has come through for me multiple times in break-down situations. I’ve yet to have them tell me there’s something they can’t do. Very nice waiting room as well.
They seem nice and everything. It's just taking a little longer than expected on my vehicle to get fixed. But other than that, nice staff, clean environment etc.
Great Service and Fair prices, and good quality tires, my used tire was damn there new, thick tread too..Even if your not purchasing a tire, you got to stop by too see the lobby, rich history of all sorts..Thanks Timbe
My husband bought two wide tires for the back of our challenger online. We went to gateway to have them put on but we’re told they couldn’t do it there because the tires were too wide for the rim. My husband decided to go to timbes for an 2nd opinion and they agreed to do it. They mounted the tires and charged him $160 (which is more than he expected to pay but was told it was “a job” and he paid it without complaint. By the time we made it home from timbes, the tire sensor started showing a flat line on the driver rear side. I called timbes and was told to bring it in to be looked at. I took it there a few days later while my husband was at work. I was lectured by the owner about how he “should have charged $300 to mount them in the first place” and “definitely didn’t make any money off of it” and told me it would be “near impossible” to get the sensor past the bead but they’d try. 10-20 minutes later they had the problem fixed but charged me another $80 for doing it. The sensor was fine prior to them mounting the tires so it obviously happened with them mounting the tires so I thought they’d fix it no charge. I understand the tires were wider than normal and it may have been a little more difficult to mount but I feel they should have just declined doing it in the first place rather than charging me for something that happened after he agreed to do the job and charged extra for doing it; and to lecture me like he did because I was there without my husband. I won’t do business there again.
Rented a U-Haul truck. The experience was good. Competitive prices. There is a bunch of old "Americana" memorabilia to buy. I enjoyed browsing the store inside. Rich with history of trucks, tires, and tractors.
Excellent service. Broke down in RV and they came and replaced a valve stem while on the side of road. Also helped another friend while traveling. Great service!!!
My drive shaft broke on the interstate, got towed to Timbes. Got repaired in a timely manner, for a fair price. I live in Texas but when I need repairs in the future, if possible, I will try to book a load near Burnsville just to have my repairs done at Timbes.
Would give 10 stars if I could. They all were very attentive to the services I needed done. They found a problem that I did not know about,brought to my attention and ask if I wanted it fixed as well. There is not many places left with this kind of good service. I would recommend them for all your automotive needs!!
I will start off saying I’m very particular and OCD with my vehicles. Had a level installed on my truck today and it was installed by timbes. It rides just fine, and I’m happy with that. When I got home, I looked over all the abs line routing etc. passenger side of my truck, almost perfect. Fastener clip on the connector was just not secured 100% right. On the driver side, i immediately picked out that the line was not routed right. Looked closer and I found it’s missing a zip tie clip that attaches close to the UCA, and the bolt that fastens the line to the hub assembly is not in place at all. If I were to guess, likely a mistake on a younger tech who has yet to learn that velocity on the job comes second to quality. If it wasn’t for these little mistakes, it would be a 5/5 experience for me. Will add the price was good, and timbes works with you well. But, 3.5/5 for me because my excitement on the new stance of my truck has turned to some OCD worry until I can get a new zip clip and bolt to secure that line from contact rubbing.
we are camping and from out of state. we arrived at our campsite and noticed we had a flat tire. we started calling around to see if we could have a mechanic drive out to the state park to repair it. timbes not only returned our call quickly, but the mechanic pulled in at exactly the time of our appointment. my husband checked the tire after it was pulled and noticed that all of the tires were in bad shape. we drove down to the shop to get a full set of replacements, which were definately needed. they got us in quickly and did a great job... one of the wheels was stuck really bad but the crew worked until they finally got it off. i felt it was reasonably priced considering the work it amounted to and i now feel much safer. thank you to everybody who helped with the motorhome!
Always does me right. However , they did lose a friend of mines vehicle. Rather they said they have no record of it. In which I know better. I called a couple weeks be fore and they gave me all the details on the vehicle. Sounded strange to me.
Good place to get tires, brakes, and exhaust. They did a great job on the ballbearings on Dad's car. Bill is intelligent in the business and always sociable, as are most of the employees.

Yesterday my husband and I was on our way home and with the bad weather (snow/ice) our car, a Saab 9-3 convertible, slid off the road into a deep ditch. Our insurance company, Geico, called four different companies until they found Timbes. The driver who help us was Dustin and let me tell you he went above and beyond his duties. He told us that he would treated our car as if it was his own and he definitely did!!! He deserves 10 stars!!!! Great customer service!! Thank you very much!!!
My car was in and out in a timely manner. They completed a complicated repair on a lesser common vehicle for a fraction of RepairPal’s estimated cost. Everyone was friendly and professional.
Mr. Bill and Mr. Ricky were super intelligent and very professional. They were able to take care pulled my damage trailer out of the dock without damaging the cargo. Five star review for a five star business.
My 18 wheeler broke down not to far from there, limped it over there. The mechanic worked on it as soon as I got there, but it needed to go to the dealership for warranty work. They gave me a ride to the motel and also picked me up, they have a heavy duty wrecker and took me and my truck to the dealer. Nice people all around, will recommend them to anyone.
Do not waste your time or money!
I brought a car in for engine noise. I asked them to fix the noise and any issue it had. I then paid and picked up my car driving it home.
5 miles down the road it started vibrating and rattling loudly, much worse than it was before. Now the whole car was shaking, and I was beginning to lose control at high speeds. I turned it around and limped back to Timbes claiming the rattle was way worse and now not drivable.
They replied that it needed more work and charged me a second time for fixing my car. Then as I paid for the second time it had the same issues after leaving, roughly 5 to 10 miles down the road.
I talked to them on the phone again and explained the situation. They wanted me to bring it in for them to fix it for a third time, and planned on charging me again for the work.
The staff was rude and obviously only wanted money. The car ended up being taken to another mechanic who corrected the issue in less than a day.
This business is a complete waste of your time and should not be trusted.
I will never recommend this business, and will continue to tell anyone needing work in that area about their ethics and attitude.
