I called approx. 30 other yards closer to me showing the part I needed available...they would on some occasions check (I guess?) and say it is no longer available or they would say they would check and call me back, never to hear from them again. I called MTD and Michael was very personable, he immeditely said it (7.3 idi fan shroud) is available, he then said let me go check and make sure it is as described and I will call you back. (I figured I would never hear from him again) Michael called me back within 5 minutes and the order was complete within another 5 minutes. Approx. 1 hour later Michael text me a picture of the invoice and tracking number for FedEx. 500 miles away the item arrived 2 days later, neatly packaged and as described. I have literally spent over 10 hours and a week wasting my time with other yards. I give them 5 stars (only because 10 was not availble). Thanks Michael & thanks MTD, I wish other yards had your ambition and had their act together. I would certainly recommend and I will buy from MTD again.
They really went above and beyond to help me ID the correct part for my vehicle by sending pictures, something most recycler's will not do, and then when I had issues with it that they could not have known about, they refunded my money. Awesome to work with! Highly recommend.
I bought a window switch and regulator for my 03 suburban. The regulator failed about 40 days after they installed it for me. I called them at 130 and had an appointment for 330. They installed another regulator and had me on my way in under an hour. No charge. They are super reasonable on their prices with no hassle, great service, great people. Highly recommend them.
Well I had had a bad experience with another salvage yard and these guys were Straight Shooters they stood by their word they stood by their parts and everything they said they would do if they did it at the time they said they would do it since then I've going back several times for several other parts because I'm restoring a 95 1500 GMC pickup I would recommend these guys to anyone and they have very competitive prices which means a lot to me because I don't make a lot of money
I've been doing business here for over 20yrs I have never had a problem with anyone there the owner and his wife and all employees have ALWAYS been very very nice and helpful I will continue to do business here as long as I'm am able to if they do not have or can get the parts you need they can most likely find them for you so if you need any truck van or suv parts give them a try first
If you need a truck part, this is the place to start your search. If they don't have it, they will find it. Owner and his wife run the place and do a great job. Been my go to used parts place for years!
The guys are seriously rude & sarcastic, m not from the dirty junk to know how the thing works, i asked him couple of questions & was like m repeating & repeating & also calls back to back if i had curse at him & hang up, total waste of time with these jerks
