guy at the front desk answering phones is rude! talk to customers like garbage, and has no customer service skills whatsoever! if i could give yall no stars i would. what i waste of space.
DON'T TAKE YOUR PART BACK SO QUICKLY BECAUSE IT'LL WILL TAKE FOREVER TO COME BACK ON YOUR CARD .. I'M 6 DAYS IN .. STILL DON'T HAVE MY PAYMENT ON THE CAR.. THAT'S CRAZY.. HOW MUCH LONG SHOULD I WAIT FOR MY MONEY TO COME BACK... I'M TRYING TO GET MY CAR FIXED..
A few weeks ago I called and confirmed that they had a door I was needing. They had it, I paid over the phone for them to pull it and have it ready when I got there to pick it up. I paid for a complete door. You know, the shell, the glass, the mirror as it was pictured on their website to be and CONFIRMED in the phone call to be and CHARGED to receive. Well, I get there, the door was pulled. However, it was just the shell. No glass, no mirror, no door latch nor window motor nor tracks. Just the door and the inside door cover. I went in and talked to the lady at checkout where I got my receipt and told her about the door. She said she could only knock $60 dollars off. I said can you go more. She said no. So I left, with the door. The door was the correct color I needed for the repair to be cheaper. So I took it. Bought a mirror, door latch, well THE ENTIRE GUTS OF THE DOOR I had to purchase somewhere else. The thing is, I WAS TOLD I WAS PAYING FOR A COMPLETE DOOR AND CONFIRMED THAT EVERYTHING WAS ON IT. So they, at Lamar Auto Salvage got my $400 and change after they refunded to my card the $60 dollars and I still had to buy the missing parts that I was sold and that I paid for. That is crooked in my humble opinion. The only plus is, or positive here is, they pulled the door and had it waiting on me when I got there and the door matched the color of the vehicle being repaired. For this door replacement, I am out over $600 because I was robbed of parts from a door that I was told and charged for as being an INTACT full complete door with glass, mirror, door latch, window motor, etc etc etc............ BE VERY CAREFUL FOLKS! Shop at your own risk but if you were to ask me if I would give them my business again, I would say, YES, Yes I would because sometimes, you need what you need ASAP and if it is close by to pick up, it is another plus! Just they should have refunded $200 of what I paid to cover the missing parts I had to buy somewhere else!

They had the parts wr needed, were very knowledgeable about the parts as well.
Nobody answers the phone. Have to call over and over. Then have to sit here and wait for them to pull the part because they cant bother to pull it before you come. Why cant I just pay for the part and have it pulled? On the plus side, while waiting I can see first hand why nobody answers the phone. I drove from 45 mins away, Sat here for 90 mins to get a simple part and still left with nothing. Literally wasted half a day. I'll never step foot in this place again.
It's hard to get through to them in the phone. They are over priced.
I just checked on a part there finally got through, and they wanted $50 more than what I can pay for it elsewhere. NOPE!

What a nice customer service when you call in to order a part, someone answers with “you there, what do you want?”

Lamar told an auto salvage yard in Gulfport that they had the correct alternator sitting on the shelf waiting on me to get there then I drove almost 2 hours to get there and they had the wrong one. No one even act like it had happened that I drove almost 2 hours to pick up a part that he said he had!!! They didn't offer to reimburse me fuel, pay for my part wherever I might find it, anything;P not even a simple, "I'm sorry that you drove all this way for a part that we said we had."
Just, "Where you coming from?"
Do not recommend if you need something urgent that the part stores don’t carry cause you will never get anyone to answer and you will just get a attitude
I was having trouble finding the part I needed used, it was a rack and pinion for toyota tundra. Brand new it was going to cost me almost $700 so that wasn't an option. I called all over Mississippi for 2 months hunting with no luck. My uncle says check lamars I bet they have it. Not only did they have it but it was a very good price.
The men were very helpful and kind. Nice to have people still willing to talk and joke around that are not being rude. They had what I needed and that made me very pleased.
Called 2 hours ahead guy on phone said he would pull part only to get there and wait over a hour horrible customer service and extremely rude. You have to wait but employees standing around talking
I think seven minutes on hold is long enough to not answer so taking my engine purchasing buisness elsewhere, and luckily... it is a popular engine to get from other sellers, best of luck running this place, when other reviews post about this place not answering, they are right.
Man the people at the place are as good as gold! We were driving through from Georgia and my jeep wrangler started
Giving us some serious problems to the point that we weren't gonna make it home. Jay went above and beyond to help us more than we could even ask for! He even gave us a small part for free that didn't cost really anything but would've kept my jeep from moving and caused serious problems down the road. Then when i had to buy a part he paid the delivery fee from another part store because he knew my jeep wasn't moving. That man deserves a raise and then some! I would recommend them to anyone anytime, their affordable, mindful, they know what their talking about and doing but most important is they care about their customers. 5 stars if I could give 10 stars I would!
Had to give a star to be able to do this, wouldn't even give them that if I could, bought a part from them, didn't come in when they said it would, had to get it somewhere else, told me I had a 90 day return fee, when I was going to return it they said there was a 120.00 dollar restocking fee that they forgot to mention, what a rip off. These people will never get my business again. If you need used parts go to bruce auto salvage in petal, they appreciate there customers. Because of this these people are going to loose thousands of dollars. Way to go Joey
Had to go there to get a passenger steering knuckle for my car. They got me the part I needed in a timely manner and when I had issues were willing to work with me and trade out the part for something better. Malichi especially was really helpful in getting the part.
Call and was told the price was 35.00 and I had my wife to make an hour trip to pick it up. Once she got there to pick up parts they changed the price to 75.00. She was told that happened 7 times the same day. I just ordered it from someone else. Time wasted
I called looking for a part my vehicle and called Lamar Auto Salvage. I decided the part that I needed, and was told that for my type of vehicle had two which one was needed. I advised which one I needed, the representative said that they had it. The representative told me how much the part would cost, I advised that I would call back. I called my Auto Shop to advise that I had found the part. I called back paid for the part and was advised that it would be delivered to the repair shop. The representative that I spoke with was very polite, informative, and helpful. I have and would recommend Lamar Auto Salvage to others. Thank You
Amazing customer service! Super nice guys, so helpful, i live out of state and there was zero issues with having my part shipped. Even though I'm out of state I definitely will be using them again.
