Only one side of our block got garbage picked up. They are already 1 day behind on pickup due to labor day. Tried calling but no answer and the automated message states to just wait due to labor day.... So now we have to wait over the weekend with an overfilled garbage can.

3 times in the past several months I have had to call these folks about an incorrect bill. They charged me AGAIN after I had already paid them for extra bags that I needed picked up. Comon Republic, figure your billing system out!

Horrible company charged $120 to come pick up garbage bin and recycling bin at the termination of service. No thanks. Also would not terminate by mail.

TERRIBLE: STAY AWAY- Their goal is to nickel and dime you any way they can and justify it using a "fuel & recovery fee". They hope you are on auto pay and dont notice or dont care when they all of a sudden spike your bill up. Not only do they charge you $44/bin pickup fee, but also an additional $34 "fuel & recovery fee" on top. We already paid this fee for this same exact time frame the prior invoice, so essentially they double charge you. Our service ended 6/12 in which we already paid this fuel/recovery fee, and they picked up the bins 6/12 and charged an additional fuel/recovery fee. How do you justify charging the same fee for a pickup truck coming 1 time vs trash services coming for 3 months? Any expenses you have should already be included in the $44/bin rate. If you look back to last year it looks like they had to settle a class action lawsuit for practically doing this exact same thing. Very very shady, and not what we signed up for when we had Randys

Terrible service, both Casey and Rosie gave me the wrong date for bulk pickup and Rosie proceeded to give me false hope that they were coming on a Wednesday just to tell me at 4:55 p.m. that they come on Tuesday. Also told me to trust their process then proved to me that their process is garbage...

After they bought out Randy's sanitation, my bill instantly increased significantly. I reached out to complain, they lowered the bill for a little while then worked my bill even higher than the first increase (and by alot). I decided to switch companies. When I called to cancel, the guy was giving me a hard time about it. Then they wanted to charge me to pick up their own trash cans. Then to make matters even worse. My last day of service was May 27th. They said they would pick the cans up June 12th. I told them I am not storing their trash cans for 2 weeks and I want them picked up ASAP. They said they would see if they could do it sooner. I never heard anything. So on the June 12th I put the cans at the curb and low and behold...I get home from work and the cans are still out there. I called this morning and the person informs me they tried to picked them up on June 2nd but couldn't because I didn't have the trash cans outside...No dates were ever communicated...talk about trying to gas light your customers. Now they say they can't get them until next week. These guys are a joke.

I had way too much recycling and scheduled an extra pick up. Nancy the driver got out of the truck and helped me break down a ton of boxes and load them into my cans so the truck could pick them up. Thank you so much!

Beware of charges for up size or down size your container. They charge 44 dolar per can. Also when you cancel even on time, they will find a way to charge you for picking up each empty carts

It is a frustrating company to work with. The default is to raise your bill to a crazy number and punish you for being a good customer. Then if you decide to move on they charge you a fee to have your trash can picked up. This was never disclosed at any point in our almost 20 years of service. I like for my trash service to not be a source of drama in my life, this is not a good place to accomplish that goal.

I had some extra stuff by the garbage can that did not fit in. I missed the driver. For the little extra stuff. The great guy he is he loaded it all up for me. So whoever did the garbage on Friday on South Lake Diane in Zimmerman my thanks to you that was a big help for me appreciate it very much. I give you five stars on that one brother.

Horrible Service! They missed my garbage pickup just a week ago. I called and rescheduled a pickup the following Monday and they still never came out. I called their customers and they had no explanation for this mishap. During my conversation with customer service, I requested someone in management to call me and never heard anything. I'm going to make this complaint known to my townhouse association.

Switched to autopay. Then noticed they were tacking on a $5 late fee each month. Called and lady admitted it was a billing error but only credited me for half the overcharges. I wonder how many people are getting taken advantage of this way

Unfortunately our experience at Republic has resulted in at least 6 missed pick ups despite putting out garbage out the night before. When we call, the call center staff is very kind, wants to be helpful and puts in for a reschedule of the pick up. Unfortunately again, we have only had the pick up happen 1x without calling again and even then most commonly we end up with our garbage overflowing and waiting at the end of the driveway until the following pick up. This creates an eye sore for our house and I’m sure makes the neighbors think poorly of us. At this point, the only thing keeping us is the call center staff. After being home owners for more than 15 years, this is the first time having such inconsistent pickup and so many issues. It’s a lot of wasted time on the phone. Would be helpful to have a response plan when this happens as it seems to be pretty common based on the reviews.

When everything is picked up on-time you will have no issues. If they miss pickup, get your trash burning barrel ready because submitting a missed pickup request does nothing. Last year they didn't pickup for 3 weeks straight at my address and this year it's happening again. I'm at week two with no sign that they'll set things straight.

This company charges three times the rate of the other companies around me.Then charges you over a hundred dollar removal fee per can And then you have to call 5 × 2 get the can removed. it's a complete joke. Go with Ace so much better.

Price has gone up exponentially since Randy's was bought out by Republic. I also have had issues with my bin being partially full after they showed up. Fee's for extra service aren't great either. Heads up for anyone thinking about canceling I was going to be charged $65 for someone to come out and pick up a 96 gallon container.

Called to see about a pick-up for a large TV box with my regular garbage route. The gal told me it would cost $117 for the "bulk" pick-up! I paid almost that for the actual TV!! I thought she was joking at first! That is absolutely ridiculous! 5 years ago I paid $7 for them to pick up. Won't catch me in that trap, but unfortunately they will catch the vulnerable one's and take it to the bank.

I'm gonna give this a 2 star review. The reason for the 2 star review is for the behavior of the drivers. They constantly sit in the parking lot of the complexes in big lake in the early morning making a ton of racket for 10-15 minutes sometimes by either slamming a single dumpster up and down repeatedly numerous times or sit in one spot with the reverse warning alarm for 10 minutes waking up all the residents in the complex. I understand that they need to get the dumpster emptied but it seems like every Monday and Friday morning the drivers are intentionally making more noise then necessary because they have to be awake and upset being at work so they have to wake up and disturb the clients because they are unhappy they are awake early so they take it out on everyone else. I will note there are times where the driver is in and out in minutes but a overwhelming amount of time they are there for one dumpster for sometimes 15 minutes or more for a single dumpster causing a disturbance.

I NEVER EVER GIVEN A ONE STAR REVIEW. However, I feel it is necessary to warn business owners. We had/have used their services at several locations. We had an instance of missed services (which I understand can happen), but we had to catch it in order to get refunded. However, most of my frustration comes from billing practices that will “nickel and dime” you to death. They will charge for overages every single opportunity and will try to charge you even more to get our of their contract. We have properties in many other cities/municipalities and have never seen this type of practice before. Watch your bills and beware before getting into a contract with Republic.

Our business was about to cancel our service, no questions, after we had received our last bill. Seeing all the overages we were being charged and talking to their customer services reps and them not willing to work with us at all was the last straw. The charge to schedule a pick up was astronomical along with weekly overage charges. None of this was justified. Chris Kolbe reached out to me and I at first had my mind made up and did not want to meet with him. He requested to please just let him have a sit down with me. I did and I am so glad I did. He was able to reduce our bill substantially along with getting us back some credits on non justified charges. Because Chris urged to meet with me we ended up not switching our services. He was so helpful and so kind about the whole situation and he even helped us get the yards we needed for garbage and recycling to help keep our costs down. Our business can't thank Chris enough for meeting with us. We are happy to continue doing business with them. Thank you so much!

Called to understand why my bill has been increasing considerably over the last several billing cycles, proceeded to tell me that I have been double charged for the last 3 years and there is nothing that they can do about it now. Even attempted to keep my service through them once they corrected it and asked if they could correct my most current bill, seeing that it would be roughly $100 cheaper. Told me there was nothing they could do until the next billing cycle. Immediately canceled my service. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

We have used Randy's for several years with no problem.. we had suddenly been getting billed for 2 residents and linked to a 3rd account. and when I called to get the problem fixed, the customer service person was rude and argumentative with no apology offered and no real way to fix the problem except to email someone else. Canceled service

Terrible customer service. We've had our Christmas tree out on the curb since Jan 1st. Feb 1st, still no pickup. All the other neighbors have switched to Walter's except us, and their trees are gone. Called Republic today, and they said, "Sorry, next pickup is in April." I now know why Maple Grove isn’t using Republic/Randys anymore.

I would give them a 0 star if it was possible. We had there dumpster service for approx 1 yr and in that time our monthly bill increased around $68/month. When I called and asked I was told it was the fuel surcharge. I totally get it. Fuel went up! But I'm not the only dumpster in our small town. And everyone was paying that fee!! Pretty good profits I say! Now as I have cancelled my service and I paid what I thought was my final bill I'm now charged $358.92 for removal of my dumpster and environmental fees!! Stay away from this company!! They are money hungry and nothing but trouble!!

I will give zero if I can. I called two months ago because I received a competing offer from another trash pick-up service company. The sale promised a price match, but said that the new price has to start from the next quarter. I explicitly guaranteed that the price match is exactly on all out-of-pocket cost. So I declined the other offer and stayed with the Republic services. But after two month, when they sent the new invoice, they asked for the original price. I called the service, then they said that there are other fees associated with the service, and those cannot be reduced. So they broke the previous agreement and the price remains the same. I have closed this account and stopping using their service. But I want to say that this company has some problem in their credit and you need to be careful about it.

Satisfied 15-year Randy's Sanitation customer. What Republic Services has done since the acquisition is akin to purchasing a new car and then pushing it off a cliff. From missed pick-ups, to extra charges, to rude local staff, issues that never existed are now common. Do yourself a favor a find a different sanitation service, there are multiple alternatives. On a positive note, the customer service representative I talked with when I cancelled my service was polite and helpful during the process.

Always excellent service when taking items to this site like mattresses and other households. Found out today when I took items they are closing permanently. Super sad, and have always appreciated Bill who checks you in and kindly helps unload your items. I hope he is treated well and provided a comparable position in the transition as he has always been great with customers.

We have been customers since 1998. They have been great for the whole time. Our one complaint is that we have to call each week to request the yard waste pickup on Thursdays. Before Republic purchased them, the phones were answered quickly and it was not a big deal to call. Now, it takes much longer to get a person to request the pickup. We do not have the luxury of time to wait on hold. So, why doesn’t Republic allow us to schedule our yard waste pick up on line? Randy’s should have set it up that way a long time ago.
