Tim was great throughout the whole process. Found some parts I needed through car-parts website. He doubled check and verified if they were still available before making the 1.5hr drive out there. He gave him a tour of the place when I arrived and free admission pass to lurk around the vehicles. I found a radio that I had struggle to find for years and they had one sitting in the yard for a while. He let me pull it out and buy it for a very reasonable price with the risk of working or not. But I had faith it would work and my wife would be happy to have her original radio working again. Sure enough the thing turned on and it’s been working like charm for the past couple months now. The staff I encounter were all nice as well. Shout out to Tim for the great hospitality and sale process too. I’ll be back soon again to buy more parts.
Stranded side of the road weekend just hours away they came through , taking a personal interest and we were from canada ! Possibly stranded on side of the road for the weekend can't say enough about there caring concern and going beyond what 5 other shops who we contacted did.
Very reasonable pricing, the guys at the the counter are very knowledgeable about anything car parts, and were a pleasure to work with and helped me find everything we needed
We called in advance to reserve the part we needed. Over the phone, we were assured it was in stock. We drove almost 100 miles one way, wasting time, gas, and nerves - only to find out upon arrival that the part was not available. Complete disregard for customers and a total lack of organization. Very disappointed, would not recommend.
Came and got some part for my Lincoln aviator and David had great customer service and help me get all the parts I needed will be back if I need more parts thanks David
Good inventory which they update regularly, clean and user friendly website. But anytime you have to call the parts staff are always super rude and condescending, like you’re inconveniencing them by trying to buy a part. Also very dismissive and talk over you.
Came to buy a radiator, called to see if it was pulled and told them I was on the way, got there an hour and a half later and David who I spoke to on the phone was being very pushy and rude, got there and he started being an ass, think he likes arguing with children, he told me I’m banned and not to come back over me calling them 2 times
Very helpful!! I work in auto part sales, had a customer come in for a difficult part to find, I had talked to a gentleman at French Lake and he gave me a number to call since they didn’t have it. Only two of these certain alternators in the whole country, I was able to find one with the number he gave me. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t think I would’ve been able to find it. So thank you so much!!
I bought a used 460 engine off them on eBay for $1,000 delivered. Needed one set of rings replaced. Changed the core plugs to brass and installed a marine cam. Got my 1978 jet boat back on the water by Memorial Day while the machine shop was taking their sweet time on the original motor. Delivered to my house within a week of payment!
Poor communication, I called multiple times to schedule them to come out and look and my Dad's old trucks, they always told me that the owner was out and they would call when he came back they never did. I wouldnt go to them for buisness
Dave and Kody found a great set of tires for me. They didn't have them at the moment, but said they would hold a set when they came in. They didn't have my info but even after a few months they had a set waiting for me!

This will be my second time buying parts from this establishment. Kody As always went above and beyond to make sure parts get out and communicate back-and-forth with customers. I ordered a front differential for my 2007 Tahoe and I had no issues with the part. It was shipped really fast and well packaged. Thanks again.
Been buying from this place for over 4 years.. Spent quite a bit of money... This last time though I got the impression my request was a waste of there time since I was asked "Whats it worth to you" I needed a few clips for some window trim was willing to pay over $50 bucks for just two clips and was given the runaround.. Was then told "We have to think about the labor" Really it took me all of 10 minutes to remove the trim.. I even sent them a photo and where the screws were.. Three weeks later was told, sick, short weeks, holidays.. I get it however don't lead off with "Whats it worth to you" You are the seller not me.. Perhaps the people working there have changed because thats not the customer service I received in the past.. Doesn't make a whole lot of since since they are in the business of making money not excuses.. Guess I will be taking my business elsewhere..
I ordered a hard to find transmission from David Becker. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a business. Great knowledge, great customer service. Now you can get parts and go but visit the yard if you have time! Lots of amazing classics you don't get to see anywhere else. Tugs on the heart strings to see cars like that in the yard but they'll keep other classics on the road. Thanks again French Lake Auto! I'll definitely stop by again for the nostalgia!!
Parts that were shipped were not as pictured. There was a missing turn signal lens cover and the hood ornament that was not sent even though I have an email confirmation from Kody that stated all parts pictured of the front end assembly would be sent.
Good communication until I had an issue and then was ghosted with no response.
The rest of the parts were as described so I can't complain too much but the customer service from Kody could certainly be improved. (Not the nicest fella on the phone but that's pretty much the norm nowadays).
Got two new rims for my car here for a little over the price of one at every other place I called. I ended up a few bucks short because I didn't take tax into consideration and they gave me a 10 dollar discount so I could afford the rims. No help or greeting when entering. Give your info, describe the parts you want, and go out in the yard with printouts. Guys in the yard were super helpful. They should have a tip jar.

A few years back. I was looking to shake out a car deal with French Lake Auto Parts Inc. When I was assisted by their technicians I was treated with the utmost respect. Actually the title and sales team together did a great job. In conclusion I did not purchase the vehicle I was looking to purchase. It was not due to their team at all. I simply found a vehicle more to my liking.
Amendment 7-30-2020; 1971 VW Beetle found its way to us. To only be brought from the Steel Grave Yard and Recycling . On it's way to the California Beaches again !
I recently purchased a used engine from them on ebay that was described as a "Good Runner" with only 71,000 miles. When I received the engine I immediately noticed they had taken a grinder to 3-4 spots on the engine and I thought that was strange. When I got it in the shop under the bright lights and took a closer look I realized they had ground the partial vin #s off the block and heads which is Illegal under federal law. Having a feeling I just got JACKED, I took a closer look before contacting the seller. It still had several quarts of nasty oil in it which probably had 71,000 miles on it. Not to mention that all fluids are supposed to be removed before shipping! Upon further inspection it was obvious that this engine did not have 71,000 miles. More like 171k+! When I contacted them they first denied grinding the vin off then later said the engines don't have vins!! Then they went on to accuse me of it. They also said that I couldn't return it and the warranty was void because I tampered with it when all I did was take a quick peek inside to check the condition of the internals! STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! As far as I'm concerned they are running a chop shop and as many others have said, they are rude, condescending and very unprofessional!!
