I brought my friend to retrieve her vehicle at the scheduled interview time in Lonsdale (8:00 am). We arrived a half hour early at the address she was given. The only evidence that other people have been sent here is the sign in the door that the business here has no affiliation with AWR. I’m about convinced that this company and the credit union that sent us here after receiving her check are involved in a scam.
This company allows employees to continually harass people who have had vehicles towed. The manager of the company does not care what his employees do and will side with them even if you have video proof. Shady company. Extremely shady employees and management.

So this morning, I say a tow truck driver (Benny something) towing a rav 4, blue the wrong way to the yard. Its an all wheel drive vehicle. Now I know its now of my business, but when you are laughing st the person your repossession the vehicle of because of a personal grouch against someone's is okay for a company to have as there person towing cars. Just saying, not a good company image
I was on the side road and lock my keys in my truck I had just bought a couple days prior. Carl stopped out of his kind heart and opened the door for us. We were working with the Electric Scooter company in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Thanks Carl
Your company came through our neighborhood in the middle of the night, driving erratically, speeding up and down every street, waking everyone up. Be more respectful when you're driving around with your company name on your truck.
Today I dealt with AWR and everyone was pleasant and easy to work with.
The girl I spoke to on the phone was understanding and friendly; was also easy to talk to and we had a few laughs.
My tow truck driver, Carl, was the absolute best! He had to pick my car up yesterday afternoon and went above and beyond to pick me up from my home today and take me to pick it up, in his own vehicle. He made promises to me and kept them.
I had a great overall experience with them.
Worst repo company I've ever heard of. Owed 1900 on a car and it got towed without notice, paid 2800 to get the car back and still had to wait until the next day to "make an appointment" to get my car released, only to be told the next day VERY RUDELY that they haven't even processed the paperwork. So I had to wait another THREE HOURS before they sent someone out to A RANDOM LOT they were renting from someone else just to walk through the mud to get our car back, which had a nice dent in the back passenger door like someone wacked it with a ball peen hammer. WORST ATTITUDES AND SERVICE IVE EVER SEEN IN 27 YEARS!
Despite the unfortunate circumstance I was in (to I take full accountability for), AWR still provided a very professional and friendly service. Brittany and April who I spoke with, both explained their process, systems, and options on their end. Along with, advice to make the process smoother. At no point did I feel as a customer in the circumstance I was in that I was being judged, treated rudely, or unfair.
For a company that takes a risk daily and has to handle customers in negative situations, I give this business 5 stars as they went above and beyond my expectations to provide a quality service.
