Matt Maloney rescued my teammate and I from being stranded on the side of the highway in -25 degree weather. Could have easily died. matt has a great attitude and is built for this kinda of deal. I was in a one car accident and when the sheriff called for a tow it was after dark when Matt Maloney picked up my van and trailer and delivered it to his shop. To help my family he made sure they knew I was okay. He made sure to bring me to my sons home safe that night. My experience was positive and I thank all the people on duty that night. I don't want to be in another accident. But it's nice to know there are caring people in the towing business when you need them.
Great service! We had a wheel come off on Highway 60 coming into Madelia and called these guys. They got here fast and had us back on the road pretty quickly. Huge thank you to Maloney Towing!
I dont think I’ve Ever left a review before, but after my experience with Maloney’s, I felt Compelled to say Something !! I’m an OTR Owner/Operator of a Big Rig tractor trailer. Last Thursday afternoon (11-13) I was coming I-90 in southern Minnesota, when out of No Where, the engine just Quit running at about 70 mph !! i managed to coast the truck onto the next off ramp, but i quickly noticed, I’m in the middle of nowhere !! Only 1 Bar on my cell phone service, just before Dark, and the Temp. is Dropping Fast. with No Engine, I’ve got No Heat !!! I Needed a Tow Truck & a quick google search only showed 2 companies in this area. The 1st one I called was on a call out of town & wouldnt be able to help me. The 2nd one I called was Maloney’s, & That was how i met Matt Maloney. I KNEW I was in Big trouble out in the middle of No Where & Temps dropping. No Engine,, No Heat !! Matt was quick to reassure me, and offered to send someone to get me to a local motel, as He was in the middle of working an Accident with local Police. After his reassurance, I decided to Stay with my truck because i had Plenty of Blankets, and Matt Promised he would NOT leave me out there Stranded !! He Stayed in Constant contact with me Throughout the evening through text & Phone calls. After a few hours, We just decided I would be ok, & Daylight would be Better to handle this tow. Crack of Dawn, Matt was there. I can’t tell you HOW Grateful I was, That He kept his Word !!! Rare these Days !! Tow went Smoothly, Because of Matt’s experience. Took the truck over to Freighliner Dealership in Fairmont. Because the trailer was Loaded, & I had a Delivery scheduled for that day, I Now had a 2nd problem of trying to get another truck up here to deliver this load ASAP. Again, Matt had some suggestions for me, and after discussion, i need to fly down to Charlotte,NC & bring back another truck to deliver this trailer. Matt went Above & Beyond, and offered me a ride to the local airport transit service, to get me to Minneapolis Airport. I’m NOT writing this review to tell others about the Quality of the Service of Maloney’s, it was Second to None. I’m More Motivated to Share the HONESTY & INTEGRITY of an Owner of a local small business, That made sure I Safe & Secure. This is HOW I met Matt Maloney. Just a Chance meeting of two business guys, Trying to support families. I could tell from the moment I met Matt, That HIS WORD mattered to him !! THAT,, Impressed me. if you are Ever passing through Southern Minnesota & are in need of a Towing Service, Maloney’s Towing should be Your ONLY call. Thanks Matt, For helping another Human Being to feel Safe & Comfortable in Stressful Situation.
Matt came to rescue as my college son’s car died over 600 miles from home. He was so fast to respond & connect with him to get the car back home. Above & beyond service as he had to drive 1200 miles round trip. Other tow services I called either weren’t open or were unwilling to help. Not Matt & for that we are so thankful. Not sure there is a better towing service out there. 5+ stars every day of the week.
Matt and his crew have always been fast and reliable no matter what the road conditions are they will be there to help you out! I own a fleet of trucks and he is number 1 on my call list to call! Highly recommend
When my son's car broke down 90 min from college on a Saturday night, Matt came to the rescue! 2 other companies told me to call back Monday! Matt was there quick and also transported passengers off dangerous, dark freeway when I couldn't. He was an angel that night and ppl don't appreciate how important a good tow company is in an emergency situation. Price is more than fair when you know how desolate the area is. Highly recommend.

Maloney Towing came to our rescue while we were taking a trip to Missouri, we got as far as 2 hours away and we needed a tow truck. Matt (owner) said he would come and get the camper and also bring us back to the area we lived. He also found a shop to take the motorhome to get repaired. Top notch service from Maloney Towing , I would recommend his services to anyone!!

The worst experience ever. The guy called Matt came out in a lawnmower. I just came to pick up a vehicle of a friend. He started telling us you need communication. Do you not know what communication is. Yes we are a Towing company but we don't work 24 hors. You need to call and make an appointment. Anyone needs to call and make an appointment. I told him I understood that when it's at a Towing company I need to call ahead. Obviously but he was telling me and talking to me as if I was ignorant. Sorry but this kind of people is what hurt good businesses. Then saying we'll even if you come and pay I won't give it to you. Took him and found out he was lying he was there at the place. Just the price went up instead of 250 to release it was more. Typical people who just take advantage of people. In response to the owners no thank you I would not like to call for any service from you guys. The way I was treated was beyond disrespectful and honest to God wish I never have to deal with people like this. I understand the having to call and make an appointment that was not the issue. The issue was Matt being rude disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Specially the having to charge more to release the vehicle and the tone in which he was literally making fun of the situation. I have the car and you needed the car. Lucky i was short on time and didn't want to call the police myself. Because I would never threaten someone to call the cops I just call and have them figure it out. I don't play with people who are rude and unprofessional. If you guys think that changing the price is an ok practice then great for you all. Have a good day but never will I ever go back to you guys or recommend your services.
I called the police in St. James, MN because my truck went off of the side of the road and into mud. The police called this towing truck to tow us out of the mud, then hung up the phone with me before telling me who they called or how much it would be. The towing company never called me to confirm any information. They came and towed us out then demanded $1250 immediately. I wasn’t prepared for that type of bill. I asked for time to call my insurance to see if they can help, the tow truck driver told me that I have 5mins to do so. As soon as I started to call, he was already hooking up the truck. I offered half up front and the rest by 3pm the same day. The truck driver, who was extremely rude to me might I add, said no. He towed my truck away and told me that it would be an additional $300-$400 on top of the $1250 for towing and storage. I feel blindsided and scammed by this company. I hope this serves as a warning to someone so you don’t let it happen to you.
My Semi broke down and I was able to get it to a truck stop. I called Maloney because they where closest. Matt told me he would be there the next day at noon. Well, nothing at noon. I called and spoke to someone else. This person needs some customer service skills. I was told we have cars in ditches and blocking roads that take precedent. Sure, that's possible. I was told they would be there later. Four hours later, I come back to get the trailer. Still not towed. leave truck there. Matt calls Sunday."I will get it to the shop by Monday". My truck was brought to the shop WEDNESDAY!! Call someone else for truthful service.
My friend drove in the ditch during a white out. #Maloney Enterprises had quick follow up with myself due to my friend's phone was at 2%. Ummm whoops! Lol All and all my friends were rescued out of the ditch and able to restart the car to get to safety in a timely manner.
My son blew a tire on the highway but we were not sure if the rim was bent as well. Our road side assistance tried to find someone in Mankato to come and service the car. They were unable to find anyone willing to come on a Saturday morning with exception of Maloney enterprise. He drove 30 minutes from Madelia to help us.
Matt was beyond wonderful. He was incredibly kind and extremely helpful. Not only did he pull our vehicle out of the ditch, but he went the extra mile and even helped us fill our tires after finding a nail in one! I would recommend Matt to anyone!!
GREAT service. I called for a tow and they were very friendly and empathetic. They care about the customer! The experience was perfect. I will definitely be calling them anytime I need a tow.
