Always a good experience. My only recommendation is don't go when they first open, huge backup.

Super helpful and quick staff. Great to be able to drop off flattened cardboard.

Great job by the team there who receives the items in the drop off area. They move quickly and keep the line of cars moving along at a good pace. There was a line of about 8 cars when I got there but I was in and out of there within 10 minutes. The road signs that are placed around the facility really help to direct you exactly where you need to go. Great flow and good layout keeps things moving along.

Great place for Washington and Ramsey countries residents to recycle many, many things. Call if you have recycling questions.

The Environmental Center is a great service to the community. It's very easy to drop off waste, recycling, compost, and more. Plus you can pickup usable materials in the reuse room for free. It's always a good idea to check here for painting supplies, cleaners, or other supplies before buying them elsewhere.

Cheerful courteous helpers when I dropped off my paint and battery. I went inside and even though it was 15 minutes to closing time the two ladies that were working on Saturday afternoon were very courteous and pleasant and helpful. They never made me feel rushed and it was a very positive experience and quick to check out.

Convenient recycling and re-purposing location for hazardous materials. My wife hates this place because they let me bring home more stains and paints and we don't have room for them. They also have free books here that I think are taken out of circulation from the library. We also don't have room for those.

We dropped off a huge load of cardboard and as the van sat, the lower radiator hose popped off. An employee, Brandon, helped us get it back on and brought us a bucket of water to refill it. His help was greatly appreciated!

This is a nifty little place that's an awesome resource to have nearby to recycle things you don't need. And the coolest part is that you can get paints and chemicals that people don't want but are still good for free. They also have a little section of books.

Me & bf went. Found a lot of usable stuff we needed. Was pretty low on polyurethane which was my main goal. Helpers were very nice and had no problems. In & out. Sweet.

I had a better experience researching this place and speaking to the phone staff, than my first time actually being there. They're available by phone if you have any questions, even when they're closed. They accepted our old box tvs and lawnmowers (gas drained). The drive through line moved fairly quickly when we arrived even though they were busy. Unfortunately, the unloading staff were incredibly rude and disrespectful. One woman was literally huffing and puffing, muttering under her breath the entire time she was assisting us. She made it VERY apparent that she was irritated, and spoke to us with disdain. Another man was very recklessly unloading things: dead dropping heavy items in our van, dragging items out scratching up our floor, hitting parts of the van through sheer carelessness. He made it a point to try and damage our van, and also had a very sour attitude when he did finally speak to us because he didn't know how to close our door. We had planned on browsing their free room afterwards, but were so in shock, disgusted and upset by the way we were treated, we couldn't leave quick enough.

Friendly and efficient staff! Quick and painless process- and free. I brought fluorescent bulbs, paint, stain, microwave, convection oven, and some paint thinner too.. they asked for my zip code and I never even had to get out of my car— felt like the goodwill drop off line but faster and easier and the staff were so so friendly:) highly recommend!

So happy they take electronics, etc. Less for the landfills! And there's a big supply of free paint, cleaning products, etc. Sometimes there's a wait to unload your stuff but they have a good system and the wait isn't bad.

Easy drop off, line was long but moved quickly, less than 10 minutes total. Also have a self service area to recycle household metals etc. Was able to recycle my old patio furniture. Great facility and great staff!!

The Washington County Recycle Center is pretty awesome. They provide a great service with great service. It is disappointing that they do not accept items from small businesses though. My small 8,000 sq ft building pays $60,000/yr in property tax and yet we are not able to recycle fluorescent light bulbs here. All of this stuff has to be recycle somewhere. The county should accept this.

Quick, courteous and hard working staff. I am grateful this place exists and thankful for what they do! Efficient drop off process and clean, organized looking facility.

Still open for drop offs with added protections for COVID-19. Staff was quick, friendly, and courteous. Long lines resulted in about 20 minute wait before getting to drop off point.

Always easy in and out, they take most everything, but check the website first. Covid restrictions in place make the lines a little longer and slower but they do a great job. Check out their free reuse center for your DIY paint/stain project!

Free! Great spot to drop paint and auto chemicals, friendly staff. With the new Covid rules, line was out to the street but it only took 20 minutes to get through and drop my waste. Nice to see they take old TVs too.

I love this place and frequent it often. The reuse store has books, spray paint, wall paint in quart, gallon and even 5 gallon pails, wood stain , automotive fluids, deck wash, wall paper remover, tile grout, paint stripper, weed killer, cleaning products and so much more! I even saw a fake xmas tree once! If your lucky they'll push in a new cart of stuff before you leave and you can take one....last....look before you go. I never go looking for something specific like a certain paint or color because that's when they won't have it but if you are flexible with what you need then there is a good chance you'll find something that will work. They fill the shelves throughout the day so if the shelves look bare just give them a few minutes and they may push in a fresh cart for the pickin's. Oh, and when you drop things off to be recycled, you don't even have to get out of your vehicle. They come get it out for you! But if you drop stuff off you have to have an I.D. The staff there is awesome too!! Always nice and helpful. There is a form you fill out before you leave but it's pretty simple and self explanatory. Have fun looking around and please make sure to clean up after yourselves. They keep it clean and so should we!

I'm giving them a 3 because recycling is great and they seem nice, however nowhere on the website does it say that you have to be a MN resident to recycle your items here, nor does anyone tell you on the phone (I called twice to make sure I could recycle a 47" TV) I drove out of my way (about 30 minutes) to bring my TV here and because I wasn't a MN resident, they wouldn't take it. I asked, "Why?" and their response was a shrug with no suggestions as to where I should take my TV to dispose of it properly.

I am a single income, first time home owner and this has been an invaluable resource for me. My 101 year old fixer-upper needs a lot of cosmetic work and the recycling center has made it possible to do a lot of it for free. Free paint by the five gallon bucket full! Free gallons/pints/spray cans of paint. Free varnish and stains. Free cleaning solutions, pesticides and plant nutrients. It is different every time! I got a 40 lbs bag of ice melt once. Very clean and bright. Pleasant staff. Residents from neighboring counties are welcome. Parking is free and located in front of the door with handicap access.

Clean organized location with excellent service and friendly staff. Drop off is generally very fast and doesn't require you to get out of your vehicle. Always have had a good experience. Only wish the hours of operation for this location were just a little longer and open all week. Other than that, it is great having this facility for recycling electronics, paints, and chemicals and not just letting them get thrown away.

I was just here on Saturday to drop off a load of recyclables and had a great experience. They literally swarmed my trailer and had a great attitude, despite being 8AM on a Saturday. Very friendly people. Keep up the good work.

Went here to pick up some paint and drop off some paint that I had from before. And the paint that I got for the most part was excellent and pretty much new there was one paints that was no good but otherwise they had spray paint I was very very impressed with their products that they had and all the different colors and stuff available and that they're doing as a service to help our environment was really great

I come here at least 3 times a year. Always in and out very quickly. Love their free store. Get lots of paint and stain there.
