Placed an online order, it was filled very quickly. Came in to pick it up and had some questions, Samantha was very nice and helped me make sure I got exactly what I ordered. This is my second time buying there both experiences excellent.
We arrived from out of town on a Sunday to a dead car battery. After a jump we ended at Advanced Auto Parts and were fortunate to meet Samantha. We had stopped at Auto Zone first(it was the closest) and summarily were dismissed with a “we can’t install a battery because of a piece over the battery”
Samantha at advanced Auto Parts to the rescue, quickly changed the battery and was a delight!
Samantha, Chad, Jamie, and Gil were fantastic! They taught me how to change my oil, provided a clear quote, and made sure I had all the information I needed. Super helpful, professional, and kind. Highly recommend their service!
I've been dealing with these guys that are great guys they can find everything you need and they will do everything they possibly can there's no bunch of better guys there and I've ever dealt with in any parts store in Stillwater there is no better in town
I am sure this will Ruffle some feathers but Other then Vern and maybe one other fella I don't like this store. Lazy people, over priced, unaccomadating, unwilling to learn and incompetent. Apparently only one person in the whole store knows how to use the hydraulic hose machine. Because it's so complicated? Gtfo Lazy old folks that don't gaf.

An adorable pup was there the day we visited there. Friendly staff works there, they have the cleaner we needed since St. Paul Advance Auto Parts ran out of that product.

As someone who know very little about cars, fantastic customer service is a must. I'm here to learn! I also make a lot of rookie mistakes! A lovely older gentleman went above and beyond to help me out yesterday while helping me pick out a new tire pressure gauge. After I tried it out in the parking lot and had some trouble, I went back in to ask a few questions. He happily put on his coat and gently corrected my technique on a cold January night. Then he asked me if I'd like to return the gauge I just bought because "I want you to feel comfortable with the tools you're using." I was so appreciative.
This place has the most knowledgeable parts people in the Stillwater area. If the they do not know what you need they will look it up or ask others. I have never left this store unsatisfied.
The older gentleman working today was literally a life saver. We were pulling a pop up camper heading home from Apple River and the wheel bearing on the camper crapped out on us. It’s a Sunday. Most places are not open...they were. We needed to get back to SD and he put all of his energy into helping us. He was determined to get us home safely. We were going to leave the camper and end up coming back so I left my phone number on a sticky note which he found and called when we were about half way home. Said he felt like he needed to make the call. An angel.....I wish I would have remembered his name. I might just call to find it out and thank him again. There are good people in this world.
Giving this store one star because zero wasn’t an option. Arrived there ten minutes prior to the published closing time just to pick up a part that I had already prepaid for. The sign was turned off and the door was locked. There was a gentleman standing inside so I knocked on the door. He scowled at me, shook his head “no” and turned his back to me. I knocked again and held my paid receipt up to the glass. He looked, scowled and walked away. A parts delivery person came back about that time. I explained the situation and he explained that the guy inside was the boss and there was nothing he could do. I was welcome to come back in the morning. That isn’t happening, or any other purchases from this place. I called corporate Advance Auto Parts, had my money refunded and took my business elsewhere.
Not a lot of shelf space alot of stuff hidden in the back Store is way too small and some of the things I have needed thay do not have or carry in the store
But the guys that work thare are nice to talk to
My store is two small and not varry well stocked maby that is thare policy I only go thare if I have to walk if the truck is torn apart +thay do not deliver to residents all and all just go to O'reillys
This is very nice auto parts store. Staffs were very friendly and helped me a lot to find right parts. He exchanged the parts that did not fit in my car.
