Amazing! We were at Applebee's on Sunday with a dead battery! Called O'Reilly and talked to Casey. He confirmed he had a battery, then asked if we needed a jump and I said yes, he said he'd be there in a minute I said are you kidding? Nope in less than 5 minutes he was at our car! He got us jumped and we followed him back to the store. My husband went in with him, I didn't want to shut the car off, next thing I know he's removing the old battery and installing the new one. Casey was so amazing. He was kind, caring, professional and more. I am so grateful for him and O'Reilly for providing fantastic service.

Manager Tony & staff went ABOVE & BEYOND!! Battery died, right before a family trip and came in and staff took care of everything, even helped with installation!! Highly recommend this location!!

This is oddball, but goes to show why this location deserves 5-stars..... I came in on a Sunday afternoon, not with a car part need, but having been all over town trying to find a specific set of sealed bearings for a pool pump motor -- it was a bit of an emergency need. I had the old bearings with me, explained my situation, and the employee not only listened, but jumped into action to help. We had the manufacturer's part number for the bearing (which was a decade+ old). I knew it was in one of your competitor's databases, but that they were a week+ for delivery. He cross referenced the competitor's part number, found the O'Reilly part #, went digging in the back, and found the pair I needed. He gave me ample time to compare the new part to the original to ensure it was the same size. He was very patient with my odd request, and so eager to help. I forgot the catch the employee's name, but kudos - amazing work sir! You saved my skin the Sunday before Mother's Day so that our pool had a week to circulate and warm up so momma bear could use the pool on her big day. Replacement bearings - $10ea vs Fully replacing the motor - $500+ Amazing! Contributing to an extra special Mother's Day - Priceless. Thanks guys, keep up the amazing service! Ha! The only thing I wish I had thought of -- I didn't think to ask, and I'll be forever curious what vehicle-related purpose the bearings I purchased were intended for. Maybe I'll never know, but I *do* know they are amazing and quiet in my pool pump.

I went in for some headlights because one of mine was burnt out. I delt with some girl named mari or something like that and she told me it would be more beneficial to go to Walmart, Amazon, or auto zone because they would be cheaper...... I thought you worked at oreillys not auto zone, walmart, or Amazon. Needless to say I had to come back a different day when she wasn't working because she would not sell me my hid headlights... who gets a job at a store and sends customers to the competitors instead? Like what? If I could give her 0 stars I would.

Worst customer service ever since I been a O'Reilly Part supporter but this is by far my 1st and last officially changing over to Auto Zone. Story to explain why the change over. My viecheal that I am repairing is in Cottage Grove so makes sense to buy parts there so don't have to make to many stops. I called the O'Reilly Part store in Cottage Grove before I left my house in Saint Paul and was put on hold the 1st time. Had to stop and get fuel for the car and was pu on hold the 2nd time which was 17 minutes. Then after fueling up and going towards Cottage Grove was then put back on hold the 3rd time which was 25 minutes. I pull into the parking lot of O'Reilly and was answered to finally get helped. I asked for the manager in the flore and he stated it was him which his name is Noah Stoven. I said ok this is ridiculous I've been on hold now for 35 minutes. I just pulled in I'm coming in well talk more. I go into the store and say ok this is ridiculous I've been on hold for 35 minutes this don't make any sense. Retail or any type of business is all about customer satisfaction why am I put on hold for 35 minutes walk into the store and you can help me with no issue customers in the store waiting to be helped. He stated he is the only person on the floor so he is busy n had to put me on hold. I replied with a that's not my fault your district manager should hire more employees then so we or I as a customers won't be dissatisfied with being put on hold for 35 minutes. I left to go to Auto Zone the turned back around to go get his name he stated his name and I said no I want it on paper so I don't forget it and also the corporate number. He said the number you can get it online and he wrote his name on paper and I grabbed it from him and left to Auto Zone. I went to Auto Zone and was greeted and helped no more then 5 minutes and they had 2 employees on the floor. I was out of there within 15 minutes max. I'm officially done with O'Reilly Auyo Parts and going to support Auto Zone from now on. Their customer satisfaction is by far more better there keeping all the customers satisfied ?.

Don't expect a refund for things you pay for. 3pm I went to do return 40$ worth of parts and was told I couldn't refund my items. They had 200$ of cash on hand but they couldn't give me back what they took from my hand. Breach of return policy

This has been the second time I’ve had a bad encounter with nick , first one he wouldn’t help and then fought with the older driver who tried to get him to help us and when he came in from a personal phone call he told the man off in front of us , I was not going to let that fly and argued with him to the point he told me off , I spoke to managers and nothing was done , he has now slandered me to my customers and today I went in for parts and to confront him about the issue and he told me off and started to argue with me again , they can sell their parts to someone else I’ll take my account and business elsewhere , way to nick great employee. I will also be taken this to the next level for slandering my business.

I was in the store just trying to get some part’s. A customer came up and ask Nick if they could talk about something that must of happened. Nick said no and started screaming and cussing at this customer getting in his face. thought they were going to fight right there in the store. I don’t know but that’s no way to treat customers that are buying from your business. Very unprofessional employee.

Andrew is the real king here, avoid Nick. Andrew was helping a line of 5 people 15 min before closing. Kindly asked his colleague Nick for some help and was told to get bent he was on break. Used to be a weekly customer, today was the last day I’ll spend money at this location. Enjoy your break Nick. Keep up the hard work Andrew, hope you get a colleague that works with you soon, not one that doesn’t care about you or your patrons. Didn’t help Nick that after I paid and was leaving he felt the need to ask me if I wanted to go out back and settle things. What a professional way to treat customers.

I was sold something that's not even for my car. The sales agent Albert was very rude . I have to come back drove 20 miles to return it. And he did not even apology. I asked him if you have a web site where I can review he said he don't know. . I had to pull this web site and found where I could review..later on I found out he had given me a wrong name. I'm a regular at the store and these guys have always been knowledgeable and helpful. Very rarely has it happened that I was there and I was waiting for more than 5 minutes in the checkout line but with covid and the new employment challenges that fact alone is impressive considering the auto parts place across the street had to close early for weeks in a row because they didn't have enough help. This O'Reilly is literally my first go-to place when I'm purchasing new Auto parts and when I need to borrow a tool they have a loaner program they're extremely easy to get along with when it comes to their owner tool program as well. I will continue to do my auto parts shopping at this Cottage Grove O'Reilly's as long as I live in this area.

Great location, not hard to get to. He was very open and honest with my questions. I asked why one oil filter was more expensive than the other. He explained that I'd be paying for the name. He asked me a few questions on how I drive the vehicle and said the lesser of the two would be more than needed. I really appreciate the honesty and being able to ask questions and not feel stupid. Definitely recommend. I hope this helps. Cheers.

The guy (probably early 20's) who was there on 1.9.16 was untrustworthy. Told us that the battery and alternator were bad, when In fact they were fine. He was just looking to scam. Due to his selfishness, he made a bad name for this store. We returned all items purchased and will be taking our business elsewhere. Honesty makes good business!!!! Try to remember that!
