Definitely worth the drive to Wabasha to visit the Eagke Center, have lunch and walk along the Mississippi. Spend the extra $5 for the Eagle presentation. We learned a lot and our granddaughters loved it.

Worth the stop and tour! Great way to spend a couple of hours admiring our national bird. Plenty of them to see both inside and out in the wild on the viewing deck.

It’s a peaceful spot with beautiful views of the Mississippi River, and there are even tours where you can see eagles in the wild. If you're into wildlife, it's definitely worth a stop! True hidden gem. Informational feeding time was great, well worth it.

Great information and fantastic eagle presentation! Knowledgeable and kind people were there to answer all questions. Would recommend if you want to learn more about eagles.

An amazing, hidden gem that we’ve been to twice now and will absolutely go to again. Their staff members are so knowledgeable and friendly. Learned more than I ever expected about American national birds not just inside the exhibit, where they have three, but also outside in the river valley, which is one of the best places to spot and observe eagles. You will definitely not want to miss this place if you are ever in the area!

I loved the presentation, I learned so much! And not just the the fact but the 'why' behind the fact. For example, the nest is roughly 6' wide because the parents are planning for full grown adolescent kids in just a few months. I had no idea they grew so fast. And I also appreciated Jared's "dad" jokes. While they could be corny his delivery and timing was solid. The rest of the center was great. There was a mixture of adult and child activities and facts. I especially liked the Indigenous People's and eagle conservationists sections. I'll end on thanking you for the work you are doing! While I think most of us want to see wild animals wild, these magnificent animals wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you because of their permanent injuries. Now they are saving their species in another way by educating us on their importance.

I loved the eagles inside that we were able to be close to. The person telling about them was very knowledgeable. I did think there was more to the center but not disappointed.

What a great place to visit with children. Very informative and lots of activities. Getting to see a real live eagle so close is pretty amazing too!

Great speakers talking about the Eagles that have been injured or in the wild. You can tell they love their job! Great place

I love this place! There is an informed staff who are pleasant and obviously really enjoy their work there. They have live eagles you can see (but behid glass so perfectly safe), examples of other wildlife (not live) so as to give an environmental look. Lots of information about eagles and how we can help preserve their habitat to keep them safe. There is also a wonderful display of Native American culture and the part the eagles play in it.

Came just in time for the eagle show. Learned things I didn't know about eagles from the very knowledgeable presenter. The eagle was fed rat tails during the presentation. We saw several eagles fly by the eagle center along the Mississippi river.

There are three live eagle ambassadors at the center for viewing. The staff are very knowledgeable of their ambassadors. The center also has a very informative live eagle meeting with one of the eagles. Extremely interesting.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. There's a wonderful raptor information talk in the second building. Recommend for all ages.

Such a marvelous place to visit to learn about the natives who once called this town home and to see and learn more about our national bird. The employees are so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. We had a wonderful visit, just wished we came earlier, but we happened upon this jewel of a place. They have scopes where you can see the eagles in the trees across the way. There are exhibits that pay respect to so many things eagle related and American, including how women contributed to the military. They tie it in beautifully. I'd love to visit again with my grandchildren. Kids and adults who really enjoy learning would likely really enjoy this place.

Not overwhelming exciting. The birds we did see are amazing! But a little costly and takes about 20 minutes to walk through. Beautiful setting.

What a great place to visit. Several live Eagles here that can not survive in the wild. Very interesting place.

This place is and always has been a great place to pass the time. You can't read it all in one visit. You would be there for months! Very educational and I love to see the rehabbed eagles that can't be released because of injury

It's a beautiful facility situated on the St. Croix River and some days you can see a number of eagles circling above the river outside! Inside, there is a museum that touches on the history of the area and of eagles in America. They have a handful of rescued eagles that you can see up close, but they are rather stationary and not that different than the stuffed ones within the museum. There are also a few activities for children indoor and out. My only suggestion would be that they include the educational eagle show in the price like they used to. As it's quite a small museum for $12 per person + an additional $5 per person for the eagle presentation.

Our visit to the National Eagle Center was truly incredible. We attended the Eagle Program and it exceeded all expectations. The presentation, led by Grant and Eagle Ambassador Latsch, was informative and engaging. Grant was a fantastic speaker. He was knowledgeable and passionate. Seeing a live eagle up close while learning about their habits, history, and importance to our ecosystem was an unforgettable experience. The entire facility is educational and respectful of the eagles it houses. This is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates wildlife, nature, or just wants to experience something special. Highly recommend!

Just visited and wow! What a gem of a museum! Lots of interactive elements to keep little ones occupied and very educational. How cool to see the eagle ambassadors up close in the viewing room! We upgraded our ticket to include the program and are so glad we did. Grant was exceptional and clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about eagles and conservation. Highly recommend!

What a gem while traveling up the mighty Mississippi, beautiful building right on the water with bald eagles flying overhead. Had a display of one of the recovery birds at the interactive session. Top-notched facilities and super friendly staff. This is not a national park, but presentation and quality are right there. Definitely worth the stop while heading north.

This is one of my favorite parks in one of my favorite small MN towns of Wabasha. It is an immaculately kept park that is right beside the Eagles museum. A spectacular view. A beautiful spot for a photo shoot.

The National Eagle Center visit was extraordinary! I booked the behind the scenes tour, and we were blown away. We were up close with the majestic ambassadors. Thanks to Tiffany, we learned quite a bit about each bird and also created enrichment for 3 of the ambassadors. We were so enamored that we adopted Angel, Perseus, and Was’aka! I would encourage you to visit the National Eagle Center. There are so many exhibits to see. They have many different tours including cruises, school field trips, and overnight field trips. I’m sure you will also find a memorable keepsake at the gift store.

It was fine. I want to say I felt it was a bit pricey for the level of content. But, I'm sure they do fine work for eagles so who am I to say what that takes. The aroma in the Eagle building was a lot upon entry. I didn't attend the Eagle show. Very pretty river views. If passing through, worth a stop.

Just a really cool place. Gorgeous views. Nice museum. Make sure you do the show/presentation. Get up close with a Bald Eagle. Very informative and presenter is very knowledgeable.

We had such a great experience visiting the center. It is a nice, modern exhibit, very interesting and educational. The highlight of the visit was the educational session with a live eagle. Well worth the money.

My wife is obsessed with eagles, so we traveled from Atlanta, Georgia just to visit the National Eagle Center. Everyone on staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We attended the program, which was excellent, but the best part was the behind the scenes tour. I can't recommend it enough. We got to see the ambassadors up close, learn more about each of them, make toys for them, and even made a snack for one of them. The staff gave us some awesome suggestions on places to stop as we headed back to our hotel in Minneapolis so we could watch for the eagles. It was an amazing experience we will never forget.

Educational and entertaining. Live eagle 🦅 ambassadors, plus up close eagle shows with impassioned workers who are knowledgeable and care about the birds. Learned a lot. Also enjoyed all the museum displays of anything even remotely eagle-related: art, comic books, cars, military, popular culture, hair combs, china, government items, movie posters, very impressive. Very nice native American pieces. Nice viewing decks overlooking the Mississippi River, and paths and statues along the river. Elevators and benches for resting for accessibility and restrooms on both floors. Ramps to get into both buildings.

Nice place to visit on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Able to observe 2 eagles in their observatory. Small center, Informational. There are not many hands-on stations for kids. We spent about 30 minutes here. The cost is $12 for adults. Little much for what you get.
