My son was heading to Camp Ripley for training, and he got a flat.
Ultimately, we towed the car to Rice Automotive, and they were nothing short of amazing to work with.
In the end, we needed all new tires, and I had them check the brakes. The rears required to be replaced. They were more than accommodating and helped me get my son's car back on track.
My son's sergeant came to pick him up because they had to go on a ruck, and understandably, they couldn’t wait. So Rice Automotive was more than accommodating to help me get things straight.
I might never be able to use them again, but if I did, I’d call them in a second.
This is the only mechanic that I will go to. They will never try to take advantage of you and they are very truthful plus the prices are extremely reasonable.
I am new to the community of Rice. They did a great job fixing my tire and we're very polite and professional. Brian is who I worked with and I look forward to doing business there in the future.
I have used Rice automotive for years. I went through about eight different garages in the St. Cloud area before I found this place. You can take your car here and trust that they will be honest with you and fix only what needs to be done and do so at a competitive price. After many trips to this garage with my old and new cars I have always been very happy with their service.
Great friendly place, guys are real nice. Didnt take to long. But, the prices were a bit high compared to what I normally pay. But then again this was a fix that had to get done right of way. My normal place and others were booked solid due to Christmas time. So I guess if I had to use them again it would have to be
on a emergency job only.
Fantastic mechanics and fair prices. Most importantly, honesty is the rule here. These are honest mechanics who do what actually needs to be done without trying to get you to add to the bill. Highly recommend!!
Brought my car in to have them look at my brakes. When they called me to let me know what the problem was they already installed new rotors and pads without asking me if I would like to have that done. Plus my car smelled like cigarette smoke when I picked it up.
These guys are great. No b.s.,no hassle. They don't try to sell you what you don't need. They know what they are doing. I rented a trailer to haul my vehicle to them from Princeton. Easily an hour drive, but worth the service.
EXCELLENT!!! I was told exactly what they thought the problem was... I was given very detailed plans as to what they were going to do and the price. Their labor charges are very reasonable and when I left I thanked Brian for all his work and honesty. Highly recommend that you use them for service!!!
Their is an angel who works here! My tire blew out passing by on HWY 10 and they went above and beyond to come assist me with my spare and sell me a replacement tire all under 1 hour. Honest good kind hearted people!
I was in a bind today and had a flat tire unexpectedly. I had to drive on my flat because all gas stations air compressors were out of order! He set me up with a new tire quickly and efficiently so I could still get to work on time for a reasonable cost! Thank you!

My 2009 Lexus died on Hwy 10 over a weekend and was towed here. I called them the next day and immediately could tell they were qualified and I felt confident they could make the necessary repairs. When I called later in the day he had already gotten the part delivered and installed and fixed it for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this garage! Great friendly experience!
Broke down and had a wheel bearing go out on the way home from a fishing trip, they were very helpful and friendly. They fit us into their busy day and had us back on the road in just over an hour!
