The staff was very knowledgeable and also very friendly. They were 100percent transparent with the repairs my vehicle needed. They also had a loaner car we got to use for free while ours was being repaired they are my new go to shop for repairs. 100% satisfied customer here. Jm auto you rock!!!!!

J&M Auto has outstanding mechanics and customer service. My car was towed there on December 22nd. Although I didn't like the outcome of needing a new motor, they were extremely helpful & honest, offering me a loaner car. Justin's customer service was extremely helpful. He kept me updated on the status of my car every day. He worked with the owner, Kevin, about giving me a loner car to use longer than anticipated. They also did an inspection on a used car I was looking at. I highly recommend J&M Auto for your automotive needs. 5 stars for sure. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff members are polite and treat you with respect. I didn't have to wait long for an appointment.

J&M has always taken good care in f my family’s vehicles. This last visit was no different. Brought vehicle in on day before new years. They diagnosed the issue, fixed it and I had it back 2 days later. They let me know how it was going every step of the way. If you are in the Eveleth/Virginia are and are in need of a service or diagnosis, I highly recommend this team of mechanics.

We recently had a Western Plow put on our truck at J.M. Auto. All of the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product. Kevin walked us through all the options and then showed us a run down on how to operate it once it was installed. The price was right and the service was great.

Jake was super kind, helpful, and did an awesome job! It was wonderful having a point of contact from start to finish (Starting with making the appointment, to reminders, updates, & checking in to see if we were satisfied at the end). Great customer service, great work. 10/10 would recommend this shop to everyone!

My first time at JM auto and it won’t be my last! Came in for an oil change that was easy to schedule, great price, and great service! Everyone was so personable!

Had a breakdown about 10 miles from my destination. I was 3 hours away from home. Water pump went out. It was midnight on Sunday by the time I had a reliable tow service pick me up and tow my truck to this shop. I had no previous knowledge or experience with this shop. From start to finish they were incredibly helpful. Even managed to get truck fixed the next day. No issues after the fact and I would highly recommend this shop. I learned later that they are a preferred shop in the area. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. If I lived closer I would come back again.

We are so pleased with J.M. Auto Service! Our son’s car died when he was set to leave the camp he worked at over the summer. He called them, they came and towed it to their shop to check it out. My son was stranded at camp without transportation (or food!) and when I called to check on the status and to.d them this, they were quick to fit his car in for testing and replaced the battery ASAP. Then, the courtesy driver picked him up at camp and brought him to the shop. Outstanding service, very friendly, and efficient. We are so thankful for the team at J.M.! Highly recommend!

I was there to get an alignment which they told me I needed a strut kit which they were going to charge me 150 or more to put in so I turned it down and they charged me for an alignment so I took it somewhere else and was informed that it can't be aligned without the kit but they charged me $151for not doing anything to my car and now I have to get it redone and they won't make it right so I'm going to have to go to court now. Highly recommend you don't go here they will take advantage of you.

On a road trip we got a nail in our tire the people at JM auto service were amazing . They took care of the car in under 40 minutes. They were both polite and thorough. We are ever so thankful for the help.

We were headed to Ely to go canoeing in the Boundary Waters until Wednesday. We noticed transmission fluid leaking. We got ahold of Justin and Kevin at JM Auto Service on a Friday evening just before closing. They gave a us loaner van to finish out our trip and had our tranny problem fixed before we arrived back on Wednesday! These guys are the real deal and genuinely good people!! I would highly recommend them! Thanks for getting us up and running fellas!

I will never go back to a dealer again! My Dad was my mechanic all my life and he can’t do it anymore but the people at JM put me at ease. Unlike the big dealers they actually listened to me and didn’t dismiss what I was saying. Thank you again JM!

I found myself in a bind while travelling through Midway/Eveleth. I was on my way back to the cities when my serpentine belt blew. It happened right smack dab in the middle of the construction zone. I got a hold of JM Auto Service and spoke with Justin who put me at ease. (Yes, I was a bit flustered since their shop was right across the freeway but had to go the long way around.) BTW, the signage to get to the businesses across the street are absolutely horrible! Thumbs down 👎to whomever is responsible for that piece of the project!!! Anyway, the crew went above and beyond to help me out and I am SO grateful! I would highly recommend this business! Thank you Justin and crew! 🤗

Got a flat tire on the way up to Canada for a fishing trip and the staff were able to get us back up and driving in just an hour and a half with no appointment or prior notice. Incredibly helpful and kind people, charged us nothing for replacing the wheel with our spare. Would highly recommend to anyone, so friendly and skilled!

I can’t recommend JM Auto enough! After having my vehicle sit untouched for three days at another shop with no communication, I decided to request an online quote from JM Auto at 7:50 AM on Tuesday. Within just 25 minutes, they reached out to discuss service options and appointment availability. We scheduled an appointment for Thursday, with the possibility of getting the work done sooner if time allowed. I had my vehicle towed to JM on Wednesday morning, and to my surprise, they had everything diagnosed and repaired by the end of the day. The communication throughout the process was excellent - they provided timely phone calls and convenient online updates, allowing me to review and approve any recommended work. When I picked up my vehicle Thursday morning, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely great to talk to. The service, efficiency, and professionalism were outstanding. I will absolutely be bringing our vehicles back to JM Auto for any future work. Thank you, JM team!

I used JM Auto for my oil change. I observed staff working as a team and being customer-focused. They kept me in the loop, and that helped me feel reassured. They followed up a week later to ask how my car is doing, too! I will be stopping in again for maintenance and repairs.

JM Auto is amazing!! I am a senior lady & have experienced rude treatment from repair shops many times. But JM treated me with great respect and actually listened to my “female” explanations of my issues with my vehicle. Service was amazing!! Job done quickly and with NO issues. Thank you guys!!! You are awesome!! Oh and the waiting room/office was very clean and pleasant. Great experience/great people!!

My daughter‘s vehicle needed a front end alignment but couldn’t be done because of the rear shocks being bad so I changed out the rear shocks. They got me right back in. They did the front end alignment did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

J & M Auto always does a good job for me when I need something worked on with my cars. Not only did they repair my car, but the took time & showed me how to repair it myself next time. That shows the level of customer care that clearly demonstrates how J & M approach customer service. They are outstanding and I recommend them without hesitation!

My husband and I were on a vacation to the North Shore, on our way home our pickup broke down. We called Iron Range Towing, he recommended we get towed to JM auto service. From the moment we walked in we knew this would be a great experience. We were greeted with a smile and they couldn’t have been more helpful. We were told they probably wouldn’t be able to complete the work on the pickup for a few days. We were given a loaner car (free of charge). We were on our five hour drive home when we received a call stating the vehicle was complete. This was a welcomed surprise since we were five hours from Eveleth Mn. The repair cost was a good surprise too! Thank goodness the tow truck driver knew the best place to take us!

Good deal on a synthetic oil change. I also had my tires rotated. Easy to get an appointment. Everything went as scheduled. Bathroom was clean. (You know you have been in facilities that were gross). Bonus- I chatted with two other customers while we waited. They were also so nice! Happy repeat customer. They always treat me with respect and as an intelligent person. They have earned my trust.

Justin and the rest of the team at JM are a great group to work with and definitely have a customer first work ethic. We had a huge struggle working with a third party vehicle warranty that took much more time than expected but the team didn’t give up and we got through it. The car works great and I would highly recommend!
