The young man who helped me start my car was outstanding! I was informed the his name is Jackson! He was polite and patient with a confused and fearful 65 year fighting cancer. Thank you again!!
Strike 3 for me! Steven Downs rescued me for the 3rd time this year. On Sunday I left the cabin on Lake Nebagamon and got 2 blocks before I slide in the ditch. I was 1/2 way down a hill then off to the right buried in the woods. There isn’t much help around on an icy /snow covered cabin road on Sundays. I called Dukes and talked to Steven. I told him my truck would need more than a tow rope. He told me he’d run out to help!! Just hearing that brought my blood pressure back down. When he arrived he tried several approaches to get my truck to move. With the deep snow and icy road it was a challenge. Steven stayed calm and worked his magic with his cables and pulleys. He got my truck back on the road without any damage. Without his help my truck would still be in the woods. With it being a weekend and in a remote area I really had no idea what to do. Thank you Steven for helping me get my truck back!

I cannot speak highly enough of this company. When we crashed our truck in a blizzard, they responded so promptly, kindly, and professionally. Even going so far as to personally giving my family of 4 with 2 young kids a ride to a local hotel in their tow vehicles. They were overall wonderful to speak with and work with while we navigated the unexpected crisis.
Our car was towed by them from the dealership. We were unaware of the tow. We got a letter in the mail 10 days later saying we owed over $800 for storage. They did not mail the letter for 7 days after the actual tow and did not try to contact us any other way. Very disappointed in this business. They seem to be trying to get money in any way they can and I wouldn’t trust them with any services.
Definitely a top notch company! Colton came out in the middle of the night in a snow hurricane and expertly pulled out a trailer with an 8,600 LB skidsteer on it out of a 6’ ditch on sheer ice. Very professional and friendly! Will definitely be calling Duke Boys for all my towing needs in the future. Thank you Colton!!
I started my business in April of this year, driving my 16 foot box truck all around the country. Saturday turned out to be my worst day in business, as I shredded an almost new front tire after hitting road debris in Duluth, MN. I made it only around 15min out of Superior on 53S, and my tired exploded. Long story short, I spent over an hour stranded on a small shoulder of a busy highway with no resolve due to the complete ineptitude of my insurance company and their lack of knowledge. I was told my vehicle couldn't be fixed on the side of the road, and couldn't be towed without disconnecting the driveshaft, both of which were completely false statements. When not a SINGLE other company within 2 hours of Superior would help me, I came across Duke Boys Towing, and everything changed. Not only were they courteous, but they actually seemed to care about my dire situation as well, and jumped into action immediately! Steven showed up fast, and had me loaded up and ready to be towed to Pomp's Tire in Superior in no time. He even picked up my triangles off the highway and put them in my truck so I wouldn't have to be in harms way any more than I had already been. I almost broke down in tears as I was so happy that somebody not only answered the phone, but they were there and taking me out of this bad situation. I cannot say thank you enough to Steven for performing his job as such a high level of accuracy, and the dispatcher Abbey for being knowledgeable and smooth with setting this up. I am not trying to be funny or cheeky when I say all of this, and I really mean this from the heart. If it wasn't for Duke Boy's towing, I would still be stranded 5 hours from home on the side of a busy highway with no resolve in sight. I joked with Steven that he was glowing like an Angel when he showed up, but I mean it. I have a 9mth pregnant fiancé at home who needs me home, and Duke Boy's Towing made that happen. I'd give them 6 out of 5 stars if I could. Much love to you all!

We lost a car key in the lake and Dukes really took care of us. Our vehicle needed to get towed to the dealership quickly to have a new key programmed, and they had it there within an hour of my call. What makes this a 5 star review is that Deron went way out of his way to amend a minor issue that happened during the tow. He more than made it right. Not only that, but the entire team treated my wife and I with respect and care throughout the process. They will get our service business from now on!
We were stranded along highway 2 with a blown coolant hose at 11 o'clock in the night with no way to fix it. We called several other towing companies and none of them would come out that night. We called duke's and they came out as fast as they could. Steven definitely new what he was doing and I couldn't have ask for a nicer driver to come out to tow us. He got us to our hotel and made sure we got the help we needed. Since we decided to fix it ourselves he even checked in on us with a call in the morning to make sure we got back on the road. Thanks for getting us back on our way.

Just wanted to leave a review for the guys that helped me out big time. Was on my way to superior for a grad party coming from the Minneapolis area and my ball joint broke on my truck leaving me my wife 2 kids and 2 dogs stranded. I Messed around for a bit with my road side assistance through my insurance company waited about 40 minutes to get a call from a towing company saying they didn't have any drivers available and the insurance company would dispatch another truck. Had been waiting for about another 20 minutes or so with no word on when the truck was coming. Lucky for us Anthony had been driving by and seen us stranded and offered some assistance. It was a busy area at the round about right when u come over the bridge into superior on hwy 2. He offered to call one of his guys in a with a truck capable to haul my large all wheel drive suv with a broken ball joint. Steven showed up a few minutes later took them just a couple minutes to have it all hooked up and ready to go. Super friendly guys did a great job and we are very grateful for their assistance during a pretty chaotic situation. Will recommend them to all my relatives up there in the superior area and now I know who to call if I ever have any towing needs when I'm up there. We are in that area alot in the summer. I recently bought a car from Duke Boys. They were easy to deal with and accurate in their assessment of the vehicle. I am very satisfied with the vehicle. What bumps this to a five star review? A week after the transaction, Darin sent me a check. Apparently, the title transfer was cheaper than expected because the tabs were still good. Had he just pocketed that money, I would have never known. He went out of his way to be honest and fair. In today's world, those kind of business ethics deserve five stars.
These guys saved me this week! My car sputtered to a halt on 61, I had it towed all the way back to Duke’s and I am glad I did! There were local shops nearby where we were stranded but took a chance with the amount of positive reviews this shop had. They’re super responsive, answered all of my questions and had my car fixed in a day. Extremely fair pricing as well, I had braced myself from past experiences and was just pleasantly surprised with this shop. I think it was Mike that even showed me the exact part that broke! Gotta appreciate a learning moment. I mentioned the longer drive home ahead of me and they even adjusted my headlights that were a bit crooked. A small favor that goes along way when it comes to road safety. I really appreciate yall!
Thankfully Duke not only very responsive, but the knowledgeable driver first made sure my vehicle was in a safe location then switched so towing in a way better for my truck's transmission. He tied it well and just genuinely nice guy. Sat. 4/12 at 2 pm. Thanks for great assistance!!
Called my insurance roadside assistance on a Friday night and all the tow truck companies didn’t respond except the Duke Boys. So glad they did! They made sure to send someone out right away to rescue me from the side of the busy interstate. The insurance company was late at getting my paperwork to them but they went ahead in getting me picked up right away. Freddy was super friendly and professional. Thanks for the excellent service! Duke boys saved me. My truck got overheated on the hills west of Duluth and broke down out in the middle of nowhere. My insurance told me I was on my own! They couldn't find anyone. I called a tow company, and THEY suggested the Duke Boys to come get my truck and camper. Steven, the driver, was so professional and quick. I was headed for the rv park after all. He even stopped by Walmart so I could get coolant and stayed to try to help me with my truck. I highly recommend that you call the Duke Boys first. They will take care of you and your vehicles quickly to get you out of trouble and on your way. Thanks, Steven, you're the best.
This place rescued us as we were visiting from Minneapolis. The tow truck driver, Ron, towed us to O'Reilly's where we bought a new alternator and then went out of his own way to put it on for us. Called Duke Boys to tow my car after the ball joint slipped out and was sitting on the tire. They sent Ron and he was very careful to not cause more damage to my car, and he had to use some impressive problem solving in order to do so. I would definitely recommend Duke Boys, and I will be calling them for any of my future towing needs!
My towing situation was not an emergency, yet Eric was dispatched by the friendly person who answered my call and arrived in less than an hour. The smaller truck was necessary in case he needed to get into the garage to tow my vehicle - a great option not every towing service has available. Eric was obviously very competent, and he carefully and methodically set about hooking up my vehicle - so many steps to the process! His training and experience were evident! He was also very kind and personable, even helping me with car care advice during our conversation and sharing his observations about the readings on his battery charger with me, which I could then pass on to my mechanic to help with diagnosing the vehicle's issues.
I have nothing but great things to report about Duke Boys towing service, and Eric, and would highly recommend them!
