Wants me to recycle but wants to charge me for an extra pickup for recycling when I can just throw it all in one can yes I know it reduces waste but why would you charge me extra for that
Paid in full, didn't receive any bin, then service was magically canceled. I emailed and got it it reinstated but still havent gotten by trash bin yet. Oh, and then had an outstanding balance that I paid and STILL HAVENT RECIEVED MY BIN!
WM decision to abandon their service representatives is a horrible idea. The 800 number is typical corporate mumbo jumbo taking over 10 minutes to speak with a human. Just how they designed it so the caller hangs up in frustration. I finally got through and asked for a local contact name and number. I was told it would take "a little while" and I have been on hold one hour and one minute. So its obvious the woman taking the call will not be helping me I am being punished for asking the question. Seems the corporate attitude has trickled down to the staff. WM-too big to care and to heck with customer service. Absurdity.
I have a major concern with how my pickups are handled. They will not reimburse me anything for a non pickup due to weather related (snow) driving conditions.
I have used Waste Management for over 40 years. They have great customer service that has been very helpful when needed. And good reliable service. Prices are fair.
I find it impossible to speak to a human for any question. Automated options are minimal, as well as their answers, and doesn't list your concern. You end up repeating yourself to their VIRTUAL ASSISTANT which ends up placing an order for a large dumpster on your account. 2 hours later you have high blood pressure because you're still trying to cancel the dumpster.
Pick up is prompt
I give WM a low rating here for their billing increases, there is no notification or justification given, just bang there it is. My bill has increased 62% in the last couple of years. I realized their may be valid reasons for increases but this seems way of out of line.
Pickup and service great, but they constantly and arbitrarily raise prices. Thinking about switching because it’s making me angry and there are lower cost options in town.
I really am grateful for the garbage pickup out here we didn't have pick up for many years and they do a great job they've never missed and if they did it was due to weather they always let us know when they come the next day.
The guys who work are great!!
The drivers we've had have been polite, friendly and super-helpful. The company itself, not so much. We've spoken with rude, disorganized, unhelpful people when trying to find out when our pickup would be during holiday time, or when we were asking why our pickup was missed. The fees are exorbitant. In summary, the drivers are superb, the women in the office are disorganized, petty and rude. Their fees are exorbitant. So, If you want to be able to get a question answered without being treated disrespectfully, use a different service. If you want an affordable service, call somebody else. If you want a friendly driver the drivers for WM are awesome, but you can probably find great drivers with any service. Overall, I say call someone else, if you have a choice in your area.
