Original Collins Brothers was a top notch service. Their pricing was the most competitive and they showed up promptly. Nick, the driver, was friendly, professional, and seemed exceptionally efficient at his job. 10/10 recommend and will use again.

Winters in Minnesota can put anyone to the test. This is especially so when it comes to driving during those first snows of the season. This winter (2025-2026) seems to be off to a good start as a reminder how powerful Mother Nature is. On Friday, December 5, 2025, I was doing my best to navigate out of my neighborhood through some freshly falling snow. The area is kind of renowned for people “going in the ditch” where I was. Needless to say, I guess I was the next victim. Thankfully myself or my vehicle just kind of coasted off the road. Sadly the snow grabbed me and I was unable to break free. Neither I nor my vehicle was harmed, but it was in there enough to where I was going to require assistance. I did a quick Google search for towing companies in the area and Collin’s Brothers was at the top of the list. I do not remember the name of the woman who answered the phone but this is where this starts. She was quite empathetic to my circumstances and said she would have someone out there within 30 minutes. Here is where this goes from an okay experience to an outstanding and absolutely amazing one. The driver (I believe Cody - hopefully that’s right) was there in under 30 minutes. If that wasn’t awesome enough, he too was the kindest, most considerate, and understanding person. It was exactly the kind of experience I needed in that moment. He got my car out with no difficulties whatsoever and I was back on the road. I will only do a review of a business if it was a horrible experience or the opposite of that. This was the best towing experience I’ve ever had in my 56 years on this earth. It is truly heartwarming to know that there are people who are compassionate and understanding and willing to help, all within a timely manner. To add to it, the cost to get it out wasn’t that bad. Total for everything was about $150 for everything. To the owners I say outstanding job of providing a service that goes above and beyond. To those I interacted with personally. Thank you for everything. You turned a very negative experience into something positive and you cannot put a price tag on that! After all, there’s another five months of winter to endure! Thanks again, Collin’s Brothers. You were lifesavers today!

Needed an emergency pull/jumpstart, guy was at my truck within minutes and had me taken care of for a fraction of the price. Awesome people! Highly recommended.

Unexpectedly needed a tow for my classic car. They were able to provide a quick (and very reasonable!) quote for the service and picked me up within 20 minutes. Loaded the car onto the bed very carefully, which was appreciated having a classic car. Great end to end service!

Phil, Gavin and the whole crew did an excellent job moving a small hand crafted building from a back yard in south Mpls to our cabin 1 1/2 hrs. north. It turned out to be a challenging move, but they problem solved each step and executed the move in a professional manner using updated equipment. Thank you!

Steven came to the rescue when my car blew a front with no spare, brought my car 20 miles and was very quick to respond, 25 mins from call to arrival! Plus Steven was extremely kind and knowledgeable! 10/10

I needed my car towed in a pinch from Richfield back to Elk River. I was recommended to Collins Brothers by my sister who was in an accident. She spoke highly of them sharing her experience. From my initial call with the sweet women who took down all of my information and who provided wonderful customer service. Then to the Driver, Logan who arrived in a timely manner even before my expected pick-up time, which I was grateful for and provided great service. They all were professional, transparent, and shared what the process would be. They definitely made this experience effortless and reassured me that my car would be taken care of. Their pricing was very reasonable for the service, quick response time, and the incredibly professional team that all helped in this situation. I would recommend them to anyone and definitely will keep them as my first pick if I ever need towing again.

My husband and I have had to use Collins Brothers twice now in the last 6 months once for our car over heating and just a couple of days ago for my husband hitting a deer. They have an amazing response time and were on scene in under 20 minutes both times. Their drivers are very professional and kind, and their prices are VERY reasonable I was shocked to see my bill thinking that it was going to be over $400 and it was half of that. Will recommend them to anyone in the area but will also hope that I don't need to use them in the near future!

The bolt on the ball joint in our Subaru fell off leaving us stuck. All the other companies we cslled told us 45 min to an hour. Logan made it in 20 and charged us less than the other companies quoted. This was not an easy tow! He even needed to call another truck but in the end Logan got us home. Thank you!!

Called when we had a tire blow out on a loaded roll off dumpster trailer in Edina. Phil said he’d be there in an hour and he was on the money. We got the dumpster off the trailer and he loaded on to his rollback and was towed back to his lot. Couldn’t be more grateful for his services and professionalism.

My 17 year old totaled his car, he was planning on scraping it and was told it would be cheaper to have them tow it. Next day we called and I was told it would be over five hundred dollars to take the car. So instead of my son being able to scrap it for 400 to $500 he had to pay $250 and if he wanted the car another high 500s.A few weeks prior I had a vehicle towed by them from Zimmerman to Saint Michael for $225, this time it was towed from Elk River to their location in Elk River. They take advantage of people that they believe don’t know any better, they’re thieves. I understand a company needs to make money, I understand a company making extra money for making things convenient for people, but when they lie and then hold your property unless you want to pay more than what it’s worth, this says a lot about the company. I would love to see a response to this trying to justify what they did because it was a bunch of Nonsense and bad attitude on the phone.

We needed our truck towed from our home in Princeton to a dealership in Elk River. Ben (driver) arrived quickly (about 30 minutes) and was very professional. He was efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Fantastic experience!

Great response for an unusual call. Got my car stuck in the backyard mud trying to pull my stuck mower out. Dean was here less than a half hour after my call, got the car AND the mower out, the mower had been stuck for a week. I can't say enough about their quick response and professionalism

I was in need of a flatbed tow to get my boat home. These guys showed up quickly and did an awesome job in getting my boat on the flatbed and transported safely to my house.

They came bright and early to deliver a shed for us. We have a very wooded lot with chicken coops that were making it a tight fit and they got this shed exactly where we wanted it to go. Phil and his son were so sweet and patient. I would definitely use them again.

we had a dead battery and they were very prompt and courteous. Went over everything and reasonable price. We then needed a tow as it was not the battery . he had to rescue us with our truck pulling a trailer with boat in the busy hours in elk river. He did very well! Wish I knew the young boys name (went to elk river high school). Was very professional.

Had to have my Classic car towed twice in 3 days. Trent arrived in 15 minutes and had the car carefully loaded in 10 minutes and headed for home. SUPER nice young man. The second time he came to take the car from my home to my mechanic. Again...very personable and helpful. The cherry on top was when he was following me he stopped for an irrigation sprinkler to pass before continuing down the road. He didn't want my spotless car to get wet. Very thoughtful! They moved a 10x10 shed about 25miles for us for a very reasonable price. Every person I talked to at Collins Brothers was helpful and friendly. They were very easy to get ahold of and responsive. The truck was immaculate & Phil well-dressed in his Collins Brothers red shirt. It was a tricky move... from one difficult-to-access spot to another. Not only did they get the job done, but Phil whistled as he worked. He was reassuring and helpful through the entire process, which was VERY helpful as we were trying to get the location ready to receive the new shed. He even went above and beyond to straighten my iron mailbox post that someone had run into. It wasn't what we hired him for, but he could easily do it with his equipment so he took the extra few minutes (after what was a tough job) to help us out!! We are so very thankful to everyone at Collins Brothers. The only thing that could have been better was not showing up 30min. early on an early Sat. morning. But given the rest of the help and service we were given, we're even willing to forgive that! :)
