I am a “do it yourself” mechanic, and as such, I drive older cars. When it is too cold, or above my “pay grade” I bring my cars, even though they are older, to Lonsdale auto works. They have a really customer friendly payment method, are extremely timely, honest, reliable, and locally owned, not a corporate money generator. They are really nice, because they do not care if your vehicle is not a current model, or something they see every day, they will work on it, and not try to convince you to buy a new car, or unnecessary upgrades, everything in your bill is transparent, as well as the recommendations. I’ve been using them for as long as I’ve lived in town, (15 years, approx) and never had a bad experience. The office and shop guys are great. Thanks again!

The pressure was low on one of my tires. I had Lonsdale Auto Works take a look. They identified the cause and fixed it. I'm grateful and very impressed by how much inspection they did, beyond fixing the tire.

Nothing but positive things to say about LAW! They got my vehicle in very quickly, and didnt bat an eye when I told them I did my own repairs and just needed an alignment + tire patch as some shops would. Super easy to pay online, and the key drop system they have is very convenient. Wouldn't hesitate to bring them another vehicle if I'm ever in need.
I wanted to post this yesterday since that’s when I got my service but in my biased opinion 5 stars were not enough for me to show how satisfied I was with the help that Scott (he was who was sent) was. Not only did he get me out of my ditch, he also did it while minimizing the potential damage I could’ve incurred due to the location and positioning my truck was in, by performing a gutsy maneuver of placing metal rods under the tire to prevent the bed from slamming into (I don’t know what their names are but they’re those drains that run underneath roads). I was able to make both my appointments for the day while only having to deal with the minor inconvenience of being late, and the wallet didn’t have to burn too much for it either. I hope they know how much I appreciate them (especially Scott) with how busy the day must have been for them.
Had two studs brake on me one morning on the way to work. I was so scared when my vehicle started to shake violently called them up and was picked up with in twenty minutes and fixed by days end. These are great people great service even when they were short handed and busy. I would recommend them to anyone and will go back in the future
I’ve been taking my vehicles to Lonsdale auto works for years now. Denise and Scott are great and they always communicate promptly and are transparent and honest about what they recommend, what would be urgent and what could wait, etc. pricing is fair and the free loaner vehicles while the car is in the shop is such a great perk.

My car was stalled in the middle of the freeway and the driver took every necessary precaution to protect the car, me and himself while loading my car. His experience was obvious. Excellent service and response.
He gave a tow from Lonsdale to New Prague. Theresa and I thought he was very nice, considering we woke him up .He was very nice and made us both feel very comfortable. He talked about how thru this experience we met two very nice people. Him and the female cop who made sure we were fine.
I went to Lonsdale Auto Works to have my brakes done. They did a full check of the brake system and it turned out they were in worse shape than I thought. Instead of just telling me what needed work, they used an online system with clear photos and detailed recommendations. It was really cool how slick their system worked! I had plenty of time to decide what to move forward with, and they were very respectful about giving me that time. I appreciate their work and will be back.

I had a great experience. All 4 tires wear worn out and I wasn't aware of it as I didn't know much about vehicle maintenance. This was not mentioned at my last maintenance visit at a different shop. Denise took the time to explain things to me about changing all 4 tires and other things that was needed. I felt very informed about my vehicle than I've ever been. Will definitely recomment.

We just had our first appointment with Lonsdale Auto Works and we had a great experience! They were able to fit us into their schedule to coincide with what worked for us. The waiting area is incredibly clean and everyone was very friendly. They did a thorough inspection to figure out what was causing the issue we were having. It's an older vehicle, so there were a few things they found. But, each item was very clearly explained to us in much detail and they "ranked" them from things we really should do now to things that could wait a bit or were simply ok to be left as is. I felt their pricing was fair & reasonable and their level of customer service and care were outstanding. Huge bonus, they offer loaner vehicles at no cost, just have to replace the gas you use. Special shout out to Denise, she is amazing to work with and very knowledgeable! We're bringing another one of our vehicles in for an appointment with them later this week!
