If I could give no stars I would. The check they gave me couldn't be cashed. I drove to there location and had to demand cash on the spot. Insist on being given cash or no deal. There phone numbers go directly to a recording and they will not call you back.

Seems to be a common occurrence here sold my junk car through peddle who promised cash on pickup contracted soowys, the pick up was smooth considering the cars brakes had locked up, however i was handed a check for the amount, not a big deal i can just go deposit this. . .or so i thought, the check bounced and after calling numerous times i have yet to receive a call back, other than when they mistakenly called me instead of another customer who was selling a car when i corrected them they promptly hung up on me

It has become my job to track down this company for payment. You took ownership of my vehicle and did not make good on the transaction. Bad business!

Do not use this company! If I could leave no stars, I would. This company came and picked up my car last week on behalf of Wheelzy and the check they wrote out to me was no good. After repeated messages left to have someone call me to get this resolved not a single call of mine was returned. I finally went to the address on the check. When I explained why I was there, no one looked surprised. Without any explanation, they offered to Cash App me the amount of the check. What a hassle. I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Soowy replied to my Google review the day after I submitted the review on 12/3/24. I contacted them via email and phone call. No response as of 12/9/24, no acknowledgment of the email or voicemails left. Attorney Generals office has been contacted. Original review 12/3/24: This company stole my car, the bank said this company had insufficient funds, I have the vehicle and person recorded and photographed as evidence. I'll be contacting the Attorney Generals office.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience. DO NOT use this company if you actually want to cash the check they write you. The gentlemen who came to pick up my car were incredibly kind and the process was pretty quick. They wrote a check and took my car within about 15/20 minutes. The check was not accepted via mobile deposit and my bank told me not to try again. There was a note on the check that included a phone number just in case you had issues cashing it. That should have been red flag #1. I talked to this person once and they never answered the phone again. I left messages, sent texts and no one has returned my calls. I've called their main number as well. I finally ended up going to a check cashing place that told me they stopped cashing checks from SOOWYS because they owed a bunch of money. I then called another check cashing place that told me they also don't really cash these checks anymore because they are usually owed money. They said SOOWYS has a bad reputation and she only got them to pay up recently because she left about 30 messages and then threatened to sue them. It was an incredibly frustrating experience to say the least. Update as of 10/8/2024: The check bounced and I'll unfortunately have to call the authorities since the only response I've gotten is to this review and there was no offer to fix anything. SOOWYS stole my car.

I needed to sell my 2002 Cadillac DeVille quickly as my other car was available after having spent 2 months in repair getting a transmission installed. I tried selling publicly with for sale signs in the windows. A few tire to kickers, but no takers. Was asking $1000, then $700. Needed brakes all around. It runs really good, always started, but is 23 years old. So I went a different route to sell. Online car buyer sites, and junk yards, salvage yards. About 6 places showed interest and made offers. Soowys Corp. called and gave best offer. All were within $40 dollars. And they would pick it up quickest. Made an offer, I accepted, and they showed up with tow truck 3 hrs. later. With check in hand. I signed over title, handed over keys, took one last look around the interior, and was back home in under 25 minutes. Exactly how they promised it would go. So I had a very positive experience with Soowys and would recommend them and use them again if needed in the future. .

The guy who picked my car up offered to let me sit in his vehicle while we were doing paperwork because it was raining, so that was very kind, and the transaction was quick with no issues so I do commend him for that. Everything went smooth until they wrote me a bad check. After speaking with HR, they resolved the issue but it was not a great look for them. I don’t think I’d use or recommend them in the future, because of this, unfortunately.

I sold them my Chrysler 300. They wrote me a check that nobody wanted to cash. The two cash checking places told me this company owes them money and refused to cash it. There's a phone number on the check to call for verification which never rings. Simply sends you to voicemail. After threatening to call the authorities I was sent my money via cash app. Watch out for these people. Pretty shady activity!

Please issue us a new check. **Update** They reimbursed us with cash, actually brought the cash to our house and explained the issue they had. The check they gave me was flagged by my bank as their bank had not paid it. I called them multiple times but have not received a call back. I expect payment for my vehicle wirhin 24 hours and not a week or more. This is not 1980. They have essentially stolen my car and I will be filing a police report. Do not trust this company.

Basically stole my car with a blank check. Super suspicious… I had to call them and notify them about the check. Once I called they offered to pay me on Venmo. They seemed like they didn’t care much and were definitely taking their time with the check if it was real. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I give 5 stars for customer service, and ability to problem solve what could have been a negative situation. It's still are good ppl in this world, and from my experience they are just that. Actually responsive, and stayed on the line while we figured things out. From my experience I would do business with them again if I had to no doubt. Soowy's Company pretty much gave me a blank check. Was offered $375 for my car through wheelzy snd connected me through them. I gave the guy my title and license as he handed me a check. Got a notification from my bank saying the check has been returned and the reason was "closed account". I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and the attorney general if this does not get resolved.

I used peddle and soowys tow company was the third party picking up my car. I wasn’t able to deposit the check and peddle said if they did a stop payment for the check they could pay me direct deposit. Soowys wouldn’t answer me or peddle and we have reached out to them many times during the day. They won’t answer so that my payment could be processed. Peddle is also claiming that soowys is saying they don’t have my car even though they picked it up this morning. The whole thing has been a huge mess on Soowys side of this transaction. Since they won’t answer myself or peddle i had to make a police report .

We were pleased with the whole process of them picking up the vehicle. They paid when they picked it up and it was done. No problems. I didn’t like it so much that they wanted me to crawl under it and take a picture of the catalytic converter, but I suppose they have people that cut that off before junking a car and it’s part of the value they can get out of it.

Driver notified me before he arrived. He showed up promptly and was extremely helpful and respectful. I was having trouble removing my license plate. He did that for me. He loaded my vehicle without any problems. He asked if there was anything else I needed help with. He gave me the check for my vehicle, and he left. Very positive experience!!
