This used to be a great place to bring vehicles. The turnaround time was a little slow sometimes, but fair pricing. It was recently sold and is now called "John's Garage". The prices are now comparable to dealer pricing or higher... about 35-40% higher. Makes me sad because I have four cars to maintain and it helped to have a reasonably priced, reliable shop available. Please respond if you know of another affordable auto shop in the Rochester area!!
Automotive recyclers is the best place around to have your car worked on. They are honest, fast, and doesn't cost you an arm and a leg. Great at communication and drop off and pick up could not be easier. We have been bringing our cars here for 10 years now. We have never ever been dissatisfied!
These guys are great. Definitely worth a visit, I appreciate that they let me go and check out the scrapped cars and choose what I want. Friendly staff and great prices!!
Called them up, they said they had a car in the yard with the part that I needed. They said I could come take a look and see if the part was good or not and it was. They changed me a very fair price.
I went looking for bolts (O'reillys, Autozone etc couldn't help me). The staff were very helpful and they were able to give me what I was looking for at a fair price.
Fellas here have actually been friendly every time I’ve been in, unlike some the other only options around the area. Prices have always been fair. Only wish they had more yard to stack cars on.
I was really happy with my experience today even though I know nothing of vehicles. I got a transmission for around $300. I came here based on a referral from my father's mechanic. Guys were extremely approachable and knowledgeable.Would definitely recommend.
I bought all of the leather seats out of an impala, and the workers were very nice and helpful, the prices were pretty reasonable. I will go to them first for any car parts I need in the future.
They offer a excellent service to scrap your old clunker or pick a part off one they have in their inventory. They are pretty fair on prices and will match local competitors prices. Fast and friendly help from the staff earns these guys a 4 star rating! I've been doing business with them for many years and have suggested them to many of my friends and family!
Have gone here for all my needs for years. Came back today to get two AT tires replaced on my truck. Had exactly what I wanted with both tires mounted, balanced, and both old tires disposed above for about 100$. The last two tires I purchased were same price, and they've made it almost 10,000 miles and a year on the road and still look brand new.
I felt like the guys here were honest. I came in looking for over a hundred dollars worth of parts and they just fixed the one I had for a fraction of that. Been here multiple times and get the same treatment each time.
Very friendly employees. They were reasonably priced amd fixed my truck quickly and did a good job of calling and checking with me to make sure i was okay with things as they went.

Came in to get a new wheel for my car, they quickly found it and got me rung up and put the wheel on for a great price. I will be back to get my struts fixed soon! They are very reasonable in price- asked $100 for my wheel where as all others wanted $200 for the same wheel of that condition.
Went and bought some seats from them, they were reasonable on the price, and even knocked it down. When I got them home, I found out the mold on them was worse then I thought. They gave me a full refund and eere very understanding about it. Will definitely do business there again.
Great location just outside Rochester. Gary was very knowledgeable and was able to find the part I was looking for. He held onto the part until I was able to pickup a few days later. Will definitely return for anything I need.
lost my business over $20 the owner offer me back some of my money but $20 said i had to stop back when the guy that i got the parts from was working and they didn't know who it was or when the person would be in for me to do so so i just have to stop in time after time to see if the guy is working i don't think so ill just junk the parts i don't need anymore and go to Dillons auto salvage next time more parts better price and above all nicer people
Great customer service. Had the part out and ready to be picked up in under a hour. Called five other parts yards, the guys here are by far the nicest to deal with.
Had my vehicle towed to get a brake line replaced and than was told my caliper bleed screw was “stuck” that I needed to replace the front calipers so I told them I needed the calipers back that they took off and turns out they snapped the head off of the screws which is why the screws were “stuck”. On top of all of this they took 3 weeks to finish putting in the brake line and when I was told they were pushing the car in a friend sent me a photo of it sitting outside still. Tried to reason with them and was rudely talked to and insulted than hung up on. Will be taking them to civil court. Do not recommend anyone coming here very unprofessional, would give 0 stars if was an option.
Now just how many people are statistically willing to come on these review forums to submit positive feedback for a dusty old repair and salvage joint. Based on this ridiculousness, it sadly seems people are only willing start typing when they're feeling butt-hurt about this or that.

This is the WORST service that I've ever received unfortunately.
I paid Gary (the owner) to tow my car into the establishment so that he can fix the transmission and accidently destroyed the front of my car.
The only thing that I was requesting for them to repair what they broke. Gary admits that they accidently destoryed it but refuses to "give up any money or time" into fixing what he broke on my car.
I told my roommate what happened and he also has a similar experiance from this establishment.
I do NOT recommend anyone to accept services from this company.
Ever since I have requested them to fix what they accidently broken. They stopped caring about my car.
My car is actually still there and it was towed in on May 1st and its currently June 1st.
In result of such bad service I lost my job because I had no source of transportation.

They few times i have been here they are usually very busy, but not busy enough that they cant spend time to help you properly.
Called last week looking for a specific chevrolet rear end, he checked, and they didnt have what i needed, but were glad to check the area salvage yards and see who did have what i was looking for and directed me to where i needed to call and find it.
