I wish this place was open when the hours reflect they are open on the website. Went there at 1 pm and it said they are open until 4 pm on a Friday afternoon.
**No longer accepts car parts.** They were kind and at the ready. Although they did not take my old car parts, they were helpful in suggesting where else to try.
Dont bother with this place my husband brought in 30lbs of cans only got $10. It clearly states $1 a pound online. The guy that was there weighed it wrong and didnt even do it right. So when my husband asked if he could reweigh it He stated : They dont have time fot that! There was nobody there. Terrible customer service and real con artists. If I could I would give it 0 stars.
Lady came out to yell nothing is for sale! It’s sad you can’t buy it. It’s all rusting and wasting away. They could make allot more money if they sale the stuff.
Don't bother with these clowns. I have used them before and put up with their "I'm doing you a favor" attitude. Today I took a load of aluminum, brass and copper in the back of my truck over there and the old woman told me to take it up to Watsons Recycling. There was no waiting line when I got there but apparently they could not be bothered with weighing the different metals.
Finally found a place that would pay me for my scrap Brass that had been piling up. Turns out most of what I had was Zinc though, which I thought I'd be stuck with, but they paid me for that too.
Very informal, and I wouldn't go so far as to dismiss the other reviews of the place, but it served my needs, and I'd even consider returning.
I had a good amount of copper to scrap. So I decided to give this place a try. I walk in, and after a minute of try to get someone's attention, this older lady comes up to me and asks me what do I want, in the rudest way possible. I told her I had scrap copper. She asked me,want kind of copper? I respond with, residential water pipe. She then proceeded to yell, waving her hands. Yelling "no,no,no, is it dirty, insulated, blah,blah,blah". I just laughed, walked out and told her, I will take it somewhere else. I understand that's probably not your dream job, but treat people with a little respect. Go to Watson's in Oronoco they pay a more for copper any way.
Grumpy. One guy started unloading my trailer by hand, so I hopped out to help. He wouldn't talk to me, and turned his back to me when I tried talking to him. I'll bring my scrap someplace else.
It says describe your experience... Well... Haven't even been inside the gate and its already not been good. When are these ppl open???!!! I've been there 3 to times already. Once on Tues in the morning. Once on that same day around 3:30 and another the next morning at 9 am... When the hell are these ppl open??? Its not that hard to be open during the middle of the day on weekdays. Just do it. Judging by other ppls reviews I'm not sure I want to have an experience here. Stop sucking or shut down. Period
We came all the way from Austin mn. 3 diffrent times twice they were closed. on the 3rd time they were open. And come to find out. NOTHING is for sale. All of the stuff is the owners wifes, and i quote "treasures". They need to post hours AND THAT NOTHING IS FOR SALE. What a waste of time.
