Had to get some tricky windshield wipers installed my Passat while the temp was hovering around 5 degrees. Zach helped me out in the brutal cold weather without a complaint. Great service!
I very, very highly recommend this place to anybody who needs help with their vehicle. I stopped by today because my car kept not being able to start and I suspected that it was the battery. I literally wouldn't even turn it off when I got there, because I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to get it started again. I went in and purchased a battery. I asked them if there was any way one of them could put the battery in my car for me, and due to my circumstances that I was afraid to shut the car off not even knowing if the battery was the real issue. Tyler stepped right up and said he would do it. Then he went directly out there and started removing my old battery and then put in the new one. I mean, I really had a day that day and in reality, it was more like a month, so he had no idea how much that affected me in a really good way. All the guys there were super kind and helpful. Showed up at 8:59. Walked up to the door and employee walked up to the door pushed on the handle with me standing at the door. Varified it was locked and walked away. Absolutely disrespectful.
Went into St. Peter Oreilly today with a 2nd bad battery in 2 years. The employee who tested it said they'd call me when it was done. They didnt call, I had to call them and when I got to oreilly, the employee told me that they wont honor the warranty that I paid for the battery after this one an blamed me for why theyve gone bad. I bought the most expensive battery they sell for my car too last the MN winters with the 3 year warranty on top of it. He talked down to me like I was stupid and told me that I should put it on a battery tender every year and told me I should buy the one off the shelf and tried to show it to me. When I told him I have one but I live in a trailer and dont have a shed, garage, or have much space to bring stuff inside for such things he decided to tell me about how he puts his quads battery on tender every winter to keep it charged instead. Made me feel very belittled that I didnt have the money or space to do such things. Very disappointed and why have a warranty if theyre going to tell me theyre not gonna honor.
I had to share my great experience today at o'reilly's! Dylan who is one of the store salesman / consultants helped me. He took the time to answer my questions and he helped me do a very easy install of a couple of the things I purchased. I was very pleased with the service and the time he took to help me. I will also add to this that the prices on the items that I purchased were very reasonable. I would highly recommend if you're in the area or traveling through and you need any automotive accessories or parts consider going to O'Reilly's! Have a 🔹 blessed day!
2/10/24. Again, we are so grateful for this store and the customer service and support they provide. Yesterday, they had the part ready, on time, and that's important when we are working on vehicle's miles away from our home in Iowa. A fuel pump out, returned and replacement delivered in hours. We did the work ourselves, yet knowing if needed, they were there. All successful, and back home to Iowa way before they closed for the evening.
I called from Iowa to ask for help with my car that was being borrowed in St Peter. The kids took it there, and back on the road safely.
Nice associate named Tyler was very helpful with changing my car battery. I know it took a few extra minutes but I very much appreciate the extra effort

This O'Reilly is amazing, we came through with our truck and had brake issues. They were so happy to help us out and they were so kind. The 2 that were working were understanding, and we appreciated it. Thanks to O'Reilly for helping us out!

This store is much less expensive than NAPA every time. The staff are willing to help you determine your best option, and the one time I had a part fail, they replaced it with no questions asked without a receipt. Make sure you start an account associated with your phone number so they can look it up. Also, you get rewards points with the account, and they actually pay off after a few transactions as opposed to taking years at other places.
I'll called Tuesday night to see if you had a battery for nissan armada and would install it the next morning if i came in at 7:30 before work. The guy said yes. Showed up Wed morning and a different guy said they would not install. Too cold out. Told me to go to CJs Repair. They weren't open yet and were running late. Called O Reilly in Mankato. They installed for me. I was late for work but at least they were honest and installed in Mankato.
We were headed from Mankato to St. Cloud in heavy wind and rain. One entire wiper mechanism came almost entirely off, landing on the mirror. We cut back to St. Peter and went to O’Rilley’s. Tyler said it was likely one of two problems, one he could fix and one he couldn’t. He came out, turned a wrench and we were on our way in like three minutes!! So kind, polite and knowledgeable. Came out in the rain, not a complaint and told us to have a good weekend when we asked what we owed him. Stellar young man and employee!!!
Staff super friendly! did not have to wait for a service member to ask if I needed help selecting anything. Helped me find exactly what I needed and also recommended a better product then the standard item with better qualities and warranty which I went with also informed me of additional savings on promos they had running as well!
I needed to run a diagnostic on my car and test the alternator. Happily they loaned me the equipment to do both, then helped me understand the codes produced by the tests. Wonderful friendly employees!!
Super excited!! Asked for help with my car, the guy (forgot his name already, sorry) without hesitation, grabbed a thing (diagnostic something or other) and we went outside to my car. The thing did its thing and he tells me what it said. Go back in store and shows me what is needed. Proceeds to talk to me like a human. I asked a lot of questions, he answered them all. So incredibly helpful and I can't say thank you enough. Thank You O'Reilly Auto Parts Guy, you made my day!!!
