My wife's battery on her 2014 Honda CRV went dead as she was in the car wash. Al, who is the owner of Auto Value in Two Harbors, MN, came to the car wash with a battery booster and jump started it. She then drove to his store, purchased a new battery and he installed it free of charge. Exceptional service!!!!
Excellent and professional Experience! I was on a camping trip in Gooseberry Falls when I experienced battery problems. Cody and Al were more than helpful in assessing the problem and assisting me in repairs! They both have excellent knowledge in all things mechanical! With their help I was able to get back on the road and continue my trip! Much appreciated!
I learned to drive with my dad‘s 1950 Mercury, with three on the tree, overdrive, and the headlight dimmer switch on the floor left of the clutch. My first car was a 57 Chevy With-a 283. I only mentioned this to validate that I’ve been around cars for a long time. And I’m not from around this area either but come here during summer. These guys at the Auto Value parts store in two harbors are the most helpful folks I’ve ever been associated with in all the years that I’ve been buying and dealing with auto parts, fixing my own cars, fixing friends cars, etc. All of them are super friendly, super knowledgeable and super helpful. I’ve taken things back that didn’t fit, or just didn’t work out, and these folks have been very cooperative. So long as I need auto parts Auto Value is where I’m going in this area. JMB.
We are from Illinois. Our battery died in a nearby state park today. We got it jumped and drove down to Two Harbors near where we were staying and went to Auto Value Two Harbors. They tested our old battery (more than 4 years old), and sold us a new one, which they installed at no extra cost. Then they tested the new installed battery and the alternator and starter. All for the price of the battery, which was a very reasonable price. Their service was outstanding and the people we worked with could not have been nicer or more helpful. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. We highly recommend them.

Best staff and service in town. Love going here as someone who doesn’t know a ton about vehicles. They’re always willing to help me out. Really appreciate places like this still existing.
We were only traveling thru town and our car was sputtering. No other auto places would see us but this place fixed our vehicle and even stayed after closing to finish. The price was very reasonable especially considering the fact that we were tourists. Got our car fixed in about an hour and now runs perfect again.
I needed some new fuses for my vehicle. I stopped here instead of Napa. I felt a a little overpriced for a package of a lot of fuses. I only needed a couple. But you know more so young man behind him counter help me get exactly what I needed. Thank you.

We did lots of work on repairing this building. We just got done with stucco on the entire building and it now looks brand new!. I have gotten to know ale the owner of the business, very nice to work with, you can tell he is very passionate about his company and customer service.. I have shopped here also and all the guys are very helpful and knowledgeable and professional..I will shop here for auto parts from now on..
Extremely knowledgeable staff carrying some of the best products for all your vehicle needs! Seriously, any questions you have they will either have the answer for you or at least be able to help you find it. Product I had purchased was cheaper than getting it online.
Helping my frail mom yesterday afternoon. Her battery purchased here one year ago to the week had died. They claimed it appeared it has frozen so would not warrantee, but if handled better I wouldn't be taking the time to write this. The poor service from the moment we walked in the door. We'd visited two stores in town this day. The one we walked into first wasn't this store, but we were greated as we walked in the door, the opposite at Auto Value, the gal was on the phone, no big deal, theguy was talking with a customer in an isle, not a big deal, but as the minutes went buy, not one of them said hellow. we'll be with you in a moment or hi. The gal was still on the phone 10 minutes later when we left, the guy had eventually talked to us after much small talk after ringing up the the only other customer in the store. They didn't offer to test the battery ot the trickle charger it had benn hooked to all along, see my mom doesn't drive much, so to keep her batteries from going dead she has a trickle charger installed under the hood and it was pligged in, so how the battery got ran down is a mistery, but again, that isn't the reason for the low scoring review, the poor service is. The other store we went to offered to test the battery and charger, gave us fast helpful service and clearly gets how to provide good service. They even had a kids table with coloring supplies to keep my daughter intertained while the grown ups focused on business. As Auto value wasn't helpful at all, guess where we went to buy the new battery and charger? The other store. The contrast was striking, one store delivered nearly perfect customer service which highlighted how poor the service was at this store yesterday.
The staff and service is over and above what I was expecting. The part needed wasn't something they warehoused so they went to the Internet and found it, ordered it and had it for me the next day. They truly are the best!
I'm from the twin cities and was stopping for a beer at Castle Danger Brewery for a cold one. We had a 2 car caravan and the second car reported brake troubles. I went to Auto value and bought the parts thinking I'd find an out of the way parking lot to change the pads (and buy some tools). I asked for advice for the AV staff and and they showed me to there back room and tool box and said they'd leave the back door open and I could use their ample parking lot (and tools) to do my brake job. One of the staff even pulled a full caliper off their shelf just so I could see what size socket I would need. When I noticed they didn't have a c-clamp to push the piston back in, another of the staff offered to go to his house and get one! (He didn't have to because they had a huge channel-locks that did the job). Very thoughtful and helpful staff!!! Thank You!!! A+++
