I ordered an ECM and by bad luck or circumstances because life isn't always easy the programming wasn't compatible with my wifes truck and it needed to be reprogrammed. Upon showing the proper documents I was given a full refund. If I need another ECM or BCM I will be a repeat customer due to this.

Plug n play baby! Ordering was fast and easy, just make sure you get your vin and part number correct. Shipping was fast. I ordered a TCM for my 2012 Silverado. Had a UO101 code. Plugged the TCM in,cleared the codes and that was it, problem solved. They were also half price of anyone else and they programmed it. Highly recommend!!!!

Ordered programed BCM for 2007 chevy impala. Arrived nicely pagacked. Plugged in and car starts now. Before change I had no crank, no PRNDL, no key fob, no brake lights, ABS light and Traction Control Off message. Some may need key and security relearn procedure, mine it wasn't necessary.

Absolutely terrible experience, would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I bought a PREprogrammed BCM from them, with my vin. As stated, these are supposed to be plug and play modules (with a passkey relearn). Received the first module, absolutely defective, my truck would never enter key relearn mode. Spoke with a GM tech that was recommended by Highway71 if any issues were to arise, he said to get the module reprogrammed. Before spending an additional 200$ to get it reprogrammed, I emailed saying there was an issue and to send a replacement. They did honor this thankfully, but second bcm would fail out of the relearn after 10 minutes, and never go back into relearn mode. I decided to take the advice of the GM tech and reprogram the module. After 220$ worth of reprogramming their second module, key relearn passed the first attempt and truck fired up. Spoke with Joyce to hopefully return the first bcm and get some money back since their modules are supposed to be plug and play, no programming required, and was belittled saying I had no right todo what I did, and asking for money back was wrong. “You’re only 22 years old, that’s not how life works. I’ve been working around cars for 65 years, it wasn’t our fault” As an ASE master tech and the truck started perfectly after reprogramming, it was absolutely a fault of their product. I was told to keep the useless BCM originally ordered as a “gift”. Terrible quality, business never thinks they’re in the wrong. 0/5 stars.

We ordered an ECM and it worked at first then stopped communicating with the vehicle. We called and explained what happened and without hesitation they honored their warranty. Their customer service far exceeded our expectations. We will use them exclusively for programmed modules going forward! Thank you Hwy.71 Auto Parts for excellent service!!

Ordered BCM for a Silverad on August 1st. Reached out through email to get an idea on when I would receive it a few days later. They don’t offer any upgraded shipping options on their website as I would have gladly paid to overnight or two day ship it. Fast forward here we are August 11th and no response from them to my email but received a tracking number August 5th that was created virtually. I’ve still to yet receive the BCM. I won’t be ordering again for any other GM products we work on. In today’s time shipping and getting back to someone is everything, a little communication would’ve went a long way on this one. Trucks in my shop for over a week waiting. I could’ve ordered somewhere else by and had it back on the road by now. Charging a premium price for a subpar service. Good luck everyone hope it works out.

I have been in business all my life and I believe in reviews if a company goes above and beyond, from the second someone answered the phone, it was one of the best response I experienced in my past. Highway 71 auto parts is a company I will recommend 110%. They help with any problem and they stand behind their products. They do not make you feel like you are asking for their first born, they do not talk down to you. Most of all, they take care of your issues promptly. I highly recommend doing business with them

Five stars! After a bad experience with a different company, a long-time certified GM tech told me about Highway 71 Auto Parts. From contact, through order and delivery, they were terrific, friendly and professional. When my ECM arrived, it had simple instructions even I could follow and after mere minutes my car was back up and running good as new. Sincerely run like a family business, it’s obvious they care and take pride in their work. Excellence

100% definitely five stars! For some reason, I couldn’t figure out why my 07 Chevy Tahoe 4 x 4 wouldn’t come out of four high when I did a whole bunch of research and still kind of figure it out. I bought a new transfer case actuator and it still didn’t work. I stumbled across Highway 71 and seen that they had the (TCCM) transfer case control module reprogram for a good price. I’ve been looking online and people are saying that the dealership want $800+ for a program and to take out and install the new TCCM. With a little Extra time on my hands I ordered the highway 71, TCCM reprogram module and took my old one out and installed the new one. And now with a new motor, my transfer case control actuator works perfectly fine. Want to thank the guys at Highway 71 and keep doing what you’re doing appreciate it!

I ordered my TCM after speaking with the nice lady via landline, ordered Friday afternoon, shipped out Monday and received it Thursday… nice shines clean module, plug and play…. Her appreciation for my business was heartfelt… in today’s computer world, you don’t hear that often or get to say it to the customer. Thanks Highway 71! Update!! It’s been a couple few months now, TCM is doing what’s it’s supposed to do…. Shifts smooth as butter…. I just knew I needed a transmission or at least a rebuild, turns out the module important part of the apparatus 🤣😂🤣

Bought an ecm for lml diesel truck, was told they're new, installed in truck truck ran but we didn't use it as it was a project truck. After some time we wanted to use truck but after it heated up had p2152 code, 2 injectors no working, did all gm approved checks and it pointed to ecm. Removed ecm put in our old ecm truck ran. Put the new ecm in truck ran but when heated up p2152, 2 injectors not working. This company said out of warranty, ok but can you take it an check it ? No they kept saying " I don't understand what you want? For real? I want a working ecm ,completely not an understanding company keep away

I had issues with my 2001 impala bcm. When it was hot outside the engine would not start and the door locks wouldn’t work. Interior lights would never come on. Service vehicle light stayed on. Ordered a module Friday and got it on Thursday. Plugged it In performed padlock procedure. And everything works as designed. I was quoted 500 dollars for a module and programming at a local repair shop. Saved 315 dollars great place to buy from! Thanks hwy 71! Look no where else for programmed modules!

I was having so many issues with my car. I replaced my ECU 3 times with another company, they had horrible support. You guys were very professional and do a great job. That's the difference between a big company that doesn't care because of the amount of workflow maybe, but from what I understand, this place is run by a mother, and her son does the programing. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the deal. Either way, thank you for standing by your work, having a year warranty was rather inspiring to go with you guys. The others warranty is like 90 days I think. Goes to show how confident they are in their workmanship. Thank you very much I'll recommend you to anyone I hear speaking of ECU problems.

I have an 06 Saturn ION and it would cutoff while driving or not start at all and being told by the dealership I need an ECM for $1200. I was skeptical at first that I would find an ECM cheaper but highway71 has blown me away. I ordered on a Sunday night and it was shipped the next day. I received it on Wed and plugged it in myself after watching YouTube videos and no key relearn was necessary! I am throughly satisfied and am telling everyone I know about this place. I am forever grateful, this place saved me $1100 during these tight times. Plus my car is running better than it ever has!

I ordered an ECM for my 09 Enclave after the car had been at the mechanics for 3 months with no progress. I received the ECM quickly, programmed to my VIN, plugged it in, and life sprang back into my vehicle. Not only does everything work again, but my car hasn't run this good the entire time I had it. Thank you guys for the quick shipping despite memorial day, and for the quality part. You saved me who knows how much if I'd left repairs to a mechanic.

I ordered a BCM for my 2007 Cadillac SRX. I fried the old one by unplugging it while the car was running. Don't do that. Regardless the programming took immediately, and the keys were not required to be repogrammed. I cannot recommend these people enough I needed the vehicle to work by a certain time and I was able to get overnight shipping. Joyce was incredibly helpful on the phone. I will use these guys anytime I have any other issues with my 2000s GM vehicles.

My 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo was having all sorts of weird issues. The doors wouldn't lock with the key fob, the volt meter in my dash wasn't working properly, and the worst part was that every month or so a security code would start flashing in the dash and wouldn't let me start the car. I tried everything that I read online to fix the security issue, but nothing worked. I noticed some people diagnosed this issue as a faulty BCM. So, I risked it and looked online for a new BCM. Highway 71 Auto Parts came through for me in a big way. The part was programmed to my VIN and it was the cheapest price I could find online. After installing the new BCM and completing the passlock reset, my car started right up and has been running with none of the previously mentioned problems. This fix saved me hundreds of dollars. THANKS HIGHWAY 71!

Ordered a TCM for my 06 Cadillac DTS from here. The lady I talked to was very nice and courteous when explaining to me how to go on the website and order my part. She was very specific about me getting my VIN number correct. After being quoted outrageous prices, and being told I had to order my part then take it to a dealer on the car to be programmed, they preprogrammed my part and I order on Monday and got it Thursday. I went from a vehicle shifting erratically to a smooth shifting car when I installed my part. Thanks so much, and I'll most definitely do business with them again. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me.

I purchased a BCM for my 2007 Escalade and called back after a couple days and talked to Joyce and she explained that they did not have the exact part number to fit my vehicle, but could program a different compatible module for me to try. She sent it next day air and although it did not fix the communication problem to my instrument cluster, it did help me eliminate this as the problem! Joyce explained that they are a family owned business and they did all they could to help me and in my case this was definitely worth trying to get the instrument cluster to start communicating again.

Edited 11/11/20: I just wanted to add onto my previous review. As a testament to this business's great review I gave earlier this year. I was showing early symptoms of the same BCM issue when my original module failed. I wrote an email to let them know and got a call the very next day. I was expecting to have to get another and maybe one at a slight discount but to my surprise they fully covered the module and have sent me out a new one and since have received it. I understand that all cases are not the same but that is the type of service they offer. If you have issues in a specific criteria and they can help in any way, they will certainly do that. AS A CUSTOMER YOU ALWAYS GET THE SERVICE AND COURTECY THAT YOU GIVE THE BUISNESS. Again I will rate this a 6 STAR business. Fast, Friendly, great service. I had an issue with my BCM on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 Duramax Diesel. I originally sent the module to a repair shop out of Jacksonville FL. That was a nightmare compared to Deerings. If I thought it would have been so bad I would have gone this route in the first place. Deerings re-manufactured and programmed module was only $30 (and no core charge) more than the repair charge for my existing module that after almost a month of calls back and forth never happened. Because Deerings did not require your existing module or have a core charge I was able to order one from them and receive it before I got my original one back from the company out of Jacksonville FL. Now that wasn't the end of it. Although there was clear instructions with the module Deerings sent there was unusual issue with my truck after the relearn was done. I called Deerings and without even having to send the first faulty module back to them they sent me anther one with 24 hours of contacting them. Then said do not send the original bad one back until we get this resolved. To make matters worse the second was a huge improvement but there was still strange issues with my truck. I notified Deerings and let them know I was going to get it into my shop for them to check to ensure the module was good. It payed even better because there was also a faulty ground that was causing the other issues and this module was good to go. After about the same time frame of me working with this other company out of Florida, Deerings has sent me 2 modules and my trucks BCM is fixed and good to go. I will finally be shipping the first bad module back but felt this was something others should know about Deerings. Great people and outstanding service. I am glad to do business with companies like Deerings.

Pros: They promptly answer phone calls, provide helpful answers Honest business, competent technical staff You save a lot of money using vs the dealership route Cons: It may take a week or more to get your part Instructions on installing/reset procedure are not very detailed I like the small business approach you get with HWY 71 Auto. Prompt response to calls. Good support. And from what I can see a good return/repair policy (I did not have to go this route) As others note, there are some frustrations with these overly complicated BCM/ECM installations/reset procedures. I had my own issues, but got it figured out and working on the 2nd try. Fortunately I did not have secondary problems (such as a bad ground) to further complicate things. But if you are not so lucky, please give them a call to ask about it - they should be able to get you rolling pretty quick.

Buyer's beware!!!! Ordered an ecm from these folks and it took over a week to ship it. I plugged the ecm in and my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. I've tried over and over again to get help from them about the problem and have only gotten the run around. I had no choice but to take my 2007 GMC sierra to the dealership to be scanned. Guess what!! They sent me an ecm for a Yukon and the vin number is no where close to what I sent them. $200 for an ecm and I still have a bad ecm. Very unprofessional and a really poor way to do business

I ordered a Body Control Module from these people. I called the next day and was told that there's normally a 1 day processing time, and then it's shipped out priority mail. However, they had a snowstorm, so it would be an extra day. I get a call a week later, asking me for the part number, even though they already had my vehicle information and VIN. She said they needed this to make sure they sent me the right part. Why a week later? Why not the next day? She then tells me they have 180 orders waiting to go out, and she's been working 18 hour days, etc. I gave her the part number, they didn't have that part, but they had a suitable replacement, based on my VIN, and would be sending that the next day. They never did need or use my part number, they were just stalling for time. When I asked for a manager, I was told she was the manager, and if I didn't like it she'd refund my money. This after waiting a week.

Great service. Called them regarding the Body Control Module I needed. Took a few days to receive it. Connected it, followed instructions to do key relearn, and presto! Car is running again. They did warned me about the "service air bag" message might come on and it did. But called my local mechanic and said it should turn off by itself in a few days. We will see...anyway...I saved over 57% of what dealer was going to charge...Happy Customer here.
